This Smart Lock Has One Feature That Beats Out the Competition

Using the Yuffie Security Smart Lock: A Hands-On Review

As I can say that this is the best smart lock we've used from the installation to setting up the application everything worked really well it was very simple to understand and it did what it said it would do. Now, I think this is really great because it doesn't have a ton of features sometimes when devices have too many features it makes it so some don't work really well but this had the right amount to make it a really high quality device with enough features to be really useful without adding a bunch of stuff that makes it slower.

One feature I really like about this smart lock is the auto timers. I love that I can have it automatically lock after 9 pm all by itself without me having to do anything and then when I use the lock after 9 pm it will automatically lock instead of all day long just locking every time somebody used the door. We have a lot of traffic going in and out of the door so having it lock every time just gets really annoying so it's great that there is a schedule where I can set it so after nine it's going to lock and then in the morning it's not going to automatically unlock but once somebody does start using the door after the set time it's great that it doesn't keep locking.

Another feature that works well with this smart lock is its ability to know if the door is closed. I don't need to add another door sensor or anything so I would keep the door open when it's supposed to automatically lock it wouldn't lock as soon as you shut the door. If I had the lock set for one second, boom it would lock like every time I never had it lock when it shouldn't be locked it only locked if the door was shut which is something that the competitor can't say that they do.

I also want to mention some things that didn't work as great for me. One thing is the fingerprints on the pin pad. So, if you are typing in your pin it's going to pick up those fingerprints so if you're using that a lot just know there's going to be some smudges on there. This can be frustrating when you want to use the fingerprint scanner but get smudged prints.

Another thing that didn't work great is sharing codes with others. If I want to like send a code to somebody to get in maybe you want a one-time access code where you can unlock to come in your home this isn't great for that if you're not connected to the device. So, if I'm at home I can go in and add pin codes and I can help others set up the fingerprint which work great but if I want to just use this as like an Airbnb situation or something like that it's not going to work great because you would have to authenticate each user by scanning the QR code and then there was that time where it let them still unlock it even though I removed them. So, I don't know what's happening there.

One thing that is better about this smart lock compared to another competitor is its ability to share codes more easily. As an admin, I'm the only one that has access to adjust the sharing so I'm the only one that can add more people to it or add pin codes if I share the app with somebody else they have the option to unlock and lock it but they can't add different access. So, this is really cool.

In conclusion, using the Yuffie Security Smart Lock has been a great experience for me. The auto timers are one of my favorite features as they make the smart lock do exactly what I want it to do without having to intervene. The speed of this device is also impressive as it is way faster than any other smart lock that I've used in comparison.

To help potential customers, I would recommend using this smart lock if you're looking for a high-quality device with enough features to be really useful but not too many features that make some of them useless. The fingerprint scanner works flawlessly and so far every time I have tried it the kids have tried it has worked flawlessly which is really really important.

