Porsche GT4 RS vs GT3 RS _ A Drive That Dreams Are Made Of

A Day of Fun in the Swiss Alps: A Comparison Between the Porsche GT4 RS and GT3 RS

As I sat in front of my car, a 2022 Porsche GT4 RS, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nostalgia. This was one of my favorite roads next to the Grimsby Pass, and I had spent five days with this car, getting used to its exceptional handling and performance. However, today was different. Today, I had decided to take on a new challenge: driving a Porsche GT3 RS alongside my trusty friend in his GT4 RS.

As we set off up the east side of the System Pass, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the breathtaking views surrounding us. The sun was shining, and the air was crisp and clean, making for an exhilarating driving experience. My friend, who had joined me on this adventure, was behind me in his GT3 RS, and we were both taking turns to drive and enjoy the scenery.

As we climbed higher, the road became narrower and more winding, requiring us to slow down and take care when navigating the corners. However, that's where the GT3 RS truly came into its own. With its rear-engine layout and mid-mounted engine, this car was perfectly balanced, making it a joy to drive through even the tightest of corners.

I couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over me as I drove through some of my favorite parts of the road. This section, in particular, was my absolute favorite - it was like driving on a cloud. The road twisted and turned, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, and I felt like I was flying.

But what truly set the GT3 RS apart from its sibling, the GT4 RS, was the sound of its exhaust note. Oh, that glorious exhaust note! It's music to my ears, a symphony of pure joy and exhilaration that never gets old. And when you're driving on a winding road like this, with the wind in your hair and the sun on your face, it's the perfect accompaniment to an already perfect day.

As we stopped to help a motorcyclist who had encountered a bit of trouble, I couldn't help but think about how much I had missed driving a GT3 since last summer. The sheer excitement and thrill of driving such a powerful and precise car was something that I never took for granted. And now, with the GT4 RS by my side, I felt like I was missing out on a fundamental part of the Porsche experience.

But in the end, it didn't matter what car you were driving - whether it was a GT3 or a GT4 - all that mattered was having fun. And we certainly had our fair share of fun today, blasting through the mountain roads with the wind in our hair and the sun on our faces. It's days like these that remind me why I fell in love with cars in the first place.

As I pulled over to help the motorcyclist, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this experience. Driving a Porsche GT3 RS is truly an unforgettable experience, one that never gets old and always leaves you feeling exhilarated and satisfied. And as I sat there, helping the motorcyclist get back on his feet, I knew that I would be dreaming of this day for weeks to come - a perfect day in the Swiss Alps with my trusty Porsche by my side.

The Sound of the GT3 RS

As we continued our drive through the mountain roads, I couldn't help but think about the sound of the GT3 RS. The exhaust note is one of those things that's impossible to describe - it's a symphony of power and precision that never gets old. And when you're driving on a winding road like this, with the wind in your hair and the sun on your face, it's the perfect accompaniment to an already perfect day.

But what truly sets the GT3 RS apart from its sibling, the GT4 RS, is the sound of its exhaust note. It's a bit louder, a bit more aggressive, and overall, just a more thrilling experience. And when you're driving through tight corners or over rough terrain, it's the perfect reminder that this car is built for speed and agility.

As I sat in my GT4 RS, feeling the rush of adrenaline as we sped down the mountain road, I couldn't help but think about how much I loved the sound of the GT3 RS. It's a bit more raw, a bit more unfiltered, and overall, just a more exciting experience. And when you're driving on a winding road like this, with the wind in your hair and the sun on your face, it's the perfect way to enjoy the thrill of driving.

But as I pulled over to help the motorcyclist, I couldn't help but think about how much I had missed the exhaust sound of my old GT3. The carbon air box was a game-changer - it added a whole new level of depth and complexity to the sound, making it truly unforgettable. And when you're driving on a winding road like this, with the wind in your hair and the sun on your face, it's the perfect way to experience the thrill of driving.

Driving with Friends

As we continued our drive through the mountain roads, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the companionship of my friend. We were both having an absolute blast, taking turns to drive and enjoy the scenery. And as we sped down the mountain road, with the wind in our hair and the sun on our faces, it was like nothing could ever bring us down.

But what truly made this experience special was the camaraderie of driving with friends. There's something about sharing the thrill of driving with someone who understands your passion for cars that just can't be beat. And as we pulled over to help the motorcyclist, I couldn't help but think about how much I loved spending time with my friend - whether it was talking cars or simply enjoying each other's company.

