How to grill Corn Whiskey Chicken _ Recipe

Welcome to Barbecue Pit Boys.com! Today, we're cooking up some delicious Corn Whiskey Chicken at the pit. And the best part? This recipe is really easy to do!

To start, we'll need some good quality chicken breasts. You can't go wrong with fresh and juicy chicken for this recipe. Next, we've got a few other ingredients that will take it to the next level: brown sugar, cayenne pepper, hot sauce, green onions, butter, jalapeno peppers, and of course, corn. And we're using canned corn because, why not? It's already sweet and juicy, just like us!

Now, let's talk about the magic that makes this recipe so special. We've got a few tricks up our sleeves to make these chicken breasts tender and flavorful. First things first, we'll cut them in half to make them fairly thin. This is important because it allows the flavors to penetrate evenly throughout the meat. Next, we'll sprinkle some baking soda on both sides of the breasts. Now, you might be wondering why baking soda? Well, this trick helps to tenderize the chicken without making it too dry or tough.

Now that our chicken breasts are prepped, let's talk about the sauce. And trust me, this is where the magic happens! We've got a butter-based sauce that's sweet and spicy, with just the right amount of heat. The key to this recipe is reducing the sauce to get it nice and thick. This takes a bit of time and patience, but trust us, it's worth it. We'll add some cayenne pepper because everything is better with a little kick, and a half cup of brown sugar for that sweet Southern Comfort flavor.

Now that we've got our sauce ready, let's talk about the most important part: cooking the chicken! Now, this is where things can get a bit tricky. We want to grill these chicken breasts fairly slow over indirect heat to maintain the moisture on the inside. If you cook them too fast and hot, they'll just dry out and become tough as shoe leather. But when you do it right, oh man, it's like a symphony of flavors!

As we're cooking the chicken breasts, we'll add some oil and seasoning to give them that extra oomph! We want to keep flipping them until they're nice and golden brown on both sides. And don't worry if you can't smell it yet – just wait until you do, and you'll be hooked!

Finally, it's time to plate up our Corn Whiskey Chicken. We'll serve it with some mashed taters and green onions, because why not? It's a great sandwich, but we're feeling fancy today! And the crowning glory of this dish is the Corn One Whiskey sauce – pour it all over the top and watch as the flavors come together in perfect harmony.

And that's it! That's how you make Corn Whiskey Chicken like a Pit Master. Make sure to check out Barbecue Pit Boys.com for more delicious recipes and cooking tips. And don't forget to subscribe to our channel for more mouth-watering content!
