"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: en(jazz music and IBM Model F keyboard sounds)It's that time again, somehow.Time for another Sims 4 stuff pack!This one being \"Cool Kitchen Stuff\"the third stuff pack for the Sims 4.Uh, let's get real here for a secondThis is the third stuff pack for the Sims 4 to come out in three months.At this rate, we're gonna have, what, 12 per year?120 dollars worth of stuff packs to get every year for the Sims 4 for however many years?This is, uh, a little crazy actually.They're definitely seeming to be replacing the store packs with the stuff packs, and that's a little weird.Just a little bit, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun with it.So, I've devised a little game that I like to call \"The Sims 4 Hangman.\"Audience, I would like you to meet Ralph.Ralph, meet YouTube audience.Ralph is just your average Ralph, but poor Ralph is not longed for this world for you see for every stuff pack that comes out for the Sims 4 Ralph is going to lose a body part.So, for the three stuff packs so far we're going to get rid of his foot, uh, his tie, and also his left hand.Remember, it's not me doing this. It's EA and the Sims team.Ralph's early demise can be stopped with far fewer stuff packs in the future.The ball's in your court, guys.So, the big draw of \"Cool Kitchen Stuff\" is that you can fill your kitchen with stuff that presumably contains some amount of the quality referred to herein as \"cool.\"Well, that's vague enough.Either way, in this pack you get the followinga cabinet, a counter top, and matching islanda dining room table and various unusable clutter objects, a sink that looks that every other sinksome kind of booking holding thingthis thingthis thingcutlery you can't usea cutting board and spices you can't useand two chairsJust two of 'em?Did someone at Maxis fall asleep on the job?Alright.There's also one ceiling light, one refrigerator, one stove with an optional range hood, and one ice cream maker.The ice cream maker is the new game play feature added to this pack, and as usual by game play they really just mean a couple slightly tweeked animations.So, whip out your best Baskin Robbins cosplay and cream that ice, making use of an impressive list of flavors I've got to admit.After this, you can choose a garnish and a sauce and then chow down using either a bowl or a cone.Though really they may as well both be bowls since cones awkwardly sit right down on a table with no problem.So, I don't know how they're doing this, but that's okay.Who needs physics?Ice cream also gives sims endless ice cream headaches because they're stupid and have no restraintso prepare yourself for obnoxious sound effects galore.(sims groaning from brain freeze)You also get a dishwasher.Finally, no more peeing on the dishes to get them clean!Now you can plop them inside the dishwasheradding one of the most annoying chores of real life right into your game.And don't worry about taking them back out again because this is a magic dishwasherand all dishes are returned to the invisible and infinite dish cabinet once they're done.Oh, wait, dishwashers were added in a free patch you say?Well, forget I even mentioned it!You don't need this pack after all!Another reason not to need this pack is that for being called \"Cool Kitchen Stuff\" the majority of the content consists of clothing and other create-a-sim items.There's 22 objects I listed earlier, but 30 pieces of clothing, accessories, hairstyles, etc.So, I guess more accurately this pack is more about looking cool in the kitchen as opposed to your kitchen itself being cool.Makes sense to me except it doesn't.What the heck is this pack even for?!Ice cream?!That just makes your sim moan and get fat.Clothing?!That's nice, but you could have included that with any pack.Kitchen accessories?!Not a single object looks different enough from anything else you already have to begin with.The most appealing object is the dishwasherand as I said that's a freebie that you get even if you don't pay $10.And yes, 10 bucks is the price, as usual.which I'm sure some people will find decentbut I find this just to be pointless.And I know a kitchen stuff pack has been demanded by simmersmyself includedI like a good unique kitchen, and this is not what I had in mind at all.There's not even two dozen objectsmost of which are indistinguishable from stuff in the base gameand a bunch of clothing.I'm sorry, but not only does that make the title confusingbut this is just not one I can recommend at all.I would be totally on-board if it actually came with kitchen itemsthat at the very least looked unique.But, nope.It's most apparel and ice cream that makes your sim's head hurt every two seconds.To be honest, I'll probably use the new hairstyles more than anythingalthough I can't say that's worth $10 eitherwith the massive amount of free custom content out there.Oh, well.It's just another forgettable stuff packand what is sure to be an endless parade of them in the futureand frankly, I don't care enough to be offended anymore.Oh, but Ralph.Buddy, I hope your ready for what's to come.(outro music)And if you want to see what is to come next then perhaps you should subscribe to my channel.There are new videos every Monday and Fridayand plenty of Sim things arriving as wellAnd you can also just Twitter me and Facebook meand all those socially things that are onlineThat's other stuff that is nice for communicating.You can also back the show on Patreonif you'd like to see videos early and what not.And as always, thank you very much for watching!\n"