Thank you so much for watching. We'll see you on the next one!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enso we've been using the lockley secure pro for the last few months and it's been a really great smart lock the main functions we need is we want to go on a walk we want to go out just because we're not going many other places come home it's nice that we can easily unlock it with our fingerprint or the pin genie technology well some of the main reasons i bought this were to use it with my smart home and sadly just because of the way my home is set up that's not working out really great so we've never really used that functionality so it's time to try out a new smart lock so anker reached out to me to test out their new ufe security smart lock now they say that this smart lock fingerprint can unlock faster than any other smart lock so we're going to compare this with the lockley secure pro see if it is faster now one thing about this is it doesn't have smart home integration so it is bluetooth only but i like that it has the fingerprint and the pin code right on the screen and so this will just replace a deadbolt and turn it smart so we're going to unbox it set it up and see everything it can do let's get started hey everybody welcome to tech with brett where i help tech work for you so anker did provide this for today's review so looking at it this does have bhma certified so it's a high quality product it's also ip65 weatherproof and then here it says you can unlock with bluetooth water resistant and it recognizes your fingerprint within 0.3 seconds so over here you can use the app to unlock as well that's available on android and ios and then here on the back it talks about some of the other differences that it has so here you have incident unlock built in bluetooth chip locks automatically so the internal door sensor will automatically lock the door weather resistant built to last so 250 000 rounds of testing emergency unlock plug so if it runs out of power you are able to still unlock it security you can trust so it is encrypted and your fingerprints um right here it says your fingerprints remain private so those are actually locally stored on the device they're not uploaded or anything to the cloud and it is highly durable so here it says everything that's in the box so let's look inside all right so here we have some instructions and it looks like it tells about a few different steps in here we also get stickers and our user manual and here is the yuffie security smart lock it has a pretty good size and i do really like this color so here it says that'll be step three and over here step five so this will be what goes on the inside where you can lock and unlock it and this is where the batteries are stored in there and the rest of the steps are down here let's get to it so first we do need to remove our old deadbolt if you have an old style deadbolt it's going to be easy um here removing the lock lisa crew pro took a bit of work now the hardest part of removing this was getting the sticky pad off of the door i was trying really hard not to hurt the paint at all but it looks like i failed so hopefully the new lock will cover that up but uh just be careful if you're removing a lock like this so the first step is to install the deadbolt so this is pretty simple to install it looks like i will have to chisel out a bit of the wood so that it can sit flush and then depending on how far back set your door is you will need to change whether you rotate this 180 degrees or not for my case once i have that set in properly i won't need to have it rotated and with those two screws the deadbolt is now installed step two is to install the strike plate so it comes with a strike plate and a strike plate reinforcer that has some pretty hefty screws that can really secure this to your door frame so i'm just going to use the existing holes that i have here for the previous strike plate i was using and then i'm going to test to make sure the deadbolt works by closing it and opening it and it is able to do that smoothly next we are going to install the exterior assembly so previously i bored out my hole and my deadbolt 2 and 1 8 inch but the cool part about the eufy smart lock is it works with two and one eight and one and one half so if you want to use one and one half you just need to take off this plastic piece and then it will go on but since i do have two and one eighth i'm going to keep it in and then we just need to slide the cable underneath the deadbolt here and then we need to align the tailpiece with the center of the deadbolt hole and slide it through and it looks like we're just barely able to cover up the paint no harm done for step four we're going to install the mounting plate so all we need to do is slide the cable through here and then align the holes and screw it in now i really like how during this install everything is labeled here you can see it's labeled step four and even on the little bags it says what the bags are for so that it's very clear on how to install this now when screwing this in make sure you align the exterior assembly and the mounting plate with your door so everything looks nice and even now when screwing this in i may have screwed it in a little bit too far so i decided that i should put another screw right here because it was coming off the door a little bit here on the top so i decided to screw this in so it was nice and flush all right next we're going to install the interior assembly so this is pretty easy so all we needed to do was fit in the cable and then we need to align this with the tail piece and then place it on and then we'll just use three different screws to install this onto the mounting plate these screws were pretty little but it came with a few extras in case one goes missing it also has a plug for the bottom screw hole so that fits in really nicely next is to install