The cherry on top of our latest project was undoubtedly the Nissan 370Z hatchback, affectionately known as "Velveeta" to the team. One of the standout features of our 370Z is its rather unusual name, "Blankito." It's a term that was coined by none other than our team lead, who jokingly referred to the car as such due to its small stature. Little did we know, however, that the word "blankito" has a rather interesting history. As it turns out, it's a colloquialism used in some Latin American countries to refer to someone of European descent. Who knew?

As we began working on our 370Z, we quickly realized that the real challenge lay ahead. The car had been modified with a rather unusual exhaust system, which not only added a deep rumble to its engine but also required significant modifications to the axle-back setup. four different colors this is the real color right here do you see it I like it it's blue it's nice it's nice all right can we take it for a spin there you wanna drive it I would love to drive it I would love to drive it this thing came out so freaking cool thank you I wish I got a red shell but White's clean no this is really really clean wide light or white is nice to hide the is it that is it an anniversary one with the white trim you would think so yeah it's not that's cool it's nice because it hides all the dodgy body work and you know dodgy dodgy it's an old car it's easy who did the Bodywork spoon no some dude in the shop a long time ago I was gonna say you better not be calling spoon dodgy it's good to see old girl here you like that so I'm hoping we have time today if Jimmy still has my old bumper from when he bought this it had a good lip on it there she is is the lip still on it yeah of course dude you see the K series in E6 no oh no we like tuned it sound amazing we tuned it and I it was like okay time to paint the car in the corner boom God that camera's so beautiful it's cool right and it sounds so different than most of the case I usually hate how they sound yeah because usually you don't get a full exhaust so itvs with the full exhaust usually get the exhaust out the hood yeah or the fender so it's pretty cool to hear it it's beautiful it looks like it belongs to that's right yeah it's good it keeps the soul v86 you've never been passenger I've never been past what if it's really fast it's not well hold on hold on for a second yep the porch yeah yeah that's my favorite thing just how nicely the door shut up you know what it reminds me of like uh like a G wagon door no oh that sounds really bougie to me I would never actually I have a Dubai but like it's the same thing yeah it's very messy clicks yeah so um the exhaust dump isn't open I could turn it on it's faster and it's louder exhaust dump it has a valve it's externally gated no it just has a valve so is it is it before the turbo after no no turbo this is na36 you knew this wasn't Turbo it's got the wing though for the turbo I'm opposer with your head to have the floor around pedals the floor mounted pedals dude it's weird it's smooth it is weird so I'm actually I'm actually kind of excited because my first air cooler portion I just drove like not too long ago okay and this is the the better engine of the two because that one I think is a three or three two and this is a three six you want me to open it up where's the manual yeah why is it that loud it's a lot louder yeah why did you get that smirk I'll do it once you pull out the shower it's not that much louder but it's just like you're like oh can I turn the lock yeah yeah it's not that low no power steering no power steering it's so the 964s do come with power steering this was removed for some reason I don't know the guy wait I don't know the guy AC no AC well it does it just doesn't work right now yeah it needs a lot of love like it's a typical like Japanese Street yep it's a typical Japanese thing where they made it outside look cool and then they touched nothing else I I wanted like a really clean 964 to like I don't know if you're the same way but I can't learn about a car until I own one yeah I want to block it out so bad I wanted to own one with the intention of reselling it and say like I don't know a year or two so like just buy one at the right price that's a nice car I don't need to work on it and then I wanted to do like my own like full ground up like G-Body build yeah yeah like lightweight style but I don't want to just buy a car and jump head first into it because I'm gonna do a lot of stuff that I'm gonna regret later or if I buy one and I get to know the the world of it first because you know the do's and the don'ts yeah 993s are really nice and people like 993's a lot but some of them by the front end just kind of looks funky to me I don't know you like I think I think it's like one of those things that grows on you now I'm obsessed with it like At first I was like that looks off because to me the Pinnacle of Miracle course design six four yeah and so the nine technology Wise It's the 993 yeah but in terms of styling wise 99 it's the 964 right look at that stocking porches bro look at this now who would have thought noise it sounds like it's a blow off valve it's it's the exhaust stuff I'm gonna open it up really yeah it's