The Recent Release of iOS 11 and its Impact on Control Center

with the recent release of ios 11 it certainly brought some interesting and annoying bugs but with that said there is one specific feature out there in my opinion that stands out amongst the rest hello guys how are you david frankie here and today's video is all about ios 11 on the iphone now i say on the iphone for a reason because i believe ios 11 is a much more enjoyable experience on the ipad but in regards to the iphone not gonna lie apple you still got a lot of work to do however today's video is all about one specific feature and that is control center

i am a big fan of control center i've been using it for years but with the recent release of ios 11 control center has received a complete makeover and basically it allows you to do so much more than you previously could okay so for those five of you who are not familiar with control center you simply swipe up on your iphone or ipad and you get a quick shortcut list of everyday functions such as brightness i use that obsessively volume music playback wi-fi bluetooth cellular and even airplane mode but of course the fun does not have to stop there first of all go into settings tap control center customize controls now as you can see as of today i have flashlight calculator apple tv remote camera wallet screen recording home and notes all activated in my control center but down here you get even more options accessibility shortcuts alarm do not disturb while driving guided access low power mode which i'm sure is a popular one magnifier stopwatch text size timer and even voice memos

okay so let's swipe up and see what my control center looks like all the basic controls up there but of course with 3d touch you can apply pressure and get some contextual options which is definitely very nice now something you cannot do yet is change wifi networks right from the screen you're still um required to go down to settings as i should have done before wi-fi and change your network right there but hopefully that comes with a future um update to ios 11. however with that said i'm not going to hold my breath anyway orientation lock do not disturb all that stuff's there screen mirroring which i actually use on occasion i got my flashlight

but check this out apply 3d touch pressure and you can actually adjust the intensity of the flashlight which is certainly very nice calculator completely redesigned for ios 11. apple tv remote which is very useful i could choose that put in the passcode i'm not in front of my apple tv right now but you got to believe me it works wonders and it actually uh works quite well camera of course you have your usual options take selfie record video record slow-mo and take portrait if you have an iphone 7 plus or iphone 8 plus in that matter apple wallet i love this i'm not going to open it for privacy reasons but i use that all the time now for my writer's card and it's a lot easier um rather than having to search with spotlights you can record your screen which yes has been a feature for jailbroken iphones for years but now that it's official that's very nice

home kit allows me to quickly access my home kit supported accessories and i can now create a new notes which is certainly very nice i'm going home there opening control center and that's basically my control center i mean i really have nothing else to say i just wanted to make this video just in case you're not aware of how truly flexible control center is now i mean apple has done a great job at making it more accessible than ever so guys what do you think what are your thoughts on control center what are your favorite features within control center i mean just the fact that it includes miniature apps in a way you know especially for the apple tv i think it's huge and it can definitely save you the user a lot of time