the four double a batteries that came with the smart lock i was pretty impressed by that once we have the batteries in place we now need to head into the ufe security application to set up the smart lock add a device scrolling through here you can see the smart lock touch is this specific deadbolt we're going to allow to take a picture so that we can then take a picture of the qr code and link that up with the application now when you do that it does take you through the steps to install this but since we already did that i can just select i have finished the installation now we need to long press the button to set up the smart lock ready to set up we heard the prompt and now it is connecting over bluetooth next it wants us to make sure that we close the door and it's going to calibrate which way our lock is facing so this could be on either side and it's automatically going to determine that calibration and now it is asking us where our door is so this is the front door and now we're going to choose a passcode so this will be the admin passcode that you would use to lock and unlock the door and now it's asking us to set up a fingerprint but i'm going to skip this for now and do that process in a bit and now we are done setting up the smart lock now the next step is to add the cover for the batteries there's no screw or anything so you just slide that right on now there's only one thing left to do all right now it's installed now there are three different ways in which you can get into your smart lock so the first way is to use the key that comes with it so you do get five sets here pretty simple to use all you need to do is pull off this little cap for the key and then you are able to use the key in here and these are pretty hefty industrial keys and then you turn like that and you are able to get into the door and then you can cover it up with the cylinder cover when you are done and i like that the cylinder cover locks on and so it's not moving when you open or close the door now next you have the pin code option so this is pretty simple you type in your pin code and then you hit the check mark here and it will unlock the door and then you can use your fingerprint so you just place your fingerprint here it will then unlock the door and you can enter now if you want to lock the door you could use the key or you can also just put in your pin code again you can put in your fingerprint you can also make it so you can hold down this button for one touch locking so now i have controls to easily lock and unlock it right here from the app so i can drag to lock it there it locked if i want to unlock it swipe again so now let's go ahead and add my fingerprint so i'm just going to head back into the application it's going to connect over bluetooth to the front door so now let's go ahead and manage access so here we have me so then we're going to select fingerprint and now to add a fingerprint i need to place my finger on eight different times now it recommends your thumb your index finger or your middle finger and move it around a little bit and then it will show you how many times it's recognized that as we go so we're gonna hit add new print and we're gonna select start enrollment and now we're just going to press so i heard it beep and i see the numbers change as i'm doing this and there you go it has now been set up so it looks like you could add multiple fingers as well now you can have up to 100 different users on one ufe door lock so now that it recognizes me if i want to lock it i can use my pin to lock it or i can put in my fingerprint so right now it is unlocked so if i want to lock it there i heard it lock doesn't work unlock it and it unlocks and that is pretty fast now let's go ahead and add the rest of my family it does recommend that you can do this for kids from five to seventy it says if they're under or older than those ages most likely you want to use the pin code as the fingerprints change so often it may not work very well to use a fingerprint for that age so let's go ahead and give access to the rest of my family and it looks like when you give access to other people you do have the option to allow them to always unlock the door or only a certain amount of time maybe you have somebody cleaning or something that you want to give them access you could set a certain schedule they're only allowed at a certain time which is really cool so let's go ahead have carrie create a code and then put in her password it lit up the pad every time he did it so you knew how many times you did it isn't that it's cool i like that i like it go ahead boom okay bye next don't push so hard this is better than the other doorbell it won't listen to me okay go ahead go in the door now try did it work what she did i unlocked it and locked it but why is it funny because she was so excited because the other one didn't work for you did it i think you were too young but now it says five-year-olds can do it so let's go ahead and check out some of the other settings in the app so down here you do have an option to see locked events so this is where you can see all the times it was locked and unlocked and it will even let you know by who so that's really cool but if we go into the settings here so here it shows your door lock you can change the name and there you can see the battery life next we have an auto lock option so is what you can do is you can have it auto lock whenever you shut the door so let's turn that on and then you can have it set after one second or three minutes so let's go ahead and try that now so let's go back so there it automatically logged that's pretty awesome so let's go ahead unlock it and let's go and turn off auto lock now next there is an option for schedule this is actually really cool so i've always wanted a lock that will automatically lock at 10 pm so i don't have to do that so i'm going to go ahead and set that