"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello everyone 2017 is coming to a close so naturally it is time to start talking about 2018 releases and as always there is literally so many books coming out 2018 that I just so many books I'm gonna share with you my most anticipated releases of 2018 there's a lot of them around 30 to 35 I want to say and of course I did not list all of the books I'm interested in because if I'm honest there is a ton more that I am interested in anticipating but I didn't want to be here forever I don't want you to be here forever so I kind of narrowed it down to my most anticipated so of course I'm probably about some books that you're really interested and of course I probably have forgotten some I've tried to do as much research it's possible but of course I have probably left out a ton so just know this is a very rough list kind of really just falls apart around June because that's around six months out of 2018 and there's not too many books that we know about that are coming out from June on so just know that you try to do seasonally most anticipated releases so I'll do like a winter or spring a summer fall so just know I try to do what every three months so I will be doing more throughout 2018 this is not the one this is not the one all 2018 most anticipated list there's gonna be a ton more so just dive in because there's so many books to talk about try to do this chronologically so of course we're gonna start with January and some of these I actually do have visible arcs of surprisingly so yay first book I want to talk about it comes out 2018 it comes out January 2nd and that is meet-cute this is a anthology literally all about meet cutes it's like a cute way when you meet a person like you both reach for the same book at the library or the bookstore it it to me it's so full to the brim of some amazing authors this is I think it's edited by Jennifer L Armentrout we have Daniel Clayton Katie - Katie Cadogan oh we have Holly Fitzpatrick Nina Lacour and rain award katharine McPhee Julie Murphy Sara Shepard Nicola Hyun EB EB is OA I think that's how you say her name either right this is like the first book I'm planning to read a thousand ad and I cannot wait because I love anthologies and I love just the notion of neat cute so super excited for this one next up coming out January 9th is Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman the second book in the arc of a sighs sighs series I would say that wrong this series we have this world that has no death no hunger and a famish like everything's going great well it controls the population our size and they decide you know who to kill and when and this series would follow to teenagers that become apprentices to be sighs and it's their journey throughout it so I really enjoyed sigh the first book I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did so I cannot wait for Thunderhead now I don't know this is gonna be a duology or if it's a series I'm not quite sure on that but either way I am very much anticipated let's build On January night we have love/hate and other filters coming out January 16th by Samara a med I hopefully I pronounced that right this I'm reading what I wrote down it's an own voices coming-of-age debut novel which Indian American Muslim teen friends Islam phobia who play across that correctly in a reality what she can neither explain nor escape super excited for this one I'm trying to read more of those I'm trying to read more own voices novels and this would just sounds amazing plus I believe she's studying to become a filmmaker which makes me even more excited because I just love that and we have the hazelwood by Melissa Albert which comes out January 30th is all about Alice who learns that her grandmother who was a co-author of really dark fairy tales has died so her mother go to her grandmother's estate called the Hazelwood and her mom gets kidnapped by a person claiming to be from one of her grandmother's stories so Alice's only option is to venture into the Hazelwood pretty much I think like her grandmother's state but I also think it's gonna be like a venture into her grandmother's like actual stories to save her mother this sounds like a really really deep and dark twisty kind of fairy tale book which I'm all for and I think January is like the perfect time to read it because it's just dark outside let's read some dark creepy books last book and January I am anticipating it's called still me by Jojo Moyes which again comes out January 30th this is the third book in the me before you series and I'm anticipating it and also very apprehensive about it me before you is a very controversial book a lot of people love it a lot of people don't like it a lot of people don't love the representation in it back I I love the book when I first read it looking back on it I don't know if I would love it as much because of the representation also the second book which is called after you I wasn't really a big fan of I don't see why I'd need to be written we have still meet which is the third book so we're gonna venture farther into Louise's life after will pretty much so