**First Impressions: The Asus Transformer Prime**
One of the aluminum circular swirl back plate is very attractive and stylish. It's fast, he says, having a quad-core processor that seems to take advantage of both hardware and software. This means that the software is optimized for the hardware, resulting in better performance. He also notes that the unit is slightly thinner and lighter than an iPad.
**Screen Quality**
He notes that the screen quality is equal to that of the first two generations of the iPad. While it's not up to the latest and greatest Retina Display on newer iPads, it's still a great display. The 8-megapixel camera is also an improvement over most tablets, which often have lower-quality cameras. However, he notes that few people use these cameras for anything other than video chats or voice calls.
**Android vs. iOS**
He gives his experiences with the Transformer Prime and says it's an excellent option for those who want to use an Android operating system instead of being locked into Apple iOS or iTunes. The docking station feature is also a highlight, as it transforms the tablet into more of a laptop. This allows users to connect wireless keyboards like Bluetooth wireless keyboards, making it seamless.
**The Value of Tablets**
Ron notes that tablets are kind of in between traditional laptops and full-touchscreen devices. They're not really laptops, but sometimes you need a keyboard. He also mentions that once touchscreens become more common on laptops, they'll be cool again. For now, the Transformer Prime offers great value as a lightweight and portable device.
**Ease of Transport**
He says that one of the biggest values of tablet computers is their ease of transport. They're typically lightweight and can fit easily in a bag or purse. As long as the screen is responsive to touch and the platform is healthy, with apps optimized for that screen size, you've got a winner.
**The Transformer Prime: A Great Option**
Ron believes that the Asus Transformer Prime is probably the best Android tablet out there. With its great display, improved camera, and seamless docking station feature, it's a top choice for those looking for an Android tablet. If you're in the market for an Android tablet, Ron recommends checking out the Transformer Prime.
