**A Look Back at My Recent Movie Watching Experience**
I recently had a bunch of amazing people to watch movies with, including Jennifer Gardner, Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, and Ryan Reynolds. This was a fun time, and I was expecting not as much since I love Ryan Reynolds, but I feel like he plays the same character in every freaking movie - an overly sarcastic, cocky guy. However, in this movie, he was kind of like that, but it was played back at me a lot and I think that really benefited the movie a ton. This movie is like a time travel type of movie, basically we have Adam who was in the movie, um, I want to say he's like 10 or 11, and then he gets to meet Ryan Reynolds who is like his older self because his older self came back in time and they have to go warn his dad about something. It's just a fun movie, I think it was hilarious, I love the time travel aspect of it, I enjoyed it, I gave it a four and a half out of five - I would rewatch it again honestly, um, and I also love like the star of the show is young Adam, he stole the show, he was hilarious. In fact, I think because of that movie and they thought they saw how funny he was, he got cast as the new Percy Jackson, which I think a lot of people really appreciate because they have done Percy Jackson wrong in the cinema - i haven't read the books and I don't think I've watched the adaptations, but I know they were like every fan is like "no", they're not happy about that, but with this new um casting for Percy Jackson, I think there could be a lot of potential. So, if you just want a fun time travel movie, I would highly recommend checking this one out - it was a great time honestly.
**Nightmare Alley (2019) Review**
I recently watched Nightmare Alley because it was on Hulu and it's by the director whose name I couldn't pronounce, but he's done like um Lady in the Water, and he's very cinematic, very beautiful with cinematography. So, basically it starts off with Bradley Cooper as a carnival worker who gets into magic, and then he develops his own act into magician, and then it goes into him doing things like that. I love the setting of it - it was very gritty set in the carnival world, it had that kind of dusty effect where it's all kind of like set in a dusty town, and just was interesting. I gave it a four out of five - the main appeal for a lot of people is the costumes and the cinematography in this movie, and it had Tony Collette in it as well - my girl Tony Collette killing it um she was great in this movie, but I enjoyed it, it was it was a good time. I liked it more than Lady in the Water which i didn't really like honestly um, but this one was pretty good.
**Marry Me (2022) Review**
The last thing I watched was Marry Me with Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson - I feel so bad for Ellen DeGeneres now because I will never see him as anything but Lightning McQueen. Because my son has been obsessed with cars since forever, that's all I hear is "Lightning McQueen". So this one basically is about Jennifer Lopez who stars as a famous singer how far-fetched is that - um and basically she gets stood up and decides to marry some random person in the audience Owen Wilson and it's from there. It was okay, it was just kind of not a lot of depth in this movie whatsoever I gave it a three out of five - it was just kind of a good movie to watch once and you're done there, you have it.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello everyone today i am here to share with you all the things i've recently watched so i started this like i don't know like maybe five months ago um and i've been really enjoying it i like to write down every show or movie i've completed so i can talk about it and share it with you guys and see what you think and things like that i want to say this is like two or three months worth because i haven't been watching as much because my daughter stays up for longer periods of time and naps or less so i don't have a lot more time to watch things which is okay i knew that was going to happen because before i had her when i just had no i barely had any time to watch so we're kind of getting back to that but either way i have lots of things i want to talk to you about so i'm going to start with the shows because there's only about four of them but i want to talk about them first up is hawkeye i think this one came out in december so it's been a minute since i've done this um hawkeye was on disney plus it's a new marvel show linderell it's all about hawkeye and i enjoyed it i have to say i give it a four out of five i would say that the marvel shows have been a hit or miss for me um i really loved um one division that was my favorite so far of all the shows they've done and i think a lot of us can attest to that um i didn't really love loki nor um the winner so the you know what it is though not the winner so the winner soldier and falcon falcon women's culture i didn't love those two as much as i thought it was going to but i really enjoyed hawkeye and on division i think because it was really like like marvel focused if you will i just had a good time with it i mean there's nothing really to talk about it other than you know it's got jeremy renner in it and then it's got um i forget the actress's name but i thought they did really good um and it was interesting i don't know if they're gonna have a second season i could see them doing that only with her maybe not so much jeremy renner because he's kind of passing on the reigns to her and i think that's great um i enjoyed it like i said four out of five not much to really talk about with it then we have cheer season two so if you don't know cheer came out i want to say a couple years ago and it exploded on netflix it followed this community college in texas i believe um navarro and um it was all about their journey to go to the national cheer i don't know somewhere in florida i'm not sure okay i did cheer when i was younger i never got like to be in the bigs but basically it's all about their journey and how it's very very hard and the first percentage here was amazing because you never knew how hard these cheerleaders work like how they're truly gymnasts like the things they can do is just astonishing like it's like wow like it should be physically impossible really but it's just amazing so i really enjoyed cheer season one i really wish they would have just ended with that because i didn't really see a need for cheer season two so i just wish they would have kind of stuck with season one i think it was just a good one and done things season two was okay it also focused on another college that was kind of navarro's um arch nemesis if you will i think trinity college is also in texas