The Wan Show: A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Gaming and More
As we began our show today, I couldn't help but notice how uncomfortable some of our guests looked. It's like they were trying to hide something behind those awkward smiles. But then, suddenly, they started swinging down the monitor set up, and it was like a whole new world opened up. I mean, who wouldn't want to see a spaceship control panel with all sorts of buttons and levers? It's like the future has arrived right in front of us.
But enough about that for now. Let's talk about the straw poll we had on castles. We asked our audience which game they thought was the best, and the results were pretty surprising. With 42 votes, Gabe ended came out on top, followed closely by Castles with 41 votes, and a lone vote from Elon Musk. Now, I know some of you might be thinking, "But Linus, what about the impact of these games on society?" And that's a fair question. But let's be real, folks. We can't deny the influence that Gabe Newell has had on the gaming industry.
Of course, we can't ignore the fact that Elon Musk has made some pretty significant contributions to humanity as well. I mean, have you seen his Twitter feed? The man is a genius. But when it comes to gaming, there's no denying that Castles is the real deal. With its epic storyline and stunning graphics, it's like nothing we've ever seen before.
And speaking of things we've never seen before, let's talk about Star Citizen. I've been trying this game out, and I have to say, it's got some serious issues with mouse controls. I mean, who thought it was a good idea to make the mouse feel so...floaty? But don't worry, folks, I've found a solution. I'm going to be using a USB-to-game controller adapter to play the game on my old Top Gun joystick. It's not ideal, but at least I'll get that same quality feel we're all looking for.
Now, some of you might be thinking, "Linus, what about Solar Roadways?" Well, let me tell you, folks. Those things are not going to make themselves. But hey, a guy can dream, right? We'll just have to wait and see if they ever come to fruition.
And finally, we've got some news on E3. It's going to be awesome...or terrible. We're not really sure which yet. But one thing's for sure: it's going to be an event to remember.
