Redmi Buds 3 Lite Unboxing & Review - How is it SO CHEAP!
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys I'm pratima and today I will be talking about the redmi but 3 Lite which is xiaomi's latest pair of tws earphones these earphones have just been launched in the South Asian market and are priced at 2 000 rupees in India and some 3 400 rupees here in Nepal in India it is going on sale from today and good news is that for the first 48 hours you can actually get it for 1500 Indian rupees making it the cheapest tws earbuds from a major smartphone company right now I have been testing these earbuds for about two to three days so let me share with you all my findings with you in this video right after unboxing it also uh please don't be confused I had two units so I used one this one for my test and the other one I am unboxing right now so that you guys don't miss out on the unboxing experience okay there you go Inside the Box you have the charging case with the earbuds and okay we have additional ear tips and then we also have these extra pair of hooks so uh that's basically it all the basic stuff inside the box so I'm just going to clear this right now and let's start talking about these earbuds now okay so even though this is a budget tws the overall build quality here is actually pretty good and um I really like the size of it it's really tiny and it slips into my pant pocket quite easily okay now uh coming to the earbuds itself as you can see it has a pretty basic design but something I appreciate about its design is the fact that it has these uh hooks which makes for a really tight fit so if you're someone who works out you will be impressed by the fit that these earbuds offer but just to give you an idea let's just try jumping around foreign and it's not like these earbuds are uncomfortable not at all if anything they're so lightweight that you almost don't feel them in your ears also it has ip54 rating so it can take on light resource or sweat more on the design the outer surface of the earbuds are not sensitive and they respond to Taps and long presses for instance you can play and pause the earbuds by long pressing either earbud but do note that it takes around two to three seconds to play and pause you can double tap to skip to the next attack and triple tap to summon your phone's voice assistant but if you do wish to change the volume levels you will have to use your phone you don't have onboard controls for doing that on the earbuds themselves as for connectivity you get latest Bluetooth 5.2 with support for automatic pairing in my time with these earbuds I haven't experienced any kind of connection drop or connectivity issues which I am quite happy about but because this this is a budget device there's no companion app for it which is a bit sad because this also means that these earbuds will not receive any updates nor you will be able to tweak music or equalizer settings to make them sound better okay now let's talk about how these earbuds from redmi actually sound and disclaimer I will say that I am quite impressed actually these earbuds are adequately loud and the overall sound quality is surprisingly balanced almost and unlike with other budget tws it does not over emphasize on bass which does not make it sound artificial and I feel like it is thumpy enough given its budget the mids sound a little suppressed here but it is good enough for Poppy and trendy vocal based Tunes so I am not complaining about that also it offers a decent passive noise cancellation to give you a rough idea about how good its audio quality is I tested it against the slightly more expensive zabra Elite 3 which is my current pick for the best tws earbuds it costs around 4000 rupees in India which is almost double their redmi bought three lights price and uh well for that extra price I found the sound quality to be way better to be more clear the Elite 3 has a much wider Sound Stage IT offers better passive noise cancellation and it has quite a refined companion app which gives you option to tweak a lot of settings but then again that does not make the redmi birth C light any less exciting after all it costs half the price and for what it's worth I think the redmi bought 3 Lite is a very very good performer and even for phone calls the sound quality is not that bad having said that I did find its game mode to be a huge gimmick here on a hardware level the redmi watch 3 Lite does not have any low latency or apt X support which means that technically it does not have support for low latency the output so basically switching to the game mode is not any different than normal mode finally let's talk about its battery life redmi promises up to 5 hours of battery life on a single charge whereas in my test that number was closer to around four hours which I think is decent enough of course you can get closer to the claimed battery life by listening at lower volumes it's totally up your reference on top of that the case provides two more charging cycles and impressively the redmi birth C light supports fast charging as well and it charges via tech support all in all the redmi bought 3 Lite is an excellent offering for the price it has at first I do not have much expectations from it since xiaomi usually does not make good tws earbuds but this one came out as a surprise and I'm pretty happy with its performance so if you're on one budget the redmi but 3 Lite might just be the budget earbuds that you're looking for it's a light it's comfortable and the audio quality is exceptionally well considering that this is among the cheapest earbuds out there and you get decent battery life here too but if you're not on a very tight budget I would suggest you add a little extra and consider other options like the zabra Elite 3 or the JBL tune 130 and see which will not only offer better sound quality but you will get greater flexibility with different sound profiles as well so guys that was all for our unboxing and review of redmi's latest but 3 Lite if given a choice which one would you go for the redmi Boss 3 Lite or the zabra Elite 3 or if you have any other tws in mind which performs better do let us know in the comments below till then