not it's not that much louder it's pretty low it's not that bad it's actually well these are actually pretty well insulated cabins it's like oh yeah no for how loud the car is I could feel the uh the wide body I think makes the front end kind of wow that's a big difference no the front end the alignments garbage right now I just lowered it we haven't had time to actually behind it slice about it is like I thought Porsches more over in it like this like up and over but you actually sit like down and in which is really nice and the visibility is so nice with like the flat windshield it's kind of like you're driving a minivan like in like nine a bad way no no what you mean on brakes we're good yeah okay I feel like it's the funniest thing but do you notice when people that don't know anything about cars they like they touch the brakes like that like oh wow good brakes good brakes I definitely feel a little bit more grunt than the smaller motor already yeah they have a decent amount of torque and this thing is definitely missing a little bit of power just from like maintenance yeah you have you rubbed it out all the way yeah you can beat on it whatever you're up to I don't know until I feel guilty yeah it starts making bad noise instead of good noises the valve flow Works real good oh yeah that's it really this thing sounded like it was the biggest pile it drives real nice you know you know what it is it's like one of those I'll get a jump sticker on his mark IV Jetta that's crazy I know Ryan oh my God um that's such a project I know okay that was the joke no it's like so I'll be honest to me I'm sorry I haven't watched a single video on this car it's okay you've been too busy winning FD it doesn't have anti-roll back no no should I phase this guy and just try to roll in them no no well that was a little sketchy all right I'm gonna give a little one two give it a beans have you ever like got a car from Japan it has a bunch of switches that go to nothing all the time so it's like I don't have to like backtrack all the wiring one was for the heater box they had a heater box in it but a small house you hear the idle search yeah yeah it's like introduction to 964s oil leaks and idle surges really oh yeah this thing's really cool though I'm really happy for you thank you material it's nice too it's not bad dude you just describe this car as like such a bad car it's really nice I know it's a 964 so like I feel like when everyone thinks it is they think of like a stinger 964 where it's like a macula in perfect it's called the Stinger yeah I love you a lot the only reason I know like an ounce of anything about air cool courses because one of my buddies is like really into them is it air conditioning yeah it's the AC which one it doesn't go down scores and like your horses they're kind of like hipster cars aren't they in my mind but I'm just thinking like well what outfit do you wear when you drive Miracle portion I feel like you have like some facial hair like blue light glasses an IPA no you're not draw you're not doing an imba while driving your Porsche yeah that's hard part but it's hard part yeah I don't know I feel like it's like like the joke is it's like the next Evolution for a Volkswagen guy right yeah like and so like think about what your average Northeast Voltron guy no obviously driving a turbo would be a whole different experience but they're not being that much faster no I think like Power number wise it's like an extra and like I feel like if you're getting into one of these the odds of having issues are so much higher getting a turbo car yeah versus this is what that was that right hand drive ring yeah okay oh my god oh that was crazy I'm gonna make like one of those oh dude are we smoking are we I'm just kidding oh my God my heart oh God it kind of smelled like that little bit though it's a Pizza yeah so one of the heater vents is just blowing right there is your Blake really hot right now yeah it's funny that you said the seat's broken and stuck in this position is literally the Jimmy Oaks I guess that's the engine compartment cover what you got going on in here she's Dusty yeah that's a Japanese special it'll clean up so nice though right it's not bad I'm like really excited to have one of these just like a vapor hone everything yeah right I feel like you could own one Vapor on everything and like make like a couple degrees so there's like there's a wax coating on the bottom of these things cosmoline and so they get really covered in dirt right and so people just has no protective film so it's like this like weird pretty simple looking like everyone makes these things sound really terrifying and maybe they are but like they're really there's like four sensors on this thing it's just like boom yeah especially compared to even compared to the 930 there's it's so much simpler it's very interesting it looks way different but at the end of the day it's literally all the same stuff that we're used to you're gonna do a good old base shave on old girl new Oaks garage special a little trunk shave you said you said all porscheology are just old Volkswagen guys that's true but they're all like over it and just want to like drive it and not even work on it they do what is it
