**Apple Should Listen to Their Customers: A Call to Action**

As an iPhone user, I have experienced firsthand the frustrations that come with using outdated and inefficient features. In this article, I will outline some of the changes that I believe Apple should make to improve the user experience on their devices.

**The Lock Screen: A Redesign Overdue**

One feature that I think is long overdue for an upgrade is the lock screen. Currently, users can only access certain shortcuts, such as the camera and flash, by swiping right on the home screen or lock screen. However, with a jailbreak, users can press and hold to choose an action. This lack of customization is frustrating, especially since we already have the ability to tap on these icons. I believe it would be convenient for Apple to add the ability to add shortcuts to the lock screen, allowing users to quickly access their desired features without having to navigate through menus.

**The Lock Screen: Weather and Calendar Integration**

Another feature that I think would be useful on the lock screen is integration with weather and calendar apps. Currently, we have limited information available on these screens. Adding a weather icon or even just displaying the date and time would make a significant difference in terms of user experience. Similarly, having access to our calendar events directly from the lock screen would be incredibly convenient.

**The Dock: A Drawer of Apps**

One feature that I think would greatly improve the user experience on the home screen is the ability to have a drawer of applications. Currently, users have to swipe all the way to the end page to access some of these latest apps and suggestions. Having a dedicated section for this information would be incredibly useful, allowing us to quickly access new features and updates without having to scroll through the entire list.

**Interactive Widgets: A Game-Changer**

Another feature that I think Apple should consider adding is interactive widgets. Currently, we have limited functionality on our home screen, but with interactive widgets, we could have a "platter" of shortcuts and features at our fingertips. For example, we could have a widget for Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, allowing us to easily turn these features off or on without having to navigate through menus.

To illustrate the potential benefits of interactive widgets, let me show you an example of how they could work on the home screen of iPhone. We already have music widgets, but what if we could take this a step further? Imagine being able to play and pause music directly from this widget, or even fast-forwarding through tracks with just a few taps.

**The Status Bar: Battery Percentage**

One feature that I think is almost overdue for an update is the battery percentage on the status bar. Currently, we are only shown a small battery icon, which doesn't provide much information about our device's power level. Adding a battery percentage would be incredibly useful, allowing us to quickly check how much juice is left in our batteries.

**Control Center: A Redesign**

Finally, I think Apple should consider redesigning control center to make it more user-friendly and practical. Currently, the control center looks similar throughout different versions of iOS, but with a jailbreak tweak, we can create a custom version that is both functional and visually appealing. Having a separate section for our camera app shortcuts, as well as interactive widgets like Velux Reloaded Two, would make a significant difference in terms of user experience.

15 to the next level but it's time for apple to actually make a difference and actually listen to their customers and the first thing i want to talk about is the lock screen i would like to get your feedback on this one if you agree or you don't agree now the first thing i'm going to do is go ahead and show you what's happening here on the lock screen of this iphone of course this iphone is jailbroken apple is rumored to be bringing to the iphone a new notification system we don't know what that will be as of yet but this is a good example right you have your icons here you tap into an icon you see a preview of a notification you hide it just like so i've shared this one with you guys before now something that i really want apple to change is the fact that you can swipe right on the home screen or lock screen here for the camera but then you also press on the shortcut to bring the camera on a standard iphone obviously this one is jailbroken so you can press and hold and actually choose an action as you can see right there not everybody wants to use the camera when they tap on this icon here because honestly we can tap on the camera but we can always swipe on the camera as well so it's almost redundant right so hopefully apple will bring the ability to add shortcuts to the lock screen here you have the flash available right here i also have do not disturb available as you can see and i can change these shortcuts to whatever i want i have the notes also have the actual camera there so hopefully the lock screen will get improvements we'll see the upgrade notifications hopefully we'll also see some weather on the lock screen that would be useful maybe the calendar as well the option to choose and of course the ability to choose different shortcuts for the shortcuts right there on the lock screen of iphone next i want to jump into the home screen there's a whole lot apple can do here as well i want to start off with the dock apple should allow users to have a drawer of applications maybe most recent or maybe even the app library access right there on the dock i think it would be very very useful for many users let me know what you think about
