Everything Epic DIDN'T Tell You In Season 5! (Tilted Towers BACK, New Material) - Fortnite Season 5
**Fortnite Season 5: Everything You Need to Know**
Hey guys, it’s Cypher, and season five of Fortnite has arrived! Ladies and gentlemen, as you can see, the entire midsection of the map has completely changed. But that's not the only thing that’s different—there are a lot of changes around the map, some new points of interest (POIs) popping up, and season five is here. I’m going to cover everything you need to know, and I’ll be uploading a lot this week. If you want to stay up to date with season five, make sure to like, subscribe, turn on notifications, and if you end up getting the season pass, use my creator code: **Cipher PK** in the item shop.

### What’s Changed in Season Five
There are some pretty fundamental changes to the game. As you can see right now, I just picked up some gold currency. You can obtain gold currency from looting, completing quests that NPCs give you, and even from killing players. You can use this gold to recruit teammates, which are actually npcs themselves. You can also use gold to upgrade your weapons and for other purposes. It’s like a buy system, but they’ve done it in a unique way.
---
### New Points of Interest (POIs)
We have the **Colosseum** and **Hunter's Haven**, which is up north. The big one is **Salty Towers**, which combines elements from Tilted Towers. Some of the major buildings from Tilted are now "unsalty," and these guys are back—I didn’t expect them to return, but they’re here! By the way, the AK-47 is unvaulted, and it’s not as weak as it once was. It shoots a lot faster and is more accurate, making it one of the stronger assault rifles right now. The Tactical Assault Rifle is also back; it uses light ammo.
---
### Map Changes
There's all this sand in the center of the map, and you can actually use it to hide. If you stand in the sand, you’ll sink a bit and turn into a little hill. You can jump out if you want or move around using the sand. There are also crystals in the center that you can consume. I’m not entirely sure what they do yet—I consumed them last game, but I didn’t notice any change or effect on me.
---
### Returning Points of Interest
Some old POIs have made a return, like **Flush Factory**, which is back where it originally was in season one. Part of **Dusty** has also returned, and there’s an NPC here you can talk to. When you see little arrows or dots appearing, that’s when you can walk up to the NPC. This one is called **Dead Fire**, and he offers challenges like upgrading your pistol or eliminating a player for a bounty.
---
### New Weapons and Features
The **Mandalorian Glider** and **Mandalorian Sniper Rifle** are here. The sniper rifle allows you to stab people, but I’m not sure how much damage it does when stabbing—it’s more effective when scoped in for sniping. There’s also the **Dragon Shotgun**, which does fire damage, and the **Flintknock Shotgun**, a double-barrel shotgun that knocks you back like the Flint. The **P90** is back as well, and it’s great for spraying.
---
### Vaulted Weapons
Some weapons have been vaulted, including purple and gold pumps, combat shotgun, attack smg, lmg, revolver, bolt sniper, and fire trap. If you’re interested in what’s in the season pass, I did a whole reaction video on **Cipher PK** with the season pass.
---
### New Fish
There are two new fish: the **Rift Fish** and the **Point Fish**. And with this jetpack, you can actually aim down sights (ADS) while floating, which is pretty cool!
---
### Crystals and Zero Point
The crystals allow you to dash, but you can’t do it if you’re using the jetpack because clicking space again doesn’t work. The **Zero Point** in the center of the map passively heals your health and shield. I’m not sure if you need to be right next to it or just under it. Also, the sand might start moving around the map throughout the season.
---
### Recruiting Teammates
You can recruit NPCs to follow you around by spending crystals. These recruits are a little more powerful than Stark Robots, but they cost a lot of crystals. I wonder if certain characters are better to recruit than others—I’ll have to test that.
---
### Testing and More Content
I’ve got to test the recruits, the new weapons, and all the other features. If you want to know everything about season five, make sure to subscribe and turn on notifications so you don’t miss any uploads. I’ll be bringing you tips, tricks, and more content throughout the week.
