**The iPhone 11 Pro: A Camera-Focused Powerhouse**
In my last video, I teased you with some exciting news about the upcoming iPhone 11 Pro, and today I'm here to dive deeper into its features. As we all know, Apple has been playing catch-up in the camera game lately, but it seems like they've finally caught up with this latest flagship device.
**Efficient Battery Life**
One of the biggest selling points of the iPhone 11 Pro is its battery life. According to Apple, this phone will be able to last a full day and then some, thanks to an improved battery management system. I'm talking chip like we said in the iPhone 11 video, but it's much more efficient too, and that's where your battery games will come from. I mean, of course, I'll have to test these claims and put it to use and see how good it really is, but I'm really happy about those claims of much better battery life.
Speaking of power, the iPhone 11 Pro now comes with an 18-watt fast charger in the box, finally. iPhone Pro took a while for Apple to get that right, but if you want that fast charger in the box, the iPhone 11 is not going to get it. It's USB type-c to lightning, so yeah, step in the right direction.
**A Matte Finish and Display**
The matte finish on this phone is definitely something that I appreciate. It's a change of pace from the usual glossy screen we're used to seeing on iPhones. The display itself looks great, with vibrant colors and a nice refresh rate. Whether you choose the 5.8-inch or 6.5-inch model, either way, this display is going to be one of the best on any smartphone.
**The New Cameras**
Now, the camera is where things get really interesting. The iPhone 11 Pro has triple cameras on the back, with a normal camera, a 2x telephoto lens, and a 120-degree ultra-wide lens. You can switch between these three cameras seamlessly using either buttons or a slider that moves smoothly between all three focal lengths. Apple made a big deal about how they wanted to match the quality as well as possible between these three cameras, which I really hope is true.
You'll be able to do 4K 60fps video from all three cameras, which is dope and a major selling point for me. You can also choose to do portrait mode from either the telephoto or the normal camera, which is awesome. It's going to make me choose portrait mode from the standard primary camera way more often now that I'll have that choice.
**Computational Photography**
The camera capabilities on this phone are being powered by computational photography, high dynamic range, and all sorts of image pipeline improvements. This makes it quote pro-level photo and video camera. It's a game-changer for anyone who takes photos or videos seriously.
**Other Features**
Aside from the cameras, there are a couple other little things that Apple has added to make this phone more "pro-like." Better Face ID is one of them, and slightly improved water resistance are another. And let's not forget the glass – it's now more shadow resistant, which is a small but welcome change.
**The Verdict**
When you hear "iPhone 11 Pro," what do you think? Does it feel like there's a whole ton of things added up to make this worthy of a pro-level name? Honestly, I don't feel that way. It feels like they just added the "Pro" name because that's what's hot right now. Maybe that's a rant for another video, but in all seriousness, it really doesn't feel like there are any major upgrades here.
That being said, this phone does have some impressive features, and if you take a lot of photos or videos, I think you'll be happy with the results. The camera is undoubtedly one of the best on any smartphone, and the display and battery life are also top-notch.
**The Camera Focus**
One thing that bothers me is that there aren't really any other features that feel like they were added to make this phone more "Pro." There's no reverse wireless charging, no high refresh rate promotion display, no USB type-C, no Apple Pencil support, and not even any special little bits of software tossed in to make it at least feel more Pro-like. It's almost like they just threw a bunch of camera settings into the camera app instead of keeping them buried separately in the Settings app.
I know this is probably going to be one of the best-performing phones of the whole year, with some of the best battery life and display quality out there. And on top of that, it'll probably have one of the best cameras. I just can't help but feel like I should expect a bit more from a phone called "Pro." That's just how I feel, though.
**The Verdict Continued**
So, is this iPhone 11 Pro worth buying? If you're a serious photographer or videographer, the answer is definitely yes. The camera capabilities on this phone are top-notch, and it will give you some amazing results. But if you're not into photography or video production, I'm not sure if this phone is worth the premium price.
Ultimately, the decision comes down to your individual needs and preferences. If you want a great camera and don't mind paying a bit more for it, then the iPhone 11 Pro might be the perfect choice for you.
