Hi there, this is Ranjit and I have this Samsung Galaxy S5 and this uh Samsung Galaxy S5 is IP 67 certified so it's kind of water resistant and uh you might have already seen a lot of videos but I did get quite a few requests to do a water test on this so we'll do that.

The first thing that you need to make sure is that the USB slot is securely covered because that provides Water Production and also just make sure the back cover is also firmly in place so let's try this. We have our working Galaxy S5 and let's put it in water for a few minutes and see how it fits.

As you can see, it's now in water and actually the touch screen if you notice is not responsive inside the water but if you leave the camera on uh the camera actually works. Let it be uh in water completely and as you can see the touchcreen is simply not res responsive when it's inside the water and uh it's been a minute I just skipped.

Let's do one more thing let's give a call to this number and let's see how it fits uh now I'm calling this uh device from my other number IP67 certification means that it is water resistant up to 1 M uh for about 30 minutes and as you can see uh it can uh we can get calls and surprisingly I'm able to hear the sound also.

It's not that loud but I'm able to hear the sound also so let me end that call so even when it was submerged uh the I was able to get the call so that's interesting. So this is a quick uh test for the water assistant let me just take this out it's still wet I know I'll make a mess of the desk but again I haven't wiped it and still this touch screen as as you can see it's acting a little bit funny.

Let me just wipe it off and let's see let me just wipe this and now let's look at the screen and now everything is back to normal as you can see it's working fine. Let's uh try a simple YouTube video and see how the speaker works let's check out my own channel and as you can see the speaker is working fine.

Let me just uh open this unboxing video itself let me just change the orientation and as you can see it is working and the sound is also coming without any issues. So if accidentally your S5 falls in the water don't worry uh nothing should happen to the device and also the speaker is also working fine so I hope that you found this quick video helpful.
