What's Up Guys: Working on the Hatch

So I'm going to be working on the hatch, possibly pull the whole motor out. What I'm going to do right now is pull the head off so I can look at the cylinder walls and see if everything looks good there. I'm just going to try to figure out what that noise was and I could spend a lot more time just trying to check out all these like other little things but I'm just going to pull this motor out and rego through it, make sure it's good. I haven't had this thing out of the car and over two years maybe two and a half years so it's been holding together strong and it's finally been acting up on me so I'm just going to pull this thing out go through it and hopefully it's nothing too bad get it fixed get it all put back together and have it running as soon as I can.

To pull the head off, all you got to do is just pull this turbo manifold off, pull all the boots off the intake, pull the fuel lines off and on the hook any sensors, pull the timing belt off, pull the cams out, undo all the head bolts or yeah they're head studs, undo all those. Pull the head off and I'll be able to look down into the cylinders from there.

These guys are working on the GL, what are you guys doing on the Geo? Taking out the sound deadening, making it lighter so while they're working on that, I'm going to be turning into that today you you. So we have killing in the back here, hooking up the fuel pump, draining all the fuel on my tank, sit here in the battery yeah my bad. So we got 11 gallons to get rid of, we're going to go pull prank on Hayden and fill his tank without him knowing, crazy Freud is big, is so praying he's never going to know either it's a CRV get it cranked oh dude, we gonna go so the way down I think he's up in his room, so hopefully he doesn't see us. Bring you got to he'd cranked bro yeah he only has a quarter tank so oh thank god.

What'd you get all right, so I got the motor out of the hatch and we scooted Charlie's geo over closer to the plasma cutter because he's going to plows him cut out the sheet metal on the back to fit his fuel tank, so this should be interesting hopefully none of the gas that spilled out earlier catches on fire. They're Marquart uh not much she's pretty maxed out on distance just don't pull it off the table by having the execute the geo over more while they're young, they're lifting up Charlie and so anyways and pushing yeah I'm good.

Oh yeah little more maybe more oh look is you mess with the regulator this is an officer that works it's not coming out very strong okay but that's the last tip I got hopefully it doesn't melt it and you just don't touch it to it, so it's the one bracket which is already played. So this drill hole is almost bumpers support Oh Oh okay physically Oh they never damn chilling Empire off that it's a they're really the office are you an actor oh hey oh yeah that's when this still in good shape and I get to pull that guy off and put her on the stand, well that's as far as I'm going to get tonight guys so I did get the motor out got it up on the stand and I was getting ready to pull the pan off and start carrying into it but we're going to go do some stuff tonight so I will get to this tomorrow.

I'm thinking that that piston and the number one cylinder is probably a little messed up there's a pretty good score on that one cylinder, so I'll see what I need to do about that but I will get the hatch up and running hopefully really soon it's not too big of a deal so have a spare each 22 in our shed if I need to use it perfectly good block all that good stuff and I'll just order whatever I need and get this thing back up and running.
