Introduction to Tamagachi Museum's Collection: A Review of the Ruku Ru Chan Toy

Hello again YouTube, this is Erica of Tamagachi Museum. Weebly.com and today I have to show you a Ruku Ru Chan um they also have this as an American version called Smarty Time Kid uh this one is particularly cute there's uh many little buttons here you can see that there's the the clock and uh enter Escape buttons now this one's uh kind of reminds me of a Tamagachi school um you take care of him and he grows into and it turns into a certain type of career depending on how you take care of him and so you can see that it's kind of like a Dinky Dyo style pet you have the the food here and his uh miscellaneous items as you can scroll around you see there.

The Ruku Ru Chan Toy: A Closer Look

The first icon here is pretty neat actually it took me a