A Look at Ferrari's Opus Collection: A Rare Glimpse into the Enzo Legacy
The Ferrari Opus collection is a treasure trove of automotive art and history, showcasing some of the most iconic and rare cars ever produced by Maranello. This impressive display features works commissioned by Enzo Ferrari himself, including Dino, one of his favorite cars. The collection also includes other highly prized models such as the F40, F50, Enzo, and LaFerrari, each a testament to Ferrari's commitment to innovation and excellence.
As we explore the Opus collection, it becomes clear that every car in the display holds a special place in Ferrari's history. Each piece is a tribute to the roads where Ferrari cars have been born, including the iconic routes of Italy. The display also features Pirelli tires, which are an essential part of any Ferrari's heritage.
One of the most striking aspects of the Opus collection is its attention to detail. From the sleek designs to the intricate engineering, every aspect of these cars has been meticulously crafted to reflect Enzo Ferrari's vision for the future of motorsport. The collection also includes rare documentation and model cars, providing a glimpse into the inner workings of the Ferrari factory during its most productive period.
As we move through the Opus collection, it becomes clear that this is more than just a display of cars - it's an immersive experience that allows visitors to connect with Ferrari's rich history. Each car on display has been carefully curated to showcase not only its technical prowess but also its emotional resonance. Whether you're a seasoned Ferrari enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of automotive design, the Opus collection is sure to captivate.
The Opus collection is also notable for its rarity and exclusivity. Few people have had the privilege of seeing such an extensive display of Ferrari's most prized models in one place. The sheer scale and complexity of this project are a testament to the dedication and expertise of the Ferrari team, who worked tirelessly to create this extraordinary experience.
One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to drive the LaFerrari through the streets of Beverly Hills. This was an unforgettable experience that allowed us to appreciate the car's raw power and handling in person. As we cruised along Rodeo Drive, surrounded by other rare and exotic cars, it became clear why the LaFerrari is one of Ferrari's most iconic models.
Our drive through Beverly Hills was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that gave us a unique perspective on the city's rich automotive history. We chased after other Ferrari owners, including an AMG GTS, as we navigated the crowded streets and took in the sights and sounds of this exclusive neighborhood. The adrenaline rush of driving through one of the world's most famous car collections was exhilarating, to say the least.
As our drive came to a close, we were treated to a stunning photo shoot with the two cars, capturing their sleek designs and powerful lines on camera. This was an incredible opportunity to showcase these extraordinary vehicles in all their glory, and we're grateful to have had the chance to experience it firsthand.
A huge thank you goes out to Tony from Life of Ferrari for making this event possible. His passion for Ferrari is evident in every detail of his work, and we were honored to be a part of this exclusive experience. We also extend our gratitude to Amber from GI Automotive Group, who arranged the evening shoot and provided invaluable support throughout the event.
As we conclude our journey through the Opus collection, it's clear that this is an experience unlike any other. Ferrari's commitment to innovation, craftsmanship, and heritage shines through in every aspect of this incredible display. Whether you're a seasoned car enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates beauty, the Opus collection is sure to captivate and inspire.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi guys I'm me hello to you and welcome back to the channel where you join me for a very laugher re-themed video I'm here with life of Ferrari and two of his la Ferraris the Aperta and the coupe a and we're going to be taking them out for a drive around Los Angeles for a photo shoot but before we do check out this man cave Ferrari focused with a particularly special car that I want to come and show you before we go anywhere so let's take a look around and then jump into one of the two cars to go out for a drive the dedication to this display is just incredible the memorabilia that lines the walls the commissioned artworks some pieces that have come from Ferrari events taking place around the world and then you have the cars so life for Ferrari actually has three la Ferraris in total his original red coupe a is off on display in a museum here we have his Nero Daytona la ferrari Aperta and then the most recent acquisition the la ferrari in nero itself straight black so we're gonna be taking out these two cars and we'll talk a lot more about those later on but for the moment just come and explore the fantastic mancave here the theme is of course Ferrari as you look around but with a few other additions some special Italian highlights and a particular highlight of mine is this the Pininfarina Sergio now they bought this car just six of them in total based on the four five eight special a apart-er so it was the last car done by Ferrari designed by Pininfarina the collaboration working together it's also the last naturally aspirated v8 engine Ferrari - the last v8 supercar that they launched without twin turbos or without a turbocharged engine and not only that this specific car has some very very nice unique details so the paintwork is a custom-made color Azzurro low-low which is the color name that's been given to it a bit darker than say TDF blue that you normally would see from Ferrari coming into the inside of the car in here again pretty unique with the painted instrument cluster you have here the 12 o'clock stripe on the steering wheel it has the laferrari style stork for the controls down in the center where the normal car just had those flat on the base of the central tunnel the seats have had some modifications made to them as well but this is I mean the heights of exclusivity right really and truly a unique car none of the others are blue this is the only one in the world like this the contrast gold wheels know to come around to the back to show you something back there as well to squeeze through this gap alongside the GTC flawless so but I hadn't actually noticed about the sérgio before but it has this floating prancing horse right at the back it's not stuck down it's actually mounted just slightly out and I think it's the only Ferrari that's ever had that but I really really like this it's effectively a speciality Aperta but without the roof there is no roof of system at all it's always open that just gives it some very very sleek looks having a slightly lower windscreen and then that floating piece that hangs all the way across the back so let's whizz around the other cars that we have on display here we've got one of the 70th anniversary editions of the GTC