Three Cool Tech Deals: Lou's Latest Amazon Finds
Hey guys, it's Lou here back with another video today, and I'm excited to share three cool tech deals that I've found on Amazon. It's been a while since I've done one of these updates, so I thought it was time to get back into the swing of things.
First up, we have something from a company called Mow - at least I hope I'm saying that correctly! This is a wide angle adapter for your iPhone or any phone, and what caught my attention here is the price. You can use this little clip-on for a number of different phones, and it includes a couple of different lens adapters. The idea behind this is to sort of change the way your photos look, with three lenses: Supreme fisheye that gives you that crazy skateboard video effect, just a regular wide angle, and macro that lets you take super wide photos or very close ones.
These adapters are mostly novelty - they're for fun, not meant to replace a DSLR camera. But hey, it's still cool to have the option to get a little different perspective on some photos, all for $15. And as an added bonus, since you'll have a wide angle adapter, you can now take pictures of yourself with somebody else in the frame - find a friend, make a friend, and now you've got room for a friend in your frame! So if you're feeling adventurous and want to try something new, maybe give this a shot.
Next up, we have an external battery pack from a company called Anker (not Ankore, as I mentioned earlier - Ankore is another name for the brand). This one is very large - 16,000 milliamp hours of power - and it has something called Power IQ technology. Now, I know what you're thinking: "What's Power IQ?" Well, it's basically a way to differentiate your various backup battery sources from one another. For example, this particular Anker power bank will fully charge an iPhone in about 2 hours and 30 minutes, or an iPad in about 3 hours.
It's interesting to note that some of these power banks can take significantly longer to charge up those devices that need juice. But with the Power IQ technology on board, you'll at least know how quickly your power bank is going to charge up your phone. And the best part? This power bank will work with a variety of devices, including tablets and smartphones, thanks to its two ports. With 16,000 milliamp hours of power, this bad boy will recharge your phone up to six times - pretty impressive if you ask me.
Now, I know what you're thinking: "Why is the list price $90, but it's only $37 now?" Well, let's just say these power banks are discounted on a regular basis. And while that might not be as much of a deal as it seems, I still think this one is a pretty good value at $37.
Last but certainly not least, we have the SanDisk Extreme CZ80 USB 3 flash drive. This thing has speeds up to 245 mbps over USB 3 - which is lightning-fast if you ask me! When you get a larger capacity USB key like this one, it's essential that it also has decent speed. You're not going to be transferring very small files with this baby, so make sure it's got the goods.
This drive comes in 64GB, 32GB, and 16GB capacities at various price points - so there's something for everyone. And as if all that weren't enough, this drive is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0. So if you've still got a friend who's stuck on an older laptop, don't worry: this drive will still work for you.
One of my favorite features about this drive is the retractable connector - see that action right there? It's like a built-in USB port that you can hide away when not in use. And because it's so small, it takes up less space in your bag or backpack than those clunky old flash drives from years ago. Plus, it's harder to lose - since it's all tucked away, you're less likely to misplace it.
So there you have it: these three cool tech deals that I've found on Amazon. Whether you're looking for a new way to take photos with your phone or just need a reliable power bank to keep your devices charged, I hope this helps inspire you to make a purchase.
