8 is definitely brighter overall although we have lost some of the color on the S8 the U1 has maintained a little bit more color compared to the S8 but I think the wider aperture of the S8 is what's resulting in The Brighter Image now testing out the front facing flashes on both devices this is where the front display is illuminated I actually like the U1 here a little bit better it seems a tad sharper and the colors are also a little bit better maintained the S8 is doing a decent job but there seems to be a bit more of a green tint on here compared to the U1 now moving on to an outdoor macro shot both are doing great here you've got lots of detail and a nice shallow depth of field because of that f1.7 aperture on both going in 100% both have a good amount of detail I do like the S8 image a little bit better here and that is because it's maintained the colors a little bit better compared to the U1 which has gone more towards the light side and we are losing some of the detail on the flower where it's it's gone to White NOW moving on to an outdoor wide shot I think both are doing great here lots of detail very difficult to pick a winner here but I do think the U1 has slightly better dynamic range if you look towards the cloud you can see that some more of those details have been maintained compared to the S8 but very very close indeed testing out another outdoor wide shot this time it's actually into the sunset so bit more of a tricky situation here both are doing very similar the S8 is a little bit more vibrant and I think if we look closely towards the middle then you can notice that the U1 has slightly better dynamic range compared to the S8 here now going on to low light so this is an indoor low light shot I think the S8 is doing better here You've Got A Brighter Image and it's also got less noise compared to that of the U1 now to take the low light test further went outdoors and here both are actually doing really well now going on 100% you can see that both are performing really well the text is sharp here I think that does go down to the optical image stabilization that both of them have slight differences in color there is a bit of a green tint here on the U1 but nothing major in between them I think both of them are performing really well in low light now finally testing out the flash on both devices I think both are doing very similar here slight differences in color slightly warmer on the S8 slightly cooler on the U1 I think I do prefer the cooler look on the U1 but I think that will come down to personal preference so there we have it guys the super saf style camera comparison between the HTC U1 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 to conclude INE I think for the front-facing camera the S8 did have better video better dynamic range the video quality was also sharper and it was also more stable for images it also seemed to be sharper and I think that does come down to the autofocus that it's got but the HTC did have a high resolution so you can crop in further on the HTC now for video from the rear facing camera I think quality-wise both were very good I did find that the S8 was more stable however for autofocus I think they were very similar it was difficult to tell them apart both were super fast and for outdoor images also I think both were very good for the macro shot I did prefer the S8 but for the wider shots the HTC did seem to have better dynamic range now for low light indoors the S8 did seem to perform better but when we went outdoors I think it was pretty much neck and neck with just slight differences in color and finally for audio I think the HTC did sound better overall I had to listen a few times you can go back and have a listen but I think that 3D audio does help the HTC so overall very very close here I think both have a very very good camera some of the best out there that's what I think anyway what do you guys think definitely drop me a comment below and let me know your thoughts if you want to see lots of images from lots of different devices then give me a follow on Instagram I'm at suaf TV
HTC U11 vs Galaxy S8 Camera Test Comparison
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up YouTube saf here on super saf TV and welcome to another Super saf style camera comparison this time between the HTC U1 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 so in the usual style we'll be looking at both the front and rear facing cameras and imag as well as video 2 do also look out for the audio icon in the corner of the screen and that will indicate to you which device the audio is coming from I'll be switching between these two to give you guys a better idea of the differences in audio as well so we're currently using the front-facing cameras on both devices where in my car it's uh daylight outside so we've got plenty of light coming in and we are going to be heading outside doing some rear facing camera tests uh some stabilization tests as well as some low light tests so let's get straight to it now we're going to test out the stabilization from the front-facing cameras so let's go ahead and start running so now looking at the video from the rear facing cameras we're filming at 4K right now and let's go ahead and take a bit of a walk at 4K so we can see what the stabilization is like at 4K now we've switched over to 1080P and we're going to test out the stabilization so bit of a walk and let's turn that into a run now we're indoors with the HTC1 just testing out the autofocus and it seems to be doing really well snapping on very quickly now same lighting with the S8 also super duper fast um really not sure which one's faster let me know what you guys think so that was the video now before we move on to some images just to go