faultless so I'm a big fan of those as you know then at the back we have two three two eights now the reason for this the three two our GT B and three to eight GTS is because Tony's first ever Ferrari was a three to eight so these pay tribute to that then in the middle at the back we have the 288 GTO the iconic Ferrari the first of the real Ferrari hyper cars we have a guest appearance in the garage at the moment alongside two Alfa Romeo 8c s the coupe a and the Spyder both stunningly beautiful cars Tony's reached a number of old Alfa Romeos and events like the Mille Miglia and these pay tribute to bass elements of the garage then the de Tomaso Pantera this thing is just crazy this was an iconic out-and-out wild supercar a few decades ago so that had to be in a collection and then continuing round a couple of other additions the Dino with chairs and Flair's I think it was called with the Daytona seats and the wider arches on it only a handful of those made as convertibles his sons carve and I love and then another denote tucked in over at the end and then of course these two looking beautiful together the laferrari 'he's one open roofed one fixed roof and it's actually quite interesting to come and see some of the differences and the first of those you will notice right here look at the height of the door mirrors so the door mirror arms had to be redesigned for the apart-er obviously the Kupe was launched first to handle a new door mechanism because the door can no longer hinge from the roof so the laferrari Kupe hinges out with this panel that makes up part of the roof which just makes getting in and out a little bit easier but because obviously there is no roof on their purse or the hinge mechanism had to be changed and it opens in quite a different way so let's just actually get these opened up so you can see this fully opened and see the differences are saya then maneuver my way back through them towards the front it's quite substantial work to redesign that and make it still come together and work on the car now there are a couple of really subtle things we think some of the lines around the front might have been changed we know there's some work to the underneath that change between the two different generations off the car to handle the difference in airflow because quite frankly take away the smoothness of the roof you're gonna introduce all sorts of different things going on up there obviously we know a lot about the laferrari 6.3 liter naturally aspirated v12 supported by a curse style hybrid assistance system for 963 horsepower ridiculous power in fact and an amazing sound that comes out of the exhaust system at the back but the Aperta only 210 of them made in total five hundred of the coop a two hundred of these for customers nine for Ferrari to use in their 70th anniversary celebrations the cars that were taken around the world and then one additional that was created to be used as a charitable donated for charitable proceeds but this in Nero Daytona with the livery pack with the gloss red they're are so coarse a stripe just looks fantastic and then Tony had the u.s. flags on the car for an event he took part in the Ferrari owners drive through Italy and they stayed on ever since that's why they're on the car now but I think this as a display is just epic it's so cool seeing all of this obviously tributes to the main roads where we are right now and for Nia but some very special pieces Dino is one of his favorite cars artworks that were commissioned for each of the big five you can say it only used to own 288 the f40 f50 Enzo and laferrari and just some very special pieces all around even upstairs you just come up here even Pirelli tires down here but up here we're gonna have a fantastic view as well down over the main hall and all the cars that are here that is a great great view this is the kind of thing I love we've got the Opus the Ferrari book that covers just about everything from the history Ferrari of Beverly Hills with the model cars some documents and things about cars he's owned in the past I love this this is really cool so let's get things up then because it's gonna be time to take these out it's a love it roars the v12 course so I will be jumping into for the drive right now the two cars driving together but for the minute which you need to get them outside and lined up and ready ready to go out into the night it's time then to fire the opposer into life of course the same engine shared by both cars let's give this a listen I would swear that I was louder maybe just it all started say mention of sweet boat cars but I better get myself out of the way jump into the water that I today's journey once a garage it's time to jump in they're not gonna find the handle here in the dark so into the laferrari we step to embark on our drive here we go well it's not normal that you go out in one lap and here we are this is pretty crazy heading towards babbling elephant limits so that gt3 is where lost I think the guy who was like because normally a gt3 is a pretty cool car but here we have 102 degrees he's training in the one night so cheating real Mario and we're here today and I am bigger than white amber from GI automotive related there is responsible for aging tonight stripe because is a completely insane now the thing is totally getting me at the moment is looking at the traffic ahead you've got kind of normal car normal car normal car and then around the corner there you have a la ferrari and then this is the simple fact that we're inside of our contribute it doesn't quite add up completely correctly but the two cars together totally normal well it pretty much is normal if Emily Hills right yeah no this is not normal anywhere world-famous Rodeo Drive Beverly Wilshire hotel key 500 or g550 4x4 square box outside of the school here it's a call that time two packs of us here we go two cars here with all of the lights so ridiculously go that Corvette gold chrome looks like it was oh goodness so we're off there was an AMG GTS just down there we're in a laferrari chasing a Ferrari up Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills there was a list so coming the other way at a target and in our rates nice cars absolutely everywhere right now a second ago we actually saw a hurricane - and I'm not sure where it's looking it's probably in the traffic right in front of us and in very nice rows always still if Gigi's yes and take accruals by I'm saying farewell bye guys to the LA Ferraris at this moment because I have to dash off for what's an awesome amount of fun driving with the two of them but noise of the whale in the background they're not gonna go and do a photo shoot with the two cars I can't wait to see the shots I had a lot of fun though chasing a laugh in a laugh in Beverly Hills LA so there we go what an evening a big thanks to Tony from life of Ferrari for the opportunity to come by the collection let's take a look around so do go give him a follow on Instagram if you'd like to see more of the cars and of course also to amber from GI automotive group for arranging this evening shoot and also the opportunity to join her in the laferrari coop a it's not every day that happens it's been an awesome one so thank you very