I don't know I'm definitely going to read it that's for sure but I don't if I'm honest with you I'm not expecting to love it just because I didn't love the second book so we'll just have to see either right for sure reading anything I'm moving on into February the first one I want to talk about is the bells by Daniel Clayton this is a hunker of a book this one comes out February 6 in the world of Orleans where bells are revered for their beauty and they control beauty and beauty is a thing that's coveted above all else people really pine and cherish and like do anything for beauty follow Camilla who wants to be the favorite belle of all in New Orleans she wants to be the top of like the belle list but then of course we learn things they're not white as they quite seem this definitely delves into privileged Dells into Greece into the notion of beauty so a very very exciting arena I'm just apprehensive because of the sheer size it's a big one but I've heard nothing but amazing things about this book and I think it's a debut novel which is great because I definitely need to read more of those so coming out on February 6th is America panda by Gloria Cho and this is about a Taiwanese American teen you know it's want her to be a doctor and to marry a Taiwanese Ivy League um guy despite her squeamishness with germs and her crush on a Japanese classmate this just sounds like a really adorable contemporary novel which I you guys know I am all about those so this just I mean the cover alone to February 6 I believe is this February 8th but I think it's probably February 6 is the great alone by Kristen Hanna this is an adult novel and all it really says about it is 1974 Alaska and family and that's all you know about it Kristen Hanna has written a ton of books before I've been interested in a lot of them I just purchased her I just purchased another one of her books I'm interested in but I just this one sounds really interesting even though we don't know anything about it I've heard she just really writes captivating real-life stories that I want to read more adult books going in 2018 so I really want to check this one out on February 13th it surprised me by Sophie Kinsella you guys know so if you can saw is my favorite adult Chiclets author like I love her so I'm so happy that this is coming right around Valentine's Day because I just think she writes love so amazingly this is about a married couple who's been married for close to 10 years and they decide to start doing little surprises to keep the marriage interesting so they don't go stagnant doesn't go stale and of course we're gonna delve into more about them I don't think so if we can saw has ever written about a marriage per se at most it's mostly about a woman that's trying to find marriage or trying to find love so first foray into writing marriage so I'm very interested in reading that ever the fact it's about a couple that's been married for almost 10 years that's exactly and what house in 18 my husband I will have been married for 10 years so exciti read this book because I just love Sophie Kinsella and it's gonna sound very personable to my life any last book I have for February is heart of iron by Ashley Poston which comes out February 27th this is pitches anastasia meets firefly yeah I'm excited this is from the same author who wrote key karela which is a huge surprise for me in 2017 I read it and is expecting to like it but I ended up loving it she writes these fairytale retellings so amazing so the fact that this is gonna be like anastasia pretty much in space it sounds like i'm pretty excited and the cover the cover looks so interesting I cannot wait for those ones and to March the first book I want to talk about is restore Me by Tahereh Mafi and this one comes out March 6 and this is the fourth book in the shattered me series so shatter me was a very popular trilogy when I first started booktube it everybody who is anybody was reading that book and loved it and loves a love triangle it had and I fell for her too I was a sucker for that love triangle and the whole series of rock so I'm interested in reading this book I'm not gonna lie I'm excited for it but I don't like super excited for it just because it's been so many years since the series is ended that I maybe need to reread them to refresh my memory but I remember I won't do that but I'm still excited because it means more Warner and I am off for that tell me on March 6 is to kill a kingdom by Alexandre Cristo this is a dark twisty retell of the Little Mermaid super excited for it so I feel like with fairytale retellings there is either a hit for me or a downfall for me I've read a lot of really good blends and I've read a lot of bad ones so I'm hoping this one is good I don't know if I've ever read a Little Mermaid dark retelling but I feel like the whole story of Little Mermaid is really dark already honestly so I'm excited to read it again the cover is beautiful feel like 2018 is already killing it with governors I suppose it comes out in March them interestin is called obsidian by amie kaufman and jay kristoff this is the third book and they illuminate files and I