and i have i found myself actually rooting for them a lot more i don't know but then i don't know it was just okay season two wasn't really that amazing i gave it a three out of five it was okay like i said cheer season one was great i think it would have been a great mini series and just stuck with just the first season i think that would have been good because i'm sure they're gonna release another season because it's just a popular series so will i watch if they do another season i don't know and then we have pieces of her so pieces of her is a show based on a book by the same name by karen slaughter and it's a book i have read i booked i read it a few years ago and i enjoyed the book it was it was it's the only karen flatter book i've read since because it's been the most tame karen slaughter because if you don't know karen slaughter writes some intense books like i'm talking about some really gory gritty violent books so pieces of her was not that bad it's almost like this probably the only book i could read by her so i enjoyed it and so basically pieces of her is all about this mother and daughter where the mother is not who she says she is how she's had this really um scary life before her daughter and her daughter's figuring it out now and it's got the great amazing tony collette who honestly does not get nearly enough credit in like the hollywood world like she's an amazing i don't know how she's going to oscar yet i really don't she's amazing i love her in every single thing she's in but the show was just not the show for her i just didn't i didn't think it really showed tony collette for who she really is the show was just meh i did not really enjoy it i gave it a three out of five just nothing like i think the first couple episodes were interesting it was really building this mystery but then after that it was just kind of lackluster you just don't know what else to say it just wasn't that good i think it could have been so much better but i don't know i just don't think tony collette was the right person for this role and that's not saying anything bad because i love her like well she's been to some of my favorite movies but she just didn't portray the character the way i thought i don't know i just didn't love the show which is a shame because i was very anticipating it because i did really enjoy the book the show was just kind of i don't know again a three out of five just not not today i'm not sure i just didn't enjoy it then i rewatched the sand lot because it was just feeling like nostalgic that day whenever this was um if you don't know the sandlot is like a kids baseball time i was expecting not that much because i love ryan reynolds but i feel like he plays the same character in every freaking movie like an overly sarcastic cocky guy that's how he is in this movie he was kind of like that but it was played back a lot and i think that really benefited the movie a ton this movie is like a time travel type of movie basically we have adam who was in the movie um i want to say he's like 10 or 11 and then he gets to meet ryan reynolds who is like his older self because his older self came back in time and they have to go warn his dad about something and it's just a fun movie i think it was a real hilarious i love the time travel aspect of it i enjoyed it i gave it a four and a half out of five like i would rewatch it again honestly um and i also love like the star of the show is young adam he stole the show he was hilarious in fact i think because of that movie and they think they saw how humor like how funny he was he got cast as the new percy jackson which i think a lot of people really appreciate because they have done percy jackson wrong in the cinema i haven't read the books and i i don't think i've watched the adaptations but i know they were like every fan is like no they're not happy about that but with this new um casting percy jackson i think there could be a lot in the tunnel like i think he could be a good percy jackson so let's hope so but if you just want a fun time travel movie i would highly recommend checking this one out it was a great time honestly then we have neymar alley i watched nightmare alley because it was on hulu and it's by the director oh gosh i can't pronounce his name he's he's done like um lady in the water he's very cinematic very like beautiful with a cinematography and i decided to watch nightmare ollie because it really appealed to me how it was set kind of in an old carnival time so basically it said i don't know what time period it was but it starts bradley cooper starts off as a kearny and then he develops his own act into magician and like kind of like a person that tells the future it's an act and then it goes into him doing things like that and i love the setting of it it was very gritty set in the carnival world it had that kind of dusty effect where it's all kind of like set in a dusty town and just was interesting i gave it a four out of five i think the main appeal for a lot of people is the costumes and the cinematography in this this had tony collette in it as well my girl tony collette killing it um she was great in this movie but i enjoyed it it was it was a good time i liked it more than lady the water i did not really like lady in the water all that much honestly um but this one i enjoyed i thought it was pretty good it wasn't like amazing which i don't think that's why i didn't win a lot of oscars which i totally get but um this one it was good like the visual aspect the cinematography the costumes they were all there for me and the last thing i watched was a rom-com marry me the star jennifer lopez and owen wilson who i feel so bad for ellen melissa now because i will never see him as anything but lightning mcqueen because my son has been obsessed with cars since forever that's all i hear that's all i see is light mcqueen so like whenever i see owen wilson i just say catch out that's solid so this one basically is about jennifer lopez who stars as a famous singer how far-fetched is that um and basically she gets stood up and she decides to marry some random person in the audience owen wilson and it's from there and it was okay it was like there's not a lot of depth this movie whatsoever i gave it a three out of five it was just kind of a good movie to watch once and you're good there you have it those are all the things i've watched like the past three or four months i'll see you in the summertime when i do another one of these when i've watched and i have a list more that i could talk about but i would love to know if you've watched any of these but your thoughts and feelings are on them and things like that thank you guys so much for watching and i will see you in my next video bye\n"
