Eating Moravian Cookies from North Carolina

I hope you guys are all well today, I'm going to be eating another snack that a viewer sent me so today I'm going to be eating this this little box of cookies was sent to me all the way from north carolina so north carolina for those of you that don't know where that is it's a state located in the u.s located kind of in the southern eastern coast of the u.s so loomis kay sent me this box of cookies along with this note and she said that she grew up in the area of winston-salem north carolina where these cookies are from these cookies are called moravian cookies and they're found in the winston-salem area of north carolina so i just received this package but these are cookies are usually celebrated in eaton around christmas anyways it sounds like a really beautiful place a really historic place and yeah if i'm ever in the north carolina area of near winston-salem i shall visit along with my cookies i have a little cup of tea and i'm going to take my tea bag out so my tea is not over stooped sugar lemon ginger and chocolate and wikipedia mentions that these maybe have the origins from lebekuken which is a german cookie thanks a little mustache so much for sending these cookies along by the way before i even taste them i want to thank you thanks and that's what it looks like it's a circle with a nice kind of fluted edge oh it smells great it smells nice and vanilla-y this is the sugar flavor so let's give that a taste itadakimasu mmm yum beautifully thin and crisp sweet and buttery and delectable with tea it's definitely more of a cookie to me than a biscuit immediately smell the lemon by appearances same look as the sugar wow yum same light crisp buttery short kind of texture but definitely different flavor full of lemon extract punchy lemonness not tart at all just very scented as lemon it's good as well cookies are always better with tea i think the warmth of the tea really makes the flavors pop yum next we have ginger oh they smell lovely the ginger ones are even thinner see the ginger this is the ginger and this is the plain sugar cookie the sugar and the lemon were both about this thickness and look how thin the ginger one is a beautiful golden brown color yum as you heard this also has seems to have more of a crisper texture less of a kind of crumbly texture and just crisp and crunchy flavor is beautifully gingered just like a ginger snap that kind of lovely spiced flavor it has a kind of toasted and baked flavor as well not overly sweet and just delicious this to me tastes like the holidays that gingery spicy pumpkins flavor this cookie is very similar to they're called anna's and they're i believe swedish cookies and they're round just like this same kind of flavor same shape but a little bit larger in diameter they're delicious that sound you hear in the background is my radiator it is really cold today and
