FALL DECORATE WITH ME _ CREATING A COZY KITCHEN NOOK _ Pumpkins & Leaves

Decorating My Little Nook: A Fall Wonderland

As I sit in my little nook, surrounded by the warm glow of fall, I am reminded of how much this space has been transformed. It was once just a half-circle entrance to my kitchen, but now it's a cozy area that invites me to relax and unwind. The first thing I wanted to tackle was decorating the pie safe, which sits nestled up against the wall, taking up valuable space in what would have been a functional seating area. However, with only my partner Micah and myself using this space, it becomes redundant for large gatherings.

To create a warm and inviting atmosphere, I began by adding pumpkins and fall colors to the area. This was inspired by one of my previous YouTube videos, where I showcased how I styled the kitchen table at the last house. Looking back at those videos also gave me insight into my current inventory, allowing me to decide what items to bring in or switch up. With this little nook being a relatively small space, I wanted to keep things simple and not overdo it.

I started by pulling the kitchen table back, creating an opportunity to add some garland around the mirror. This was something I wasn't entirely sure about, but ultimately felt it would tie everything together seamlessly for the full house tour. The garland is from Hobby Lobby, a store I've come to love for their wide selection of fall-themed items. The addition of this garland brings a pop of color and helps create a sense of continuity throughout the space.

To further enhance the autumnal feel, I added a few small pieces from Dollar Tree, including some cute little pumpkins and a couple of seasonal decorations. My Hobby Lobby pumpkins were also incorporated into the design, adding another layer of depth to the overall look. The finished product is quite charming, with plenty of fall elements on display.

One of my favorite parts of this setup is the vintage picture hanging above the pie safe. I've always been drawn to the warm, muted tones of this frame, and it adds a touch of elegance to the space. This was also a last-minute addition, as I had originally intended to layer a different fall photo, but something about this particular piece just worked.

As I look around my little nook now, I can see how everything has come together to create a cohesive look. The candles and small pumpkins add a warm glow to the space, while the garland helps tie everything together. One of the things that sets this design apart from my previous attempts is the use of fall lights, which I had purchased last year but never ended up using. These add a whimsical touch to the overall look and help create a sense of depth.

I've also added an extra pumpkin on one edge of the setup, which helps balance out the visual elements in the space. The rest of the design has remained relatively consistent with my previous efforts, including the use of similar colors and patterns. However, I think this particular arrangement feels more cohesive and polished than any of my previous attempts.

The final touch is a small note – I won't be using black crows for this fall setup, but they will make an appearance later in the season, around Halloween. This gives me something to look forward to and creates a sense of anticipation for what's to come. With its warm colors, cozy atmosphere, and whimsical touches, my little nook is now officially ready for fall.

In conclusion, decorating this little nook has been a fun and rewarding experience. From pulling the table back to adding garland around the mirror, every detail has contributed to creating a space that feels welcoming and inviting. I hope you've enjoyed following along on this journey with me, and I look forward to sharing more of my fall decorating adventures in future videos.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enfor today's video we are going to be decorating this little nook in my house i don't know if it was actually ever intended for like the kitchen nook but that's what i've done with it it's just kind of like this little half circle into the house and so we've got my pie safe here we've got my kitchen table here and it's time to decorate it for fall so that's what we're gonna do so of course the first things that i did was i went and looked back at my youtube videos to just kind of see um how i styled it at the last house like just like the table setting and then like i've mentioned before it also gives me insight into my inventory into what i have on hand and then i can kind of also decide you know if there's things that i want to switch up obviously i'm in a new house so things are going to be slightly different and i think i know exactly how i want to tackle this so let's go ahead and get to decorating the first thing i am going to do is i'm going to tackle the pie save just because this kitchen table is actually nestled like right up on it just to save room and not kind of like come out into this entryway which you'll see that in a second but i don't mind you know if i had like a huge family and we needed the seating this would not be functional at all so it's just me and micah and we actually don't sit here to eat we sit at the bar so in a lot of ways this is purely decorative but i do set this kitchen table and do some like journaling and stuff like that as well so anyways i'm gonna go ahead and start with this area pull the table back and we're just gonna you know we're gonna get pumpkins and fall colors and everything just like pumped into this area so let's get started so so so so hmm you foreign so and here's the finished product so lots of fall going on here for sure i knew that i had to add some garland around the mirror and i'm not sure how i feel about it i think i like it but definitely comment down below let me know um it's definitely better than leaving it just like the green i feel like when i do the full house tour everything will just kind of like you know be really seamless so i like that aspect and then i kept it pretty simple up here added more that garland that i love it's from hobby lobby and then this mom i just thought that i needed something here that was more fall you know plant rather than just like what i had before that just felt a little too summery you saw that i was trying to like layer a fall photo or maybe you saw it i'm not sure my camera like ran out of memory so i'm not sure what i got just yet but i tried adding like another picture without removing this one but you could still see like the text on the ends so i just thought that it just didn't look right i was trying to go for a layering look but it just yeah it didn't work out and then i kept my little vintage picture up i just like the color of the frame i just feel like it's very fall so i kept that and then the pie safe is fully decorated it's kind of hard to see because of the chicken wire that's why i didn't try to be too too perfect or overthink it because i knew just be hard to see but there's definitely pops of orange going on and then i have some cute little pieces from dollar tree that are in there and then a couple of little small dollar tree pumpkins and then my hobby lobby pumpkins so i love yeah i love all the fall that's going on here and then the table so this is my first attempt as we get into fall i'm actually going to be restyling and doing multiple tablescapes for you guys and just like doing different styles and coming up with different ideas in the end when i went back and looked at my videos and photos this is kind of how i had it styled in the kitchen island if you remember the only thing missing from this are the black crows i had them kind of like perched on the pumpkins they will be coming back out but they'll be coming back out more for halloween so i'm not doing like the crows for fall this year so i will be adding them like at the end of september so definitely come back so you can see that and then of course you can always go and watch all of my previous decorating for fall if you want to see like how you know my style progressed through like each house that i lived in but i do like how this looks i as you can see i added my candles again and then this time i added these little like fall lights i got them last year and i never ended up actually using them they were in an amazon haul and then i was digging through my stuff and i found them and then i thought that it would look really pretty to add them kind of like underneath all of this so yeah so i just added an additional pumpkin i didn't do that last year last year i just had these three big ones and then two small ones but i decided i just for here i needed to have another pumpkin on this edge so i did that and then other than that that's basically the space i didn't change anything about the curtains um but i really like it so again once i do like the full full house tour of this version um like everything will flow together so like when i turn this way and you guys can like see this entryway i mean i have boxes and stuff so but like it all just flows really really well together and i like it so it was very fun to do and that is going to be it for today's video i hope you've enjoyed all the fall decorating with me if you've missed the entryways this one that one the living room i will link it down below for you and i'll see you next time bye you\n"