i'm going to choose 10 pm right there and then in the morning i'm going to choose 8 am so how this works is during the schedule if you unlock the door it will automatically log so at 10 pm at night if i leave the house unlock the door i shut the door it will automatically lock but then at 8 am in the morning it won't automatically unlock if after 8 am we unlock the door it will then stay unlocked until the schedule starts again that night now is how this auto lock feature works is there is a sensor in the door and it can detect if the door is open or closed so if you leave the door open it's not going to lock but as soon as you shut the door it will then lock after the amount of time that you have stated for it to lock now this is really cool because here i'm even trying to pretend that i'm shutting the door and it did not automatically lock on me and there is no door sensor required so here as soon as i shut the door now it's then going to lock so this is great if you're going to take out the trash and leave the door open and you come back in and it's not going to automatically lock while the door is still open all right so next you have one touch locking so lock the door by long pressing on the lock or cancel button on the lock so that feature allows for this button to lock when you hold it down so there it automatically lock the door now next we have wrong try protection so this allows you to make it so that the smart lock locks out so nobody can use it after so many wrong attempts so here we have the option to change the wrong try attempts so if you wanted to set it so after three attempts incorrect it will then lock it out or you can change it up to ten that's really nice if maybe you have a lot of kids they keep locking it out you could do more attempts and then here we have lockdown time when the limit of incorrect fingerprint unlock attempts is reached you can still unlock using your passcode when the limit of incorrect passcode attempts is reached both the fingerprint and the passcode will be locked down so lock down time you can set it from one to five minutes and now lock down it makes it so you can't use the fingerprint or the pin code until that lockdown time is over there's no way to completely block it out it will just reset and then you can keep trying your pin code again next we have scramble passcode so if you turn this on is what you can do is um if somebody's watching you instead of typing in your passcode and then see the passcode you could type in random numbers and then type in your passcode so it says no more than a total of 12 digits in total so your passcode could be four to eight digits and then you can type in four random numbers and then your passcode and that would make it so they don't know your passcode now this is one benefit the pin genie had where it adjusted the numbers but i think that's pretty cool that you do have the scramble password option on here next we have lock sound so you can turn off the sound when it locks or you can change the volume so you can go low medium high here's what that would sound like at the different levels this will also adjust the volume of the beeps that you will hear when somebody types in their pin code next you have lock calibration so if you set it up and it was incorrect it can automatically adjust to go the other way so maybe it's not properly locking the right way you would be able to recalibrate it with this another benefit of this lock i had so many problems with that on the lockley secure pro because i had installed it incorrectly anyway so that's really cool that that allows you to do that and then down here you have the option to update the firmware that's already up to date and device info so pretty simple now i added my family earlier but what if you want to give somebody more full access so here in the settings you can add family and guests and so when you invite them you can add them as an admin where they get full privileges or you can add them as a guest for both of these they will need to download the ufe security application here i'm going to choose my smart lock and then i'm going to invite them over a specific email address now once you have invited them and they have downloaded the app and created an account with that email they will then need to scan the qr code from your phone to be able to gain access to the smart lock now you do need to be connected to your smart lock during this process so in the app it will then show your smart lock and then they will need to scan the qr code to verify that they get access to the device so now they can use their phone to be able to quickly lock and unlock as a guest they don't have access to ad pin codes or anything like that so it's nice if you just want to be able to give access just temporarily and then if you want to remove them you can just head into the app while you're connected and remove them so that they no longer are able to unlock your door now i found that this worked pretty well but while i was doing this even though i've removed access i'm still able to lock and unlock it on this other phone it wasn't until i refreshed that that went away so i don't know if i just didn't wait long enough but that was a really interesting thing that happened all right it is now time to get to the speed test versus the lockley secure pro but first here is a size comparison between the lockley secure pro and the uv security smart lock first up the lockley secure pro if you have a door like mine it's kind of hard to reach smooth move with the locking action now let's check out the yuffie smart lock i don't know that was a close call let's take a look side by side instant replay i don't know that's a pretty close call the ufe security smartlock did read it faster but the lockley secure pro unlocked faster so let me know who you think is the winner in the comments below when using the smart lock at night