Genesis X Convertible concept is a stunning drop-top

Genesis loves it some concept cars lately a while back we got a close-up look at the Genesis X then genesis created the X speedium Coupe now we have the completion of an X Trilogy of vehicles with the arrival of the X convertible which makes it triple x sorry sorry scratch that X Trilogy works and this one looks amazing.

The Genesis X convertible has taken design language from the other members of the three-part ensemble style is the name of the game and this concept wears it all so well. This is a four passenger convertible that has taken the basic lines of the X then applied the expedium nose and lighting treatment and ditched the roof. This car almost feels like something Mercedes-Benz wishes it had thought of you.

Have the long Hood up front and a nice tight rear overhang at each corner sit truly beautiful wheels which Genesis says combine its G Matrix pattern formed into an arrow dish like looked it works well and would actually pull heat from the brakes if Genesis decides to go with a wheel like this. The cabin space is all about the driver since the instrument panel envelops them that bluish color used here is called giwa Navy, giwa is what the roof tiles on a Korean house are called which is a cool nod to the Homeland.

The materials used throughout include recyclable wool so there's clearly attention being paid to every bit of what's going on here. Of course, this one is still a concept but Genesis has extolled the wonder that is this design language across three different models that should tell you that you're looking at the brand's future and it's a future that's hopefully drawing ever closer because all three vehicles look exceptional a especially this convertible.

As someone who doesn't typically care for drop tops, the styling on this one however just draws you right in from the dramatic lighting to the taut lines pulling back hard from the hood over the front fender through the shoulder and all the way out back into the ducktail rear section. Picture the X convertible running on the powertrain from say the Kia ev6 GT that would mean 576 horsepower on top great chassis dynamics and the ability to charge quickly all while looking as good as it does Genesis.

If you're taking any notes in all three models my only one is that you need to start building them and then give us a sleek sedan based on the same style now that would be one dramatic and amazing lineup for sure.