over what we're working with here for the refacing cameras they're pretty much the same with 12 megapixels and f1.7 aperture and Optical image stabilization we do however have quite a big difference for the front-facing cameras the U1 does have double the resolution 16 maps versus 8 but the S8 plus does have a wi aperture as well as autofocus from the front-facing camera this is not something that many devices offer now if you want to pick up a skin for your device like I have done here for my S8 then definitely check out a sponsor for this video which is brand skins they've got a huge selection of skins for lots of different devices and I'll leave a link to them in the description below now one last thing to mention is that all images have been taken on automatic I've not tweaked any settings and this is to keep things as Fair as possible so kicking off with some selfies here is a selfie in my car as I normally take I think both are doing really good you can see lots of detail colors also very nice and similar the U1 has flipped the image but that's no big deal in terms of dynamic range they also seem quite similar they have have blown out the highlights in the background now let's go in 100% And here you can see that you can crop in much further on the U1 and that is because it has a much higher resolution but the S8 looks a lot sharper here now I think this comes down to the autofocus that the front-facing camera of the S8 has and it has snapped onto my face quite nicely although the U1 looked fine when we were viewing it at a normal angle as soon as we went in 100% you can see that it's not as sharp as the S8 now taking a low light selfie outside under Street lighting the S8 is definitely brighter overall although we have lost some of the color on the S8 the U1 has maintained a little bit more color compared to the S8 but I think the wider aperture of the S8 is what's resulting in The Brighter Image now testing out the front facing flashes on both devices this is where the front display is illuminated I actually like the U1 here a little bit better it seems a tad sharper and the colors are also a little bit better maintained the S8 is doing a decent job but there seems to be a bit more a green tint on here compared to the U1 now moving on to an outdoor macro shot both are doing great here you've got lots of detail and a nice shallow depth of field because of that f1.7 aperture on both going in 100% both have a good amount of detail I do like the S8 image a little bit better here and that is because it's maintained the colors a little bit better compared to the U1 which has gone more towards the light side and we are losing some of the detail on the flower where it's it's gone to White NOW moving on to an outdoor wide shot I think both are doing great here lots of detail very difficult to pick a winner here but I do think the U1 has slightly better dynamic range if you look towards the cloud you can see that some more of those details have been maintained compared to the S8 but very very close indeed testing out another outdoor wide shot this time it's actually into the sunset so bit more of a tricky situation here both are doing very similar the S8 is a little bit more vibrant and I think if we look closely towards the middle then you can notice that the U1 has slightly better dynamic range compared to the S8 here now going on to low light so this is an indoor low light shot I think the S8 is doing better here You've Got A Brighter Image and it's also got less noise compared to that of the U1 now to take the low light test further went outdoors and here both are actually doing really well now going on 100% you can see that both are performing really well the text is sharp here I think that does go down to the optical image stabilization that both of them have slight differences in color there is a bit of a green tint here on the U1 but nothing major in between them I think both of them are performing really well in low light now finally testing out the flash on both devices I think both are doing very similar here slight differences in color slightly warmer on the S8 slightly cooler on the U1 I think I do prefer the cooler look on the U1 but I think that will come down to personal preference so there we have it guys the super saf style camera comparison between the HTC U1 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 to conclude INE I think for the front-facing camera the S8 did have better video better dynamic range the video quality was also sharper and it was also more stable for images it also seemed to be sharper and I think that does come down to the autofocus that it's got but the HTC did have a high resolution so you can crop in further on the HTC now for video from the rear facing camera I think quality-wise both were very good I did find that the S8 was more stable however for autofocus I think they were very similar it was difficult to tell them apart both were super fast and for outdoor images also I think both were very good for the macro shot I did prefer the S8 but for the wider shots the HTC did seem to have better dynamic range now for low light indoors the S8 did seem to perform better but when we went outdoors I think it was pretty much neck and neck with just slight differences in color and finally for audio I think the HTC did sound better overall I had to listen a few times you can go back and have a listen but I think that 3D audio does help the HTC so overall very very close here I think both have a very very good camera some of the best out there that's what I think anyway what do you guys think definitely drop me a comment below and let me know your thoughts if you want to see lots of images from lots of different devices then give me a
