Yep, you heard that right this is a 32-inch 2160p monitor with what's that say HDR supports as well as USB-A bunch of features including one that automatically calibrates this to the temperature of the room which is actually really cool.

Before I unbox this, I do want to make one thing clear I think the focus of BenQ is usually gaming which is great. I've never actually owned a BenQ monitor okay, so for the purpose of my final video, I will be using an Xbox One on this and possibly something like my PS4 but mostly my Xbox One. But for my realistic usage, I'm actually going to put this in the kitchen right back here alongside an Apple TV because guys, I will say this there are often those times where I really, really want to watch something like Twitch or Netflix or YouTube in here while cooking yes, contrary to popular belief David Defranco does cook on occasion shocking, I know and while I don't really want to switch from the kitchen to my living room costume like what am I missing what am I missing so yeah, to have the convenience of a monitor, a 32-inch 4k display in my kitchen that's pretty sweet if you ask me.

Okay, with that said let's unbox this. This shall be very interesting because once again, I am in my kitchen, I'm going to do my best to get everything in frame while keeping things interesting for you guys. This was shipped via FedEx just arrived today let's open the box let's actually put this on the chair just to make it a little easier for me and less shaky for you guys. All right so we have a power cable which I'm pretty sure is required looks like the stand I could be wrong but it looks like the stand included is a USB-C cable very nice. This might be part of the stand, we'll find out in a bit, and I think that's it for accessories. Hold on hold on we also get a mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable.

And here is the display, it's a big box guys, it's a big box all right you know what, for the purpose of trying to not break anything I'll be right back okay so real quick before I unwrap the actual monitor these are indeed two parts of the stand you simply slide this in like this there you go flip it over and be sure to secure it boom, the stand is done. That honestly could not have been easier, and there you have it, the BenQ monitor is on the stand. Assembly wasn't bad at all. It's easier to put the display upside down first on a soft surface such as my couch, and that's exactly what I did, and then that way it's just easier to mount.

And on the bottom, you can barely see it but we do have 2 HDMI DisplayPort USB 3 and headphones out all right let's make this official. That's always satisfying, just found a few more things in the box some kind of circular object I'm not really sure what that is an adapter, now what guide a quick start guide all that stuff basically stuff we don't really need in 2019 of course. I say that respectfully. I mean come on it's a monitor you plug it in you power it on there's nothing else to it.

Let's do just that let's power it up and see what we've got, Maui, what do you think? God, I just realized he's sitting on scissors so it's very dangerous good boy, good boy. So guys, there it is. I gotta say, it's a very very nice fit.
