**Apple Releases iOS 12.2 Beta 6 and AirPods with Wireless Charging Case**
The tech world is abuzz with excitement as Apple releases its latest update to iOS, version 12.2 beta 6. This update brings several new features and improvements, including support for wireless charging cases like the AirPods. In this article, we'll take a closer look at what's new in iOS 12.2 beta 6 and how it affects your devices.
**AirPods with Wireless Charging Case**
One of the most significant updates is the release of AirPods with a wireless charging case. This feature is expected to make life easier for users who want to keep their earbuds charged on the go. The wireless charging case allows you to charge your AirPods without having to plug them into a power source, making it ideal for people who are always on the move. With this update, you can expect seamless connectivity and a convenient way to keep your earbuds powered up.
**Siri Functionality**
Another feature that's been improved is Siri functionality. The new update includes support for Siri's "Hey Siri" feature, which allows you to trigger Siri with just your voice. This means you don't have to say anything out loud to wake up Siri; simply saying "Hey Siri" will activate her and perform various tasks.
**Wireless Charging**
iOS 12.2 beta 6 also includes support for wireless charging, which is expected to be a game-changer for users who want to charge their devices without having to plug them into a power source. This feature works seamlessly with the AirPods' wireless charging case and should provide a convenient way to keep your devices charged on the go.
**iOS 12.2 Beta 6 Review**
The YouTube community has been weighing in on iOS 12.2 beta 6, and the consensus is that it's a solid update. In a poll, 26% of respondents said they thought the update was great, while 5% said it was terrible. The majority of users, however, are waiting to see if the final version is released soon.
**Device Feedback**
Users have been sharing their experiences with iOS 12.2 beta 6, and the feedback is mixed. Some devices, such as the iPhone 6s and iPhone SE, have reported issues with battery life and performance. However, many users, including those using the iPhone 7 Plus and iPad Pro 11-inch, have said that the update has been smooth sailing.
**Device-Specific Feedback**
Some users have shared specific feedback about their devices:
* "I've had great improvements in battery life on my iPhone 10S."

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi everyone Aaron here for Zolo tech & iOS 12 point 2 beta 6 has been out for a little while now and I've been running it on my iphone 10 R and quite a few other devices as well now on this particular device I've been using this the past few days because well I had a little incident with my iPhone 10s of Mac's if you haven't seen my follow-up to the 10s max be sure to check that out you'll see what happened and then I've got a follow-up to that as well so I've been running it on my iphone 10 R I also have it on a 6s plus right here and it is on the 5s and some other devices as well now I did do a YouTube community pull so we'll take a look at that and a little bit to see what you had to say about how it's going for your devices but I did read all of that and take that into consideration when I was seeing what kind of bugs we have with this particular update now beta 6 for me has been mostly good the main issue I have with this has to do with notifications and I'm just not getting them most of the time on this particular device they're actually turned on on most things I turn them off during the videos but most of the time they're turned on such as YouTube studio and they just don't come through maybe sometimes they will but then they'll show up on the 10s max which is kind of strange because there's hit or miss with that now the other thing with this particular update people are still having issues with LTE connectivity and at this point I tend to think it's a hardware issue even though some people say it's on older devices as well I have an experience that on older devices just the newer ones not so much lately but it still happens and I think that's due to the Intel modem and I'm tending to think it's more of a hardware issue as opposed to a software issue but hopefully they resolved that at some point they still have not really acknowledged it now as far as smoothness I have had no lock ups nothing here with scrolling settings does not freeze on me anymore I know some people were having that with beta 5 I haven't seen that with beta 6 and people have not told me that it's freezing with beta 6 so that part's really nice and most people with the exception of maybe one in the poll are having good battery life I've had pretty good battery life on this device this one has not been used as my main phone most of the time so you'll see it's at 100% and over the last 10 days see there's my usage and four hours 15 minutes I'll go to bed with about 50% life left or 40 or 50 percent so I'm getting about 8 to 9 hours of screen on time if you calculate that out to what I'm getting seems to be pretty good now on older devices here's the good thing about this beta is on older devices it seems to be fast and fluid the same as the new devices most people are not having issues with things like 3d touch seems to work if you have a plus device rotate to landscape works just fine and all of the apps are working well across all the platforms so people are not seeing any inconsistencies now it's the same and I know a lot of people say why don't you use the 7 and the 8 and those devices that's because the bugs are exactly the same across most devices so if you're using a 10 are a-10s Max or even a 5s it should be pretty stable at this point and speaking of it being stable they're probably going to release it here on the 25th so on the 25th is Apple's event for software and this past week was a really exciting week with the releases from new air pods and if we go to the store here you'll see in the store wait for it to load they updated everything from IMAX we've got some new iPads coming along iPad air iPad Mini we also have we go back here we also have some new watch bands as far as colors go we also have some new cases as well no new ipod touch yet new cases here for a spring collection none of these are available in the story yet though and we're waiting for more of this to be available but there's some new iPad air air pods with the new wireless charging case that is the air pods -