it does illuminate once you touch the keypad so the numbers are nice and bright and easy to see and you have the blue on the fingerprint when it recognizes you and it turns red when it does not now when it's dark on the inside it is a bit hard to tell if it's locked or unlocked from a distance if there was a little white dot on the locked part of the thumb turn that would be nice but overall we really love the look of this smart lock as you heard earlier my wife loved how easy it was and it matches our new door knobs perfectly now after using the ufe security smart lock for a few days i can say that this is the best smart lock that we have used from the installation to setting up the application everything worked really well it was very simple to understand and it did what it said it would do now i think this is really great because it doesn't have a ton of features sometimes when devices have too many features it makes it so some don't work really well but this had the right amount to make it a really high quality device with enough features to be really useful without adding a bunch of stuff that makes it slower now talking about some of the things that i would like to see improved or that didn't work as great first the fingerprints on the pin pad so if you are typing in your pin it's going to pick up those fingerprints so if you're using that a lot just know there's going to be some smudges on there now the second thing is this didn't work great if you want to like send a code to somebody to get in maybe you want a one-time access code where you can unlock to come in your home this isn't great for that if you're not connected to the device so if i'm at home i can go in and add pin codes and i can help others set up the fingerprint which work great but if i want to just use this as like an airbnb situation or something like that it's not going to work great because you would have to authenticate each user by scanning the qr code and then there was that time where it let them still unlock it even though i removed them so i don't know what's happening there so i would say the lockley secure pro is better in that one instance in allowing you to share codes more easily i do like however that as an admin i'm the only one that has access to adjust the sharing so i'm the only one that can add more people to it or add pin codes if i share the app with somebody else they have the option to unlock and lock it but they can't add different access so that's really cool now some of the things that i really really like about this smart lock one the auto timers i love that i can have it automatically lock after 9 pm all by itself without me having to do anything and then when i use the lock after 9 pm it will automatically lock instead of all day long just locking every time somebody used the door we have a lot of traffic going in and out of the door so having it lock every would lock like every time i never had it lock when it shouldn't be locked it only locked if the door was shut which is something that the competitor can't say that they do now as for the speed now yuffie did say that this is way faster than any other smart lock now during the comparison it was like the same as the lockley secure pro so really that's not a huge issue just because it's like so close i don't even know um if it was faster or slower if it was a tie it was just right there so really not an issue as long as every time i use the fingerprint scanner it is able to unlock that and so far every time i have tried it the kids have tried it it has worked flawlessly which is really really important so if you have any further questions about the yuffie security smart lock please let me know in the comments below and if you'd like to pick one up i'll also leave a link to it in the description below and if you want to check out some of the other devices by yuffie security i'll leave a link to my smart doorbell review over here on the side thank you so much for watching we'll see you on the next oneso we've been using the lockley secure pro for the last few months and it's to the front door so now let's go ahead and manage access so here we have me so then we're going to select fingerprint and now to add a fingerprint i need to place my finger on eight different times now it recommends your thumb your index finger or your middle finger and move it around a little bit and then it will show you how many times it's recognized that as we go so we're gonna hit add new print and we're gonna select start enrollment and now we're just going to press so i heard it beep and i see the numbers change as i'm doing this and there you go it has now been set up so it looks like you could add multiple fingers as well now you can have up to 100 different users on one ufe door lock so now that it recognizes me if i want to lock it i can use my pin to lock it or i can put in my fingerprint so right now it is unlocked so if i want to lock it there i heard it lock doesn't work unlock it and it unlocks and that is pretty fast now let's go ahead and add the rest of my family it does recommend that you can do this for kids from five to seventy it says if they're under or older than those ages most likely you want to use the pin code as the fingerprints change so often it may not work very well to use a fingerprint for that age so let's go ahead and give access to the rest of my family and it looks like when you give access to other people you do have the option to allow them to always unlock the door or only a certain amount of time maybe you have somebody cleaning or something that you want to give them access you could set a certain schedule they're only allowed at a certain time which is really cool so let's go ahead have carrie create a code and then put in her password it lit up the pad every time he did it so you knew how many times you did it isn't that it's cool i like that i like it go