think it's the last book I'm not sure I read the first two in 2017 and just fell in love with it it's a sci-fi novel where it's told like mixed-media format so there's no like real dialogue in it it's more like kind of have pictures in it it'll have text conversations that will have IMS it'll have emails it's really really awesome I'd say if you're a big sci-fi fan read that series moving into April the first book I want to talk about is starry eyes by Jen Bennett which comes out April 3rd this is about a group camping trip that goes wrong which leads to teens train together which I'm sure it's gonna be love and adorable I read Alex and I read Alex approximately about his author and I loved it it's just a really cute contemporary book that I am always up then we have a Reaper at the gate by sabah 2 here which comes out April 24th and this is the third book at the Emperor and the ashes series kind of like a Romanesque gladiator gladiator it's hard to explain this series it's fantasy but it's also very much set in the Roman type of world and it's really really good the world is so rich the characters are amazing I have favorite characters but we didn't have I think this book was supposed to 17 but it didn't so it's coming out this year and they've changed the covers yet again which is I'm not a huge fan of but I am a huge fan of this series so I'm excited to read it last book in April is Leah on the offbeat by becky albertalli which comes out April 24th this is pretty much follows Leah who was Simon's best friend and her other book site members as the Homo sapiens agenda' which I started to read so obviously I'm a theory that one before this one and yeah that's what this book is about so I don't know anything about Leah cuz I have read Simon yet but planning on it and I definitely plan to read this look in May I feel like May is always a really big month for book releases in why I feel like May and October or September are like our biggest months so the first book obviously is a court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J Maas which comes out May 1st this is the a novella book that's set and the court of thorns and roses were all but it's a develop but it's 256 pages so I feel like it's just a book of my it so no actually calls it a novella which I guess it probably is a novella comparing since it is Sarah J mask because her books are like and we're 500 - like 800 pages so I just have okay it's a novella follows Farah and Rhys and after the course of a court of wings and ruin so such long titles I mean rice and anymore rice and I'm there for so I'm a first is ninety nine days and nine nights by Katie could diagnose this is the sequel / companion I'm not sure if it's gonna be a sequel to 99 days which I read this year and I liked it I didn't love it but I'm interested to see what she's gonna do with the sequel because I do feel like it merits a sequel because she left it there very much open-ended so I found with Katie could have notebooks that they're not my favorite contemporary books but I really enjoyed her writing so and how quickly I can fly through the book on May 20 night there's a legendary by Stephenie Garber this is the second book in the car of all series and this is pretty much about two sisters that go to this thing or this island that's called car of all words like this elusive game and this all that crazy stuff and one of the sisters gets kidnapped by the ringmaster and the other sister has to find her so she has to go really deep into the world of karvall and experience it so this is gonna take place after the first book and I like the first book I didn't love it but I loved the way the author wrote about Cara Vaughn how rich and how just really vivid she wrote the world so and the covers again hey I'm interested in is listen to your heart by Casey West which also comes out on May 29th this is a better girl that gets involved with a podcast that is pretty much giving love advice to people and she becomes good at it and of course and sure Love's gonna come her way Casey wes is one of my favorite contemporary authors by far so very excited for this one going into June the first book I want to talk about is from twinkle with love bikes and on many I always pronounce her name wrong that comes out June 5th this is about twinkle who is an aspiring filmmaker and a Wallflower and then when a fellow film geek Sahil approaches her direct a movie into the summer festival he's very excited to do it plus it gets a plus it gets her closer to her longtime crush Neil ASA heels twin brother only the only problem is twinkles falling for Sahil what she should really be falling for Neil so it sounds adorable sounds great I love when diplomat Rishi so super excited for this one and we have another one my favorite contemporary authors Morgan Matson which is called save the date which is also coming out June 5th this is a wedding themed book about a grand Charlie whose older sister is coming into town to get married at her family's house before they sell it and it's pretty much pitched just like sixteen Candles which if you have watched that movie go watch it it's a classic