PAC Ground Loop Isolator Unboxing - Cure the Static!

Unboxing and Opening the Pacific Accessory Corporation 3.5 Millimeter Ground Loop Isolator

Hello everyone, my name is Eposvox, and welcome to my unboxing of the Pacific Accessory Corporation 3.5 millimeter ground loop isolator. Now, what this device does is it takes an audio signal via the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, crowns it out, and then loops your signal back around, getting rid of any static interference that may be going on.

The radio in the back of the picture here and kind of what it's intended for is a really outdated concept of things like hooking up your even i'm gonna go as far back as tape deck or ipod or cd player to a car stereo and getting some you know static interference with it. Well, nowadays that issue is still present with computer PCs, and so for example my issue is i have a mixer board that runs from my main pc and then it has output going to my second pc which is my partner's pc which you know can be used to sync up video to record video on the second computer. Things like that the output going from the mixer to the main pc is USB, the output going from the mixer to the second computer is 3.5 millimeter from XLR.

There's a lot of static interference no matter what we've done done to try and ground out the actual power setup going still a lot of static hook up this in between, and it eliminates all of the static you get a clean crisp signal and it's not even like it you know if you tried getting rid of the static with noise reduction processes you're still going to get a washout signal. This literally grounds out the electricity while still allowing your signal to be crisp and clean and sound great, and it works fantastically. You literally just put it in between what you'd already be plugging in, and it does the work for you.

Yeah, yeah, all right, so like i said this is just an opening, so it's really quick, there's nothing major in it, and it's stapled shut but on the back it says since 1976 when the 8 track player was the ipod of the day pack has been manufacturing high quality and locks rock solid mobile electronic interfaces that satisfy even the most demanding customer. Our patented and award-winning products deliver performance and functionality you want and deserve no matter what the challenge, our deep engineering and manufacturing knowledge and experience produce solutions you can count on compatibility.

This product may have specific compatibility requirements to operate correctly in your automobile, please consult the sales associate blah blah obviously we're not using this for an automobile we're using this for computer games, and I'm using it with a Behringer 1832 USB mixer. Obviously that was the packaging, and then this is the ground loop isolator itself.

Now, a secondary use i will be having for this accessory, i guess you could call it, is going to be for my Nintendo 3ds out for the latest installment of the Pokemon games, I'm going to be recording my 3ds via 3ds capture board that was installed by a guy in Japan named Katsu Kitty and they put in the capture board and it connects via USB for the video and then you take the audio out of here however there's a lot of static in that audio how do we fix that, this it'll get rid of it just like with the mixer, this is your input this is your output, it probably is reversible but that's probably the best suggested use for it. It's got a nice like three foot cable already with it very lightweight won't take up a whole lot of space can just kind of hang there and it gets rid of the signal.

Hope you enjoyed my unboxing slash on pack opening guys thank you for watching as always like comment and subscribe, and I will see you guys next time in this. I'm telling you i got two of these, i may get more these will do great things for my channel in the future there are so many things i haven't been able to do because of the static my day has been saved, see you next time.
