intel Pentium G620 processor unboxing

The Unboxing of Intel Pentium G6 20 Processor

Hi there, this is Ranjit from Tech to Buzz, and I'm excited to bring you the unboxing of this Intel Pentium processor specifically the G6 20. This processor is based on the Sandy Bridge architecture and sports the LGA socket one-one-five. It's a budget processor, and as we can see over here, it has two cores and two threads with hyper-threading disabled, but it does support Intel HD graphics if I'm not wrong, it's opposed into 2000 HD graphics. Additionally, it also features smart gauge technology but unfortunately doesn't have turbo boost. It supports two-channel DDR3 memory and comes with a three-year limited warranty.

You can buy this processor in India for around three thousand five hundred or three thousand six hundred rupees, and I would say it's a decent processor suitable for entry-level home theater PCs or just casual PCs where you do simple tasks like Office Word and Facebooking. Let me take a closer look at the packaging, and we get the heatsink, which is quite hot and slim, with thermal paste pre-applied. The heat sink itself is pretty impressive, even though it's designed for an i7 processor, its fins are slightly thinner due to the lower TDP of just 65 watts.

As you can see, the processor is here, and I'll take a closer look at it momentarily. However, before that, let me tell you a bit about the processor itself. The Intel Pentium G6 20 has two cores and two threads, with hyper-threading disabled, but as mentioned earlier, it does support Intel HD graphics. It's also equipped with smart gauge technology for better performance.

As part of the package, we get an included Pentium Processor Guide Manual, which contains detailed instructions on how to install the processor correctly. The manual is quite comprehensive and shows step-by-step guides on installing the processor onto a motherboard. In my next video, I'll be using this processor with the Z77 Base motherboard from AUSA's had centers and will be installing it with the fan turned on.

Now, let me take out the processor and examine it more closely. As you can see, it says Intel Pentium G6 20 over here. While I won't open it right now, this is the processor that we've been discussing throughout this unboxing video. Over the next couple of videos, I'll be using this processor to demonstrate how to install it onto a motherboard.

I'd like to take a moment to look at the packaging again and notice how detailed the instructions are. The manual includes step-by-step guides on installing the processor correctly, which is quite reassuring for those who might not be familiar with installing processors. With these detailed instructions, I'm confident that installing this processor will be relatively easy.

Overall, the Intel Pentium G6 20 looks like a great budget processor suitable for entry-level PCs or home theater systems where simple tasks like Office Word and Facebooking are required. Its features include two cores and two threads, support for Intel HD graphics, smart gauge technology, and two-channel DDR3 memory.