Molly Ringwald movie like go watch that go out to pretty in pink and The Breakfast Club and have an amazing day but either way wedding movies is also sounds a lot like father of the bride too because they're getting married in the backyard so I mean 80s and ID's on there for so on June 5th which is problems seem to be a very busy day for publishing is roar by Korra Carmack the second book in the storm heart series is about people who can control storms like they can like manipulate them and they can Corral them and they can like pull gems from the storms and we follow our main character Aurora aka roar who is a princess only problem is she doesn't have the storm power she can not control storms so she kind of runs away gets in with the band of misfits to learn how to control storms and that's where goes so this is another surprise book for me that I was expecting to like but I ended up loving so super excited for the next book June 26 my Plain Jane is coming out this is written by Cynthia Han Jody Meadows and Brody action this is the companion novel to my lady Jane which was released in 2016 and it was one of my favorite books of the whole year it was so funny just hilarious so this is a funny retelling twist of Jane Eyre which is with a supernatural twist too so and my lady Jane there Jane who was a queen for like a week before I was off with her head so they decided to retell it and kind of give her a happier ending but it was hilarious and I expected this one it's gonna be just the same and I love these two girls together I think they're amazing other people come on and talk about comes out in June is another book written by Ruth where it just says book for and unknown June Ruth where as an adult mystery thriller author which I have yet to really love one of her novels but I just keep coming back to them because they're just quick and fast thrilling reads that I'm always interested in so I don't know this is gonna come out in June it's Lena did you love to see in July we have the last time I lied by Riley Sager which is the unknown July so we don't know when it's coming out this is in which a damaged young woman goes to the summer camp which she went to fifteen years ago where three of her friends had disappeared and never to be seen again Riley Sager also wrote final girls it's also a synonym Ethernet word so Riley Sager is not the actual author's name he's writing under another name of Riley Sager but I love final girls I thought it was a great thriller I think that's my favorite thriller of 2017 so very excited for this way so that's all I have for July like I said around June it gets kind of dicey I think in August the only thing I have is toilet trouble which is 16 tales of women and witchcraft which is coming out August 28th so you can guess it's another anthology all about witchcraft a woman and yeah that one September I do have some I have a couple obviously the biggest one obviously is throwing up glass number seven we don't know the title of it we don't know we do know what's coming out sent over forth this is written obviously by Sarah J Maas this is the last book in this series so this is a big big release so the covers can be relieved the cover is gonna be really soon as well as the title and I'm excited for it I will say I do like her court of thorns and roses series a little bit more than Thor a little bit more than throne of glass also in September is vengeful by the e Schwab who just got the release for the cover for which I am obsessed with that's the second book in the villain series is she supposed one of my favorite books the last year I was obsessed with that book I love the each was writing so very very much looking forward to this one so I don't have anything for October or November there's just not really any books that are released right now that we know about of course it's gonna change obviously soon but as of right now I don't know anything December the last book I have is clean of air in darkness by Cassandra Clare this is the third book in the dark artifice a series which is one of her many men series of Shadowhunters and I'm just a sucker for honestly he's so yeah and the one book I have that has an unknown date we don't know anything about it that's probably a lot of books are probably the second book in the renegade series probably the another book in three dark crown series by Katara Blake the muse of nightmares by Laini Taylor which is the second book and these stories of the dreamer series I mean there are so many sequels that have yet to be put a date on and also the title so I'm not sure your guess is as good as mine either way those are all the books I am anticipating for 2018 a lot of them so I'm sure I'd miss some like I said please let me know down in the comments which books you were looking most forward to in 2018 and I would love to hear 2018 some listen it'd be an amazing year for reading and I cannot wait to read every single one of these books so if you enjoyed this video be sure to give it a thumbs up hit subscribe and I will see you guys in the next onehello everyone 2017 is coming to a close so naturally it is time to start