The Art of Shaving: A Movember Challenge

I'm going to be honest, I've always sat there like a little creeper watching me make coffee. For those of you who have ever made coffee, you'll probably know that I kind of gave up halfway through filming the terrible coffee filming sequence because the biggest problem with filming a sequence of you making coffee is that you most likely haven't had coffee yet so you couldn't be asked to do anything but anyway let's go to the bathroom and let's go shave the face.

Now this is almost definitely going to be the worst ever and over this tech stuff video because it's like in the morning I just woke up and at this point I'm just like a human body that's waiting for its brain to wake up, I've only got like a sip of coffee at me. Anyway I have to shave this thing and I'm problem thinking of growing a mustache for Movember right because it's Movember you need a moustache going so yeah I'm gonna I'm gonna shave a mustache and well I'm not gonna shave a mustache I'm gonna shave everything that I'm gonna grow a mustache now the biggest problem with this is the fact that I have a pretty weird mustache, this little bit of hair missing in the middle of my mustache and yeah it's actually I've got like the opposite of a Hitler mustache so I don't know how well it's gonna work.

We're gonna shave it all off and you know then we're gonna grow in a mustache so now I have to shave this thing off my face enough now you know when you have a longer beard like this you can't just use a razor and I shave it down because well that's just Savage so I'm gonna use a beard trimmer first and I'm gonna trim it down really low and then and then I'm actually gonna shave it so that we have like a clean shave. Now I haven't had a cleanly shaven face since I've lived and worked in Japan because there you have to if you're working in Japan you have to be King me shave, I don't know if I'm giving way too much information about myself as a human being here.

Anyway, I've got my face cleanly shaved let me just look in a mirror I don't look good without a beard, I'm probably gonna have to be I'm probably gonna have to have a beard for the rest of my life now let's move on to the actual Movember part of this video so the challenge is to see how majestic of a mustache or beard or whatever you can grow in one month. Now I'm gonna go with mustache and if any other kind of if anybody else wants to join me on this all you need to do is you go on to Movember z' website and you register an account and you set fundraising goals and things like that for your Movember run.

The reason that I went with this one is because I think that mental health is a huge problem in modern society and not everyone seeks help necessarily for it, you kind of feel down and you're not having a great time but we all just power ahead with it anyway. So if you do want to donate to this cause I'll actually have my Movember account linked in the description of this video set a fundraising goal of $1000 so if we as the dava this tech stuff community can reach that that would be really awesome, yeah.

I'm shave and I look like a very red little girl so yeah let's let's see how this goes let me take my jacket off I'm getting getting all nice and cozy on camera here I'm building building up to it wait maybe I should change camera angles I am legitimately terrified of doing not a huge fan of being clean shaven beard how's this I did I don't think this is a very good look for me to be honest now I'm just gonna shave everything off I'm not gonna show you what I look like with that moustache only because we're gonna have to wait 30 days until the end of November to see whether or not we can grow a decent mustache and I still don't think I can be honest let's finish the job see I mean if you've seen my earlier videos you'll know that this isn't a face that works very well without a beard but now it's short enough that I can actually shave it normally so now I'm actually going to give you a quick tip for those of you that haven't discovered this about shaving don't use shaving foam because shaving foam is a huge ripoff use this stuff instead it's called shaving soap now shaving soap is a bit more expensive than shaving foam and you do need like a face brush sure thing but the thing with shaving soap is that and this this this seam is really funny but this is actually a legitimately good piece of advice that I've kind of picked up over the years of pretending to shave this is infinite like I don't understand why this lasts as long as it does but I've only in my entire adult life of Shaving which has been I mean I don't shave a huge amount but I always shave my beard and this into shape and in Japan I spent two years shaving daily well by day me and the I've only ever bought two of these right shaving foam you use in like a month like a can of shaving foam just disappears this video should actually be sponsored by Dollar Shave Club I I don't know because I think they have shaving shaving soap I'm not sure I don't know what the quality of their shaving soap is though this this is really really good stuff and like I said this like the amount that still that's been used in this tub I've been using this for a year now actually for more than a year see and it makes a really nice this feels so weird to be filming this but see it makes like a really nice lather as well why am I trying to sell you on safe shaving so anyway I have a really weird beard because the like direction that I need to shave in is the same over my entire beard but like here there's a patch where it grows in a different direction so I have to shave sideways where is everybody
