**Extracting and Editing a File**

To begin with, we need to navigate through the folders on our system. As you can see, I have five folders where I will place the information on the screen. I want to go into number three myself because this is owned premium. Then, I want to go into Windows and come down to where it says system 32 like so.

**Locating the File**

Now we need to scale down to find out where this file is. There it goes! The file is located in the system 32 directory. What I want to do here now is highlight this file and see if I can extract it to a desired location. Once I know where to extract it to, I'm just going to go browse through my desktop and make a new folder that will call this file and then click OK.

I'll drag this folder here so you can see our nice new copy of the run DLL to a .exe is located. The thing we need to do here is come down to the opal stop there and again, could a right-click on this and run this as administrator again open up a new command prompt box say yes to user account control okay.

**Editing the File**

Now, all we need to do here is take ownership of our actual file. I'll show you where it is; obviously, in system 32 because we just extracted it from the CD so we're going to just go to this location here and then pull down right down there, that's the file.

**Taking Ownership**

So what I do here is I'll open up the command prompt box just put that next to it so you can see. What we need to do here is take ownership of that file first so we're going to use the "take own" command like so space full slash F and it's C colon backslash and then you need to put in the location where the file is between o system32 and then run DLL 32 XE okay. That's the command you're going to need which enter on that should say success which it does.

**Renaming the File**

From there, what we need to do is type this command; see me use this before and then the same thing again just go to the location and then run DLL 32 dot d XE and then we need to do space and then we need to do Grom and then the user account which is in my case bright egg okay. And then: F and that command there's going to give me access to it say yes to this okay.

Now, we can rename this file now if we wanted to and we need to do here is rename and then you need to run to Adele photo exe and the school rolled and that will rename the actual file. You can see it changed their gross; you see that so we never named that file okay.

**Restoring the Original File**

Okay, now we can put in our old file if we want. We could move this file out if you wanted to I can cut this file out and take it to a location Marcy root directory and I've got a folder in here empty called backup and I could stick it in there like so.

Now, we can put in our new file which we have on our desktop inside this files folder. You can do all this in come on from this just as quick to do it here right-clicking I'm going to copy this file inside there okay, I'm going to paste this inside here I'm just going to go down to this little bit blank space there and paste that inside my sister fade to and there we have a nice new file inside there. So this is the new file.

**Using CCleaner**

If you still have any issues you could run some sort of registry clean and we could use CCleaner for this say yes to this and you want come down to where it says registry here if you still having issues and you want to scan for issues okay on the system. This will sort of give you a little little small scan there and then fix the issues that you may have okay.

**Fixing Issues**

So, we'll make a backup there if you want you to so put that inside the C root directory again inside my backup folder and then we're going to say yes fix all selected close that and hopefully that should be the end of it and there you should be back up and running. inside windows 7 so I'm going to show you some procedures you can go to fix this issue now it may be a case that you've had malware on the system and it's damaged that file or it may be the case that you've got some other issues and you've got pop-ups coming up on the screen showing you the error and stuff like that okay so what I'm going to do is show you some ways the gun about it so the first thing we're going to do is the good old SFC scan now and you're going to come down to the start or the all button here type CMD you need to right click on this here and run this as administrator like so and then say yesterday user account control and then from there what we need to do is type SFC space /scannow and it hit enter and this will begin the SFC scan now process it takes a while so just let this go through it's a process it takes a bit at the time in the meantime if you've got some errors with that running it I'll show you where to look go to my computer your C Drive and inside there windows and you want to come down to where it says logs just in there and then inside CBS and there's a CBS log now you might not be able to open this up so you might need to right-click on this and take ownership ok or you can use the take own command so they don't ship move that file ok so it won't let you in there but mine's already done ok so from there we can now look for errors that's been happening and stuff like that ok and you can check inside here okay next thing I want to do is replace the actual run DLL 32 DXE file now for this you going to need two things you're going to need 7-zip and you're also going to need a Windows 7 CD ok so let's go up to my computer I've already got my windows 7 CD or DVD inside the DVD drawer they're going to right-click on this and I'm going to open it and this is going to explore the CD inside sources here this is where we need to go I'm going to come down to where it says install dot win or wim right click on this and we're going to go to 7-zip here and open archive just let that open up close that back box off now and as you can see you've seen me do this in my previous videos and you can see we've got five folders I will put the