ahead boom okay bye next don't push so hard this is better than the other doorbell it won't listen to me okay go ahead go in the door now try did it work what she did i unlocked it and locked it but why is it funny because she was so excited because the other one didn't work for you did it i think you were too young but now it says five-year-olds can do it so let's go ahead and check out some of the other settings in the app so down here you do have an option to see locked events so this is where you can see all the times it was locked and unlocked and it will even let you know by who so that's really cool but if we go into the settings here so here it shows your door lock you can change the name and there you can see the battery life next we have an auto lock option so is what you can do is you can have it auto lock whenever you shut the door so let's turn that on and then you can have it set after one second or three minutes so let's go ahead and try that now so let's go back so there it automatically logged that's pretty awesome so let's go ahead unlock it and let's go and turn off auto lock now next there is an option for schedule this is actually really cool so i've always wanted a lock that will automatically lock at 10 pm so i don't have to do that so i'm going to go ahead and set that i'm going to choose 10 pm right there and then in the morning i'm going to choose 8 am so how this works is during the schedule if you unlock the door it will automatically log so at 10 pm at night if i leave the house unlock the door i shut the door it will automatically lock but then at 8 am in the morning it won't automatically unlock if after 8 am we unlock the door it will then stay unlocked until the schedule starts again that night now is how this auto lock feature works is there is a sensor in the door and it can detect if the door is open or closed so if you leave the door open it's not going to lock but as soon as you shut the door it will then lock after the amount of time that you have stated for it to lock now this is really cool because here i'm even trying to pretend that i'm shutting the door and it did not automatically lock on me and there is no door sensor required so here as soon as i shut the door now it's then going to lock so this is great if you're going to take out the trash and leave the door open and you come back in and it's not going to automatically lock while the door is still open all right so next you have one touch locking so lock the door by long pressing on the lock or cancel button on the lock so that feature allows for this button to lock when you hold it down so there it automatically lock the door now next we have wrong try protection so this allows you to make it so that the smart lock locks out so nobody can use it after so many wrong attempts so here we have the option to change the wrong try attempts so if you wanted to set it so after three attempts incorrect it will then lock it out or you can change it up to ten that's really nice if maybe you have a lot of kids they keep locking it out you could do more attempts and then here we have lockdown time when the limit of incorrect fingerprint unlock attempts is reached you can still unlock using your passcode when the limit of incorrect passcode attempts is reached both the fingerprint and the passcode will be locked down so lock down time you can set it from one to five minutes and now lock down it makes it so you can't use the fingerprint or the pin code until that lockdown time is over there's no way to completely block it out it will just reset and then you can keep trying your pin code again next we have scramble passcode so if you turn this on is what you can do is um if somebody's watching you instead of typing in your passcode and then see the passcode you could type in random numbers and then type in your passcode so it says no more than a total of 12 digits in total so your passcode could be four to eight digits and then you can type in four random numbers and then your passcode and that would make it so they don't know your passcode now this is one benefit the pin genie had where it adjusted the numbers but i think that's pretty cool that you do have the scramble password option on here next we have lock sound so you can turn off the sound when it locks or you can change the volume so you can go low medium high here's what that would sound like at the different levels this will also adjust the volume of the beeps that you will hear when somebody types in their pin code next you have lock calibration so if you set it up and it was incorrect it can automatically adjust to go the other way so maybe it's not properly locking the right way you would be able to recalibrate it with this another benefit of this lock i had so many problems with that on the lockley secure pro because i had installed it incorrectly anyway so that's really cool that that allows you to do that and then down here you have the option to update the firmware that's already up to date and device info so pretty simple now i added my family earlier but what if you want to give somebody more full access so here in the settings you can add family and guests and so when you invite them you can add them as an admin where they get full privileges or you can add them as a guest for both of these they will need to download the ufe security application here i'm going to choose my smart lock and then i'm going to invite them over a specific email address now once you have invited them and they have downloaded the app and created an account with that email they will then need to scan the qr code from your phone to be able to gain access to the smart lock now you do need to be connected to your smart lock during this process so in the app it will then show your smart lock and then they will need to scan the qr code to verify that they get access to the device so now they can use