talking about 2018 this is the third book and they illuminate files and I think it's the last book I'm not sure I read the first two in 2017 and just fell in love with it it's a sci-fi novel where it's told like mixed-media format so there's no like real dialogue in it it's more like kind of have pictures in it it'll have text conversations that will have IMS it'll have emails it's really really awesome I'd say if you're a big sci-fi fan read that series moving into April the first book I want to talk about is starry eyes by Jen Bennett which comes out April 3rd this is about a group camping trip that goes wrong which leads to teens train together which I'm sure it's gonna be love and adorable I read Alex and I read Alex approximately about his author and I loved it it's just a really cute contemporary book that I am always up then we have a Reaper at the gate by sabah 2 here which comes out April 24th and this is the third book at the Emperor and the ashes series kind of like a Romanesque gladiator gladiator it's hard to explain this series it's fantasy but it's also very much set in the Roman type of world and it's really really good the world is so rich the characters are amazing I have favorite characters but we didn't have I think this book was supposed to 17 but it didn't so it's coming out this year and they've changed the covers yet again which is I'm not a huge fan of but I am a huge fan of this series so I'm excited to read it last book in April is Leah on the offbeat by becky albertalli which comes out April 24th this is pretty much follows Leah who was Simon's best friend and her other book site members as the Homo sapiens agenda' which I started to read so obviously I'm a theory that one before this one and yeah that's what this book is about so I don't know anything about Leah cuz I have read Simon yet but planning on it and I definitely plan to read this look in May I feel like May is always a really big month for book releases in why I feel like May and October or September are like our biggest months so the first book obviously is a court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J Maas which comes out May 1st this is the a novella book that's set and the court of thorns and roses were all but it's a develop but it's 256 pages so I feel like it's just a book of my it so no actually calls it a novella which I guess it probably is a novella comparing since it is Sarah J mask because her books are like and we're 500 - like 800 pages so I just have okay it's a novella follows Farah and Rhys and after the course of a court of wings and ruin so such long titles I mean rice and anymore rice and I'm there for so I'm a first is ninety nine days and nine nights by Katie could diagnose this is the sequel / companion I'm not sure if it's gonna be a sequel to 99 days which I read this year and I liked it I didn't love it but I'm interested to see what she's gonna do with the sequel because I do feel like it merits a sequel because she left it there very much open-ended so I found with Katie could have notebooks that they're not my favorite contemporary books but I really enjoyed her writing so and how quickly I can fly through the book on May 20 night there's a legendary by Stephenie Garber this is the second book in the car of all series and this is pretty much about two sisters that go to this thing or this island that's called car of all words like this elusive game and this all that crazy stuff and one of the sisters gets kidnapped by the ringmaster and the other sister has to find her so she has to go really deep into the world of karvall and experience it so this is gonna take place after the first book and I like the first book I didn't love it but I loved the way the author wrote about Cara Vaughn how rich and how just really vivid she wrote the world so and the covers again hey I'm interested in is listen to your heart by Casey West which also comes out on May 29th this is a better girl that gets involved with a podcast that is pretty much giving love advice to people and she becomes good at it and of course and sure Love's gonna come her way Casey wes is one of my favorite contemporary authors by far so very excited for this one going into June the first book I want to talk about is from twinkle with love bikes and on many I always pronounce her name wrong that comes out June 5th this is about twinkle who is an aspiring filmmaker and a Wallflower and then when a fellow film geek Sahil approaches her direct a movie into the summer festival he's very excited to do it plus it gets a plus it gets her closer to her longtime crush Neil ASA heels twin brother only the only problem is twinkles falling for Sahil what she should really be falling for Neil so it sounds adorable sounds great I love when diplomat Rishi so super excited for this one and we have another one my favorite contemporary authors Morgan Matson which is called save the date which is also coming out June 5th this is a wedding themed book about a grand Charlie whose older sister is coming into town to get married at her family's house before they sell it and it's pretty much pitched just like sixteen