As we sat there, chatting and laughing together, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this experience. Driving a Porsche GT3 RS is truly an unforgettable experience, one that never gets old and always leaves you feeling exhilarated and satisfied. "WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enback on the system passed today first drive of 2022 on the system pass it is one of my favorite roads next to the grimsby pass and today is about again just having fun in the gt4 rs and i've also got a friend of mine as you can see who has joined in his gt3 rs and what i thought i would do is a kind of small comparison not about which is better i think that's kind of impossible to say and that's a total personal thing it's just a fun comparison to see how it is jumping in one to the other i've not driven actually a gt3 rs for quite some time and right now i've spent five days with the gt4 rs and of course i'm very used to it so i'm interested to see how i'm going to feel jumping in at gt3s and how different it does feel i know there is quite an ask question at the moment if you had around 180 000 swiss francs which would what be a base gt4 rs spec you could get one for around 180 000 but at the same time you could get a used gt3 rs with i don't know around 20 30 000 kilometers or maybe for around 170 180 000 depending on the spec in kilometers of course and that would be a really really tough decision and 911 is a 911 at the end of the day and will always be timeless that car right there will just be good forever quick look at both cars sitting next to each other what a sight this is swiss alps two porsche gt cars wow yeah gonna jump in the gt4 rs first drive it up the east side of the pass and then over the other side gonna jump into the gt3 rs briefly just to get a feel for it i've missed this car so much so if you'd asked me a few days ago i i was well i am obsessed with this car completely obsessed it's so so special but now i'm seeing this in the flesh again the shape i mean is just one of the best looking cars in the world when i see it sitting next to a gt4 rs i'm like hmm okay yeah i think i would have to go for one of these if i was in the market to buy a porsche gt car for this price range now this one the spec that it's at is 210 000 swiss francs it is quite a lot you can as i said get a base spec i think for around 180 000 swiss francs but this has the voice act package which i think is a 19 000 franc option it would be hard you think okay do i spend 210 000 on this or do i spend around 180 000 on a slightly used gt3 rs which as i said is just timeless so now heading up the east side of the system pass this is actually the side that i filmed the porsche 981 spider video on which still gets fused today filmed this a couple of years ago still against views and comments that was such a fun video and i thought i would head up the other side today for a change because i think i've actually overdone the north side a bit and actually i can't really say which is better they're both both sides are actually equally as good they both offer a lot this is probably a little bit more tight a bit more twisty i would say whereas the other side is just a bit more open and higher speeds well there's higher speeds as you can go here but as you can see behind me we have got laro in his gt3 rs which has been on my channel many times over the last couple of years so i thought i would face the gopro backwards for this drive it would be rude not to with such a car behind me and also looking actually back down this pass is probably one of the best views looking down the valley so yeah the gt4 rs well where am i with it at the moment this car is an engineering masterpiece i would say to drive is a driving experience yeah it's as an rs should be as you all know this carbon air box sound it's really really unique sounds good oh yes if i wanted to spend that exact amount of money 180 000 swiss francs i probably would go for a tt3rs because i think i would only want the gt4 rs with a higher spec and when you can do the vice package which would then be going over 200 000 swiss francs as this one is 210 000 swiss francs but regardless you know what at the end you're gonna be you're gonna be very very happy so it's gonna do a quick bit of overtaking of a suzuki which was not difficult in this surprisingly oh yes oh yes look at this road it's just i'm blasting up the system pass in a gt4 rs with my friend in a gt3 rs behind me and actually that's all that matters in the end it doesn't actually matter what car you're in it helps if you're in a porsche or gt3 gt3 rs gt4 rs but you know it's just about having fun in the end and that gt3 rs behind me if i had to own that for the rest of my life i would be a very happy man i definitely wouldn't drive that feeling that i need more anything else this is just different you know what this is that i think that's the best way to describe it it's just a different experience the gt3 rs with a rear engine you know because a whole nother feeling when driving that is a tight corner no problem for this perfectly balanced mid-engined oh my god look at this road so i'm just now this is my favorite part of the road this heaven right here actually absolute heaven bit bumpy there it's 6 p.m on a sunday evening and i feel like the luckiest man alive right now this is just talk about a nice way to spend your sunday evening yes that sounds good well this is a nice day isn't it this is a very very incredible pinch myself moment sunday evening i just you know would like to spend every single day of my life like this up on a mountain pass with some cool cars ideally some porsche gt cars blasting around with your friends straight away feels like definitely a much bigger car i feel so different straight away i have missed this i've not driven a gt3 since last summer and how i've missed it yeah the gt4 rs definitely feels you know more precise i would say from the steering but oh my i've missed the gt3 and pure exhaust sound that's actually maybe something i missed now in the gt4 rs the exhaust sound maybe the carbon air box after some time will will always be good but maybe at one point you're gonna miss exhaust sound and then this you're having pure exhaust sound i'm going to stop the sack the gates what is that the gates okay i'm just gonna go and help this motorcyclist is having a little bit of a trouble oh that was fast that was definitely not the speed limit ciao carry on what he was saying then he actually uh didn't crash luckily he did the classic mistake which most people have experienced at one point being a biker that's just catching your foot and uh not getting your foot down in time and he literally just just fell over he just caught his foot on the side somewhere as he was uh trying to kick down the stand and uh fell on the floor it could happen it can happen to all of us but luckily the man is okay and that's all that matters anyway on with the drive yes it just feels just feels right this car really really does either i've gone slightly death from the gt4s which is possible or it's actually quite quiet no sorry that's wrong or the gt4s is actually that loud because i feel so relaxed in here with the sound now i mean it sounds amazing window down on the wall that's just a timeless gt3 rf sound and that's what i said about this car the thing is about this you can buy one now you can buy one in 10 years it will always be cool it will always be worth around the price is worth now it will never get old it's a really really it's such a fantastic car what am i talking about fantastic car my dream car is one of the best that was an absolute understatement then as i said i'm not going to say about which is better than the other you get what you like at the end of the day that's all that matters is what makes you happy but when i will be able to buy a car of this price range you know around 50 000 more than my current gt4 i have to say i would go for this you\n"