their phone to be able to quickly lock and unlock as a guest they don't have access to ad pin codes or anything like that so it's nice if you just want to be able to give access just temporarily and then if you want to remove them you can just head into the app while you're connected and remove them so that they no longer are able to unlock your door now i found that this worked pretty well but while i was doing this even though i've removed access i'm still able to lock and unlock it on this other phone it wasn't until i refreshed that that went away so i don't know if i just didn't wait long enough but that was a really interesting thing that happened all right it is now time to get to the speed test versus the lockley secure pro but first here is a size comparison between the lockley secure pro and the uv security smart lock first up the lockley secure pro if you have a door like mine it's kind of hard to reach smooth move with the locking action now let's check out the yuffie smart lock i don't know that was a close call let's take a look side by side instant replay i don't know that's a pretty close call the ufe security smartlock did read it faster but the lockley secure pro unlocked faster so let me know who you think is the winner in the comments below when using the smart lock at night it does illuminate once you touch the keypad so the numbers are nice and bright and easy to see and you have the blue on the fingerprint when it recognizes you and it turns red when it does not now when it's dark on the inside it is a bit hard to tell if it's locked or unlocked from a distance if there was a little white dot on the locked part of the thumb turn that would be nice but overall we really love the look of this smart lock as you heard earlier my wife loved how easy it was and it matches our new door knobs perfectly now after using the ufe security smart lock for a few days i can say that this is the best smart lock that we have used from the installation to setting up the application everything worked really well it was very simple to understand and it did what it said it would do now i think this is really great because it doesn't have a ton of features sometimes when devices have too many features it makes it so some don't work really well but this had the right amount to make it a really high quality device with enough features to be really useful without adding a bunch of stuff that makes it slower now talking about some of the things that i would like to see improved or that didn't work as great first the fingerprints on the pin pad so if you are typing in your pin it's going to pick up those fingerprints so if you're using that a lot just know there's going to be some smudges on there now the second thing is this didn't work great if you want to like send a code to somebody to get in maybe you want a one-time access code where you can unlock to come in your home this isn't great for that if you're not connected to the device so if i'm at home i can go in and add pin codes and i can help others set up the fingerprint which work great but if i want to just use this as like an airbnb situation or something like that it's not going to work great because you would have to authenticate each user by scanning the qr code and then there was that time where it let them still unlock it even though i removed them so i don't know what's happening there so i would say the lockley secure pro is better in that one instance in allowing you to share codes more easily i do like however that as an admin i'm the only one that has access to adjust the sharing so i'm the only one that can add more people to it or add pin codes if i share the app with somebody else they have the option to unlock and lock it but they can't add different access so that's really cool now some of the things that i really really like about this smart lock one the auto timers i love that i can have it automatically lock after 9 pm all by itself without me having to do anything and then when i use the lock after 9 pm it will automatically lock instead of all day long just locking every time somebody used the door we have a lot of traffic going in and out of the door so having it lock every time just gets really annoying so it's great that there is a schedule where i can set it so after nine it's going to lock and then in the morning it's not going to automatically unlock but once somebody does start using the door after the set time it's great that it doesn't keep locking one other feature i really like about the auto lock is it knows if the door is closed you don't need to add another door sensor or anything so i would keep the door open when it's supposed to automatically lock it wouldn't lock as soon as you shut the door if i had the lock set for one second boom it would lock like every time i never had it lock when it shouldn't be locked it only locked if the door was shut which is something that the competitor can't say that they do now as for the speed now yuffie did say that this is way faster than any other smart lock now during the comparison it was like the same as the lockley secure pro so really that's not a huge issue just because it's like so close i don't even know um if it was faster or slower if it was a tie it was just right there so really not an issue as long as every time i use the fingerprint scanner it is able to unlock that and so far every time i have tried it the kids have tried it it has worked flawlessly which is really really important so if you have any further questions about the yuffie security smart lock please let me know in the comments below and if you'd like to pick one up i'll also leave a link to it in the description below and if you want to check out some of the other devices by yuffie security i'll leave a link to my smart doorbell review over here on the side thank you so much for watching we'll see you on the next one\n"