Candles which if you have watched that movie go watch it it's a classic Molly Ringwald movie like go watch that go out to pretty in pink and The Breakfast Club and have an amazing day but either way wedding movies is also sounds a lot like father of the bride too because they're getting married in the backyard so I mean 80s and ID's on there for so on June 5th which is problems seem to be a very busy day for publishing is roar by Korra Carmack the second book in the storm heart series is about people who can control storms like they can like manipulate them and they can Corral them and they can like pull gems from the storms and we follow our main character Aurora aka roar who is a princess only problem is she doesn't have the storm power she can not control storms so she kind of runs away gets in with the band of misfits to learn how to control storms and that's where goes so this is another surprise book for me that I was expecting to like but I ended up loving so super excited for the next book June 26 my Plain Jane is coming out this is written by Cynthia Han Jody Meadows and Brody action this is the companion novel to my lady Jane which was released in 2016 and it was one of my favorite books of the whole year it was so funny just hilarious so this is a funny retelling twist of Jane Eyre which is with a supernatural twist too so and my lady Jane there Jane who was a queen for like a week before I was off with her head so they decided to retell it and kind of give her a happier ending but it was hilarious and I expected this one it's gonna be just the same and I love these two girls together I think they're amazing other people come on and talk about comes out in June is another book written by Ruth where it just says book for and unknown June Ruth where as an adult mystery thriller author which I have yet to really love one of her novels but I just keep coming back to them because they're just quick and fast thrilling reads that I'm always interested in so I don't know this is gonna come out in June it's Lena did you love to see in July we have the last time I lied by Riley Sager which is the unknown July so we don't know when it's coming out this is in which a damaged young woman goes to the summer camp which she went to fifteen years ago where three of her friends had disappeared and never to be seen again Riley Sager also wrote final girls it's also a synonym Ethernet word so Riley Sager is not the actual author's name he's writing under another name of Riley Sager but I love final girls I thought it was a great thriller I think that's my favorite thriller of 2017 so very excited for this way so that's all I have for July like I said around June it gets kind of dicey I think in August the only thing I have is toilet trouble which is 16 tales of women and witchcraft which is coming out August 28th so you can guess it's another anthology all about witchcraft a woman and yeah that one September I do have some I have a couple obviously the biggest one obviously is throwing up glass number seven we don't know the title of it we don't know we do know what's coming out sent over forth this is written obviously by Sarah J Maas this is the last book in this series so this is a big big release so the covers can be relieved the cover is gonna be really soon as well as the title and I'm excited for it I will say I do like her court of thorns and roses series a little bit more than Thor a little bit more than throne of glass also in September is vengeful by the e Schwab who just got the release for the cover for which I am obsessed with that's the second book in the villain series is she supposed one of my favorite books the last year I was obsessed with that book I love the each was writing so very very much looking forward to this one so I don't have anything for October or November there's just not really any books that are released right now that we know about of course it's gonna change obviously soon but as of right now I don't know anything December the last book I have is clean of air in darkness by Cassandra Clare this is the third book in the dark artifice a series which is one of her many men series of Shadowhunters and I'm just a sucker for honestly he's so yeah and the one book I have that has an unknown date we don't know anything about it that's probably a lot of books are probably the second book in the renegade series probably the another book in three dark crown series by Katara Blake the muse of nightmares by Laini Taylor which is the second book and these stories of the dreamer series I mean there are so many sequels that have yet to be put a date on and also the title so I'm not sure your guess is as good as mine either way those are all the books I am anticipating for 2018 a lot of them so I'm sure I'd miss some like I said please let me know down in the comments which books you were looking most forward to in 2018 and I would love to hear 2018 some listen it'd be an amazing year for reading and I cannot wait to read every single one of these books so if you enjoyed this video be sure to give it a thumbs up hit subscribe and I will see you guys in the next one\n"
