Welcome to My YouTube Channel: Geki Ranjit
Hello and welcome back to my channel, folks! Today we're going to be discussing two phones that caught my attention - the HTC 1 and the Samsung Galaxy S4. Both of these devices have impressive camera capabilities, but which one takes the crown? In this video, we'll be comparing their video recording performance, specifically focusing on 108p full HD resolution.
The Rear Facing Camera: A 4 Megapixel Shooter
One thing that stood out to me about both phones is the rear facing camera. The HTC 1 boasts a 4 megapixel shooter, which HTC claims is an Ultra Pixel camera. This means it's designed to excel in low-light conditions. I'm excited to put this camera through its paces and see how it performs.
Side-by-Side Video Comparison
To get a better understanding of the camera performance, I've shot a video side by side, allowing you to judge the quality for yourself. Both phones have image stabilization enabled, which will help reduce camera shake and blur. Let's take a look at what we've got here.
Walking Around in Sunny Outdoor Conditions
For our first test, let's walk around outside on a sunny day, capturing some footage of the scenery. I'll switch between the two cameras to give you an idea of how they handle different lighting conditions. It's a beautiful day in India, with just a hint of wind blowing through.
Shadow Area Comparison
Now that we've got our camera stabilized, let's head into a shaded area where it's quite windy. We'll compare how each phone handles low light and shadowy conditions. The audio will be switched between the two cameras to give you an even better understanding of the differences.
Sunny Area Comparison (Again)
Next up, we're going back out into the sun again, this time walking through a very sunny area. This should give us another chance to see which camera performs better in bright light conditions.
Walking Backwards
Now, let's try something a bit different - I'll be walking backwards while recording. This will help us get a sense of how each phone handles movement and stabilization. We're still outdoors, but with plenty of natural light to go around.
Artificial Light Comparison
For our next test, we'll move indoors into an artificially lit area. The HTC 1 and the Galaxy S4 will be used in this setting, allowing us to see how they perform in different lighting conditions.
Getting Close to Objects
Now that we've got both phones set up, let's get close to some objects and see how their autofocus handles low light conditions. We'll just leave the cameras alone for a few seconds, without touching anything, and then bring them back to focus on our subjects.
Wrist Test: Image Stabilization in Action
To further test image stabilization, I'll move my watch into view while both phones are recording. This will give us an idea of how well each camera handles motion and blur.
StarTech Pictures Comparison
Finally, if you enjoyed this video, please consider subscribing to my channel! In the next video, we'll be comparing the photography capabilities of these two devices using StarTech pictures. We'll see which one takes better photos in various lighting conditions. Until then, thanks for watching!
