iMac G4 Setup Preview

The Setup: A Quick Preview

Yeah, it's getting old this is the power cable which I do not have plugged in right now because it requires three prongs for grounding and I don't have that right here I mean I have an extension cord but that's not three prongs I have three prongs my what's that called the the strip the power strip right there and over there it's just too far but the good news is when this desk does go over here I have asked access to that outlet and that outlet which is perfect because I'm probably just going to be using the outlet right back there and if for whatever reason that one doesn't work I mean if it doesn't work in terms of the setup obviously it's going to work in terms of function it's a power outlet then I can end up using that one hey M and there he goes cats love boxes so going back to the desk here's a nice side view as you can see very simple on the eyes I love it but yes my drawer basically just going to hold little adapters or whatever and extra pieces for the desk and maybe I'll put an extra keyboard and mouse here and there over time two shelves which are currently empty but obviously I will put stuff there as time progresses and finally last but not least here is the granddaddy of the show or grandmother I don't know if this thing's male or female anyway joking aside 20in iMac G4 beautiful beautiful machine as you can see hopefully I've already cleaned it up a bit so it looks very nice pretty much spotless aside from this scratch on the display you really can't see it that well when the display is on which is fine by me and unfortunately the only major downside about this machine when I got it but it's honestly no big deal is the bezel was already off because somebody snapped off the plastic pieces that snap into the display itself so for now I have four pieces of Velcro on there actually I got to clean that actually I don't think that's cleanable that's kind of scratch but that's okay but from the front it does look pretty good however I am definitely making it a goal of mine my God Mai what are you doing you right there to make this the best setup that I possibly can because guys I got to say look at this desk it's so clean and simple and just it just looks modern I Know M trust me I agree so there you go a very quick preview I got to say it's looking good but of course it's going to look even better once it's over there especially once I have the speakers up and it hooked up the power it's just going to look amazing so definitely expect a final video on this in the near future probably mid January hey Ma look at my speaker cable it's all over the place the next thing I want to put in my living room is an area rug just a big ass area rug right here taking up all the space and hiding cables and whatnot so there you have it a fairly brief video at least for me I'm trying to keep this video less than 10 minutes but I wanted to give you guys a quick preview this IMAX G4 setup cuz I am very proud of it I love this desk I love the iMac G4, and also in case you didn't hear this in my previous iMac video the iMac G4 and I don't like playing favorites but but in terms of Mac design iMax G4 is definitely my favorite Mac design of all time it's beautiful it's functional for those not aware it swivels it goes up and down it's just a seriously just a great design I mean it really really is just overly impressive and also don't forget I will be getting at some point in my life I'm not willing to spend all that money right now but I will definitely be getting the iMac G4 17-in and the iMac G4 15-in because as great as this thing is it's really really freaking heavy I didn't expect it to be this heavy and I'm scared of this desk collapsing at some point it's as nice as it is it's not the most high quality desk I mean it's less than $100 but I appreciate it for what it is So eventually I think I will be getting the 17-in model putting in here then putting the 20in model on display somewhere then the final and then finally the 15-in model I don't know somewhere in this house Maui you're not going in the basement and speaking of Apple there's my power Max G4 I believe it's the graphite model so guys thank you so much for watching thank you for your continued support let me know what you think of the mx4 in the comments below and I will see you in my next video as well as Vegas videos very soon fun times ahead peace

The Power Struggle Continues

today's video but I just wanted to show you is it awesome looking if you actually pause the video it looks like I'm holding pixels maybe either way I thought it was pretty neat all right let's get to the point of today's video which is that so getting started I got to say real quick this is simply a preview because the final setup is going over there where my Christmas tree is right now and trust me guys that is going to look awesome I'm actually kind of excited to bring my Christmas tree down which I don't say often cuz I'm definitely a Christmas freak look it's my twin but for now I did want to make this brief video for you guys cuz I know you're interested at least I am but yes this is the desk I built it cost about $88 I think maybe 90 but I was fortunate to get it from a viewer of mine who prefers to be anonymous which is cool so there it is it took about 2 or 3 hours to build maybe 4 hours while watching movies on Netflix I'm definitely a Netflix freak but I got to say it's a really nice desk especially for less than $100 that is not a lot of money at all when it comes to desks and yes there is a keyboard tray which is not aligned properly I have to fix a screw back there as you can see kind of have to force it in that is not the desk's fault so I don't what you're saying David this desk sucks because believe me this desk is amazing I just have to fix something with the screw I may have stripped it a little bit so I just have to put a new screw in anyway but I will fix that eventually at some point however I got to say it is really nice having a tray because this allows me to hide my keyboard and mouse at all times allowing for the most clean setup possible now keep in mind this setup is not f I will be putting speakers here and there s might be sending me speakers I don't know no pressure s if you're watching if not I'll definitely be buying someone eBay they probably sell for like $10 they're really not good speakers but they look good I mean they look really nice and obviously they were made for this IMX G4 specifically so you know me I'm all about apple design and all that stuff so I think that would look pretty nice but getting back to the setup and yes obviously I'm saving Best For Last this is my Boon glow light if want to change the colors you can let's go for a nice green right around there there you go but if you do flip it all the way to the right it rotates between colors automatically you just keep this here for a second there you go goes from Orange to Yellow then it should be yellow to Green yeah it's following the Spectrum pretty nice and down here we do have a drawer which does open just fine I mean it's a little tight but I'd rather have it tight than loose I know I know that's what she said yeah it's getting old this
