ATYCBY - Bulletproof Pantyhose & Foldable Fire Pit

Welcome to Awesome Tech You Can't Buy It, the show where we bring you the five best crowdfunding projects that have recently landed on the Internet.

First up this week, we have the Norrland Parka, which they're calling a winter coat that has over 20 different features. I love this thing because minimalism seems to be all the rage right now, but these guys come out of the gates swinging and they're like, "We're gonna make a maximalist jacket that has more features than you could possibly need." This thing has built-in pockets for your phone, your wallet, keys, tablet, ear pods, ear plugs, glasses, gloves, hat, pen, and passport. That's individual pockets for each of those things. But it gets better than that. In addition to all that stuff, it also has a built-in scarf, pen stylus keychain, flashlight, whistle, bottle opener, power bank, and the best one of all - a Wi-Fi hotspot. I don't know why you would actually need a Wi-Fi hotspot built into your jacket, but this has one. The only thing is, you do have to pay for the SIM card and the plan that goes behind it yourself if you want to use it. If you get in early, you can get it on Kickstarter now for about $291, which is a pretty sweet deal. Otherwise, it's gonna go for about $323. But either way, they're gonna ship it in August.

Next up, we have the Shear Techs shears, which are indestructible pantyhose that are made from bulletproof fibers. So what that allows them to do is withstand pretty much anything. In the demo video, they actually filled them with a bunch of dumbbells and then lifted them off the ground. These things definitely won't break if you just stick your leg in them. The thing is, these have already been available for a while now, probably about a year, but the company has gone back to the drawing board, reworked their manufacturing process, and now they're back with a cheaper version of the same idea. You can get one pair for about $79 bucks if you back the project right now. Most of the earlybird pledges are already snapped up, however, so you can still get a set of two of them for about $118 bucks, which is considerably cheaper per pair. These things are going to ship in August of this year.

Now, let's talk about Food Wrap, which is a pretty clever idea for reusable cling wrap that you use to store your feet. It's pretty simple, really - it's just a sheet of silicone rubber that you can stretch over your containers like you would regular cling wrap. The only difference is this is completely reusable, so once it gets dirty, you can just tear it off, throw it in the dishwasher, and then reuse it again after that. And as an added bonus, you can also use this in place of parchment paper or tin foil for baking. It's also pretty cheap because it's just a sheet of silicone rubber. You can get a set of three of these for about $14 bucks on Kickstarter right now, and they expect to ship in June.

Next up, we have the Low Mcgann, which is an art photography lens from Lomography. This company makes all kinds of really cool lenses for artsy photography, so it's no surprise that this 32 millimeter lens has some unique features. It has a minimum focal distance of about point four meters, which means you can get up really close to your subjects if you need to. You'll also get really wide shots if you want those. The other cool thing about it is that it uses a dial-based aperture, so that allows you to swap between different aperture sizes that are perfectly circular. Unlike a normal iris lens, these are perfectly circular and basically improve the quality of the background glitter in your photos. These things are currently going for about $350 bucks on Kickstarter right now, and they expect to ship them in November of this year.

Last but not least, we have the Folding Fire, which you guessed it is a folding fire pit that's perfect for camping season. It's gonna cost you about $105 if you back the project right now, and they expect to ship it in June, just in time for camping season. The idea behind this is pretty simple - a compact, portable fire pit that you can use anywhere you go. And with the weather getting warmer, now's the perfect time to get outdoors and enjoy some quality time with friends and family around the campfire.

has one the only thing is you do have to pay for the SIM card and the plan that goes behind it yourself if you want to lock one of these things down you can get it on Kickstarter right now for about two hundred ninety one dollars if you get the last couple early bird pledges otherwise it's gonna go for about three hundred and twenty three dollars but in either case they're gonna ship it in August next up we have the shear Tech's shears which are indestructible pantyhose that are made from bulletproof fibers so what that allows them to do is withstand pretty much anything in the demo video they actually filled them with a bunch of dumbbells and then lift them off the ground so these things definitely won't break if you just stick your leg in them the thing is these have already been available for a while now probably about a year but the company has gone back to the drawing board reworked their manufacturing process and now they're back with a cheaper version of the same idea that you can get in four different colors if you back the project right now you can get one pair for about 79 bucks because most of the earlybird pledges are diamond scooped up however you can still get a set of two of them for about 118 bucks which is considerably cheaper per pair these things are going to ship in August of this year next up we have food wrap which is a pretty clever idea for reusable cling wrap that you use to store your feet so pretty simple device it's pretty much just a sheet of silicone rubber that you can stretch over your containers like you would regular cling wrap in place of parchment paper or tin foil for baking it's also pretty cheap because it's just a sheet of silicone rubber so you can get a set of three of these for about fourteen bucks on Kickstarter right now and they expect to ship in June next up we have the low mcgann which is an art photography lens from Lomography which is that company that makes all kinds of really cool lenses for a really artsy photography so it's a thirty two millimeter lens and it has a minimum focal distance of about point four meters so that means you can get up really close to your subjects if you need to would also get really wide shots if you want those the other cool thing about it is that it uses a dial based aperture so that allows you to swap between different aperture sizes that are perfectly circular so unlike a normal iris lens these are perfectly circular and basically improve the quality of the background glitter in your photos these things are currently going for about three hundred and fifty dollars on Kickstarter right now and they expect to ship them in November of this year last but not least we have the folding fire which you guessed it is a folding fire pin that's probably the most creatively bankrupt name I have heard in months though but I have to do this for you you could call it the pack up it or the campfire cradle or maybe even the heat hammock all of those are drastically better names than folding fire regardless of all that though it is a pretty cool idea so what it is it's packable portable fire pit the idea is that you unfold it put the wire mesh on the four corners and then put your wood on top of it and light it on fire the cool thing about this is that this mesh is so breathable that it allows you to start a fire easily and because it's getting more oxygen it'll actually burn cleaner and with less smoke now truth be told this is not the first time that we have seen a folding fire pit before you can actually buy them on Amazon right now but what makes this one different is that it has an ace up its sleeve this one has a grill attachment this thing is gonna cost you about $105 if you back the project right now and they expect to ship it in June which is just in time for camping season that does it for this week but be sure to tune in again next week and I will bring you five more awesome crowdfunding projects that you probably wouldn't have
