**November Reading List: Sequels Galore**
This month, I'm excited to dive into seven new book releases that are all sequels to previous titles. As an avid reader, I love exploring new series and catching up with beloved characters.
First up is "Devoted" by Hilary Duff, which is the sequel to her hit novel "Elixir". I really enjoyed "Elixir", despite some mixed reviews from critics, and I'm eager to see how Duff develops her story further. The cover art has been re-designed, but I still love the original design - it's just one of those things that can be hard to change, right?
Next, I'll be reading "Hades" by Alexander Ornetto, which is the sequel to his popular novel "Halo". I adored "Halo", and I'm excited to see how Ornetto builds on the world and characters he created. The story follows a similar premise to "Elixir", with an angelic protagonist falling in love - it's hard not to get drawn into these kinds of stories!
If you've already read "Across the Universe" by Beth Revis, then you know just how amazing this series is. And now, Revis is back with "A Million Suns", which is the sequel to my beloved first book in the series. I've heard great things about this one, and I'm excited to see how it compares to the original.
Another favorite of mine is Lauren D. Stefano's "Weather", which was a fantastic read despite not being my absolute favorite (I loved it, but didn't love it quite as much). The sequel, "Fever", has me intrigued - I've heard it involves some kind of carnival or festival setting, which sounds like it could be a lot of fun.
For those who may not know about the angel-themed novels in this list, I'll give you a brief rundown. Hilary Duff's series starts with "Elixir" and continues with "Devoted", while Alexander Ornetto's novel is part of a larger series that includes "Halo". Beth Revis' series begins with "Across the Universe" and concludes with "A Million Suns".
Cynthia Hand's "An Earthly" was another favorite read of mine (despite not being my absolute top choice). If you've enjoyed her style, then I think you'll love her latest novel, "Hollowed". The story is a continuation of some themes from "An Earthly", but it also introduces new elements and characters that I'm excited to explore.
I have to admit, I was a bit annoyed when I saw the re-design of Jerry Smith's cover art for his novel "Shine" - the original design was just so... cool! But despite this change, I remain excited to read this book, which is the final installment in the Shade trilogy. And because I know some of you have been asking me questions about the team loyalty issues (Wheel vs Gem), I'll be reading this one as soon as it's released.
Last but certainly not least, we have "Clockwork Prince" by Cassandra Clare, a prequel to her popular Mortal Instruments series. This one has generated a lot of buzz among readers, and I'm eager to dive into the world and characters that Clare created over a decade ago. And because some of you have been asking me about my allegiance (Wheel vs Gem), I'll be making sure to stay true to myself when it comes to this decision.
Rounding out the list are two more novels: "The Kill Order" by James Dashner, which is part of The Maze Runner series that I've heard is absolutely amazing (I'm going to have to bump you up in line if I don't get to these next!). And finally, we have "Shadow Kiss", the third installment in Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy series - a favorite of mine despite being a bit of a cliffhanger when I finished it.
**The Bottom Line**
That's all for now - my November reading list is full of exciting new releases and sequels to beloved novels. From angelic protagonists to mysterious carnival settings, there's something for everyone in this list. Stay tuned for reviews, and don't forget to vote on which two books you'd like me to prioritize!

world where if you're over or under a certain age you can see ghosts and you can talk to them and the reason why ghosts are here is because they haven't passed on yet there's some prolonging doubt or things they need to deal with like you know finally seeing somebody or so and so so usually like younger people will help out and older people can't see them at all and it's all about that and then shade um the main character i totally forgot her name her boyfriend logan i don't know his name dies and he comes back as a ghost and it deals with all that and this one kind of the second book kind
