The Art of Cooking: A Delightful Three Bean Mix Recipe

As we begin our culinary journey, let us start with a fundamental principle: breaking down complex recipes into manageable parts. In this case, we'll focus on creating a mouth-watering three bean mix that will surely become a staple in your kitchen. To kick-start the process, we'll start by browning some bacon.

Throw in five or six strips of bacon that I've chopped up and we'll just fry this up along with the beef now I don't want my bacon super super crispy but you know it's up to you you could fry it beforehand but I want that little bit of fat on there in light of that is really good fried up with the beef and this is smelling so good my friends that beef frying along with that bacon there is nothing nicer than the smell of frying bacon what's that song Sunday morning coming down oh no that was chicken not bacon at any rate next up we are going in with three cloves of chopped garlic and half a small chopped onion and we shall just stir and sauté this for about 2 or 3 minutes until that wonderful Aroma garlic fills the air and the onion is a little bit translucent.

This is where the magic begins, as we carefully introduce the aromatics to the dish. The combination of garlic and onion creates a depth of flavor that will complement our beef and bacon perfectly. Next, we'll add about 1/4 cup of slow-moving molasses well it ain't that slow cuz it's not January another 1/4 cup of ketchup and you know use any kind you want my personal preferences frenches but you know it's up to you a 1/4 cup of barbecue sauce I'm using stubs but you know you use your favorite barbecue sauce just my personal preferences anything with a bit of smoky flavor to it.

As we continue to build the flavors, we'll add about a tablespoon of prepared mustard totally optional but it does give it that zestiness a good dusting of chili powder I guess well morning a dusting about a teaspoon or two a few cracks of the old saltation you know half a teaspoon a teaspoon depending on how salty you want it and about another teaspoon of ground black pepper one my all-time favorite seasonings. With these ingredients combined, we now have the perfect base for our three bean mix.

It's time to add the star of the show: two mediumsized cans of beans in molasses oh yes even more molasses and don't drain these just add them in as is beans beans I love beans actually I would have made a really good hobo speaking of hobo we just made hobo Burgers hobo Burger packs if you haven't watched it maybe go back and watch that you might enjoy it all righty then our second beans are a white kidney beans and one can of these one medium can and drain these because they get a bit slimy if you don't and the last of the beans are red kidney beans and drain these as well because they do have those slime on them too. Once again, grab your spoon and kind of toss and mix everything together.

Notice in this case I'm using a softer spoon because I don't want a mush down those beans I mean let's face it there' be nothing worse than having a beautiful bean dish and having them all smushed and mushed yuck and believe me this dish will feed a whole black people so we're just going to let these simmer away I'd say for about 5 or 10 minutes reducing the heat to medium medium low then after about 5 or 10 minutes I'm going to grab up my beans and transfer them into a casserole dish because these are going into the oven all right go ahead and throw some foil over the top and this is going into a 350 F 180 C preheated oven for about half an hour or so.

After about 30 minutes, we're done, and it's time for the unveiling. Look at this guys doesn't this look incredible bubbling beans oh there is nothing better than bubbling beans and believe me this smells absolutely incredible wow and you know you could even pack these up and take them camping and reheat them over the fire tell some stories about the head sky around the fire pit whatever it might be and there you have it guys our beef bacon 3 Bean mix absolutely incredible everybody's going to love it and of course only as a suggestion you could serve these up with some burgers dogs or fresh French bread or bread of any kind oh oh oh yummy yummy yummy I mean a definite hit at the church party or the barbecue or the picnic whatever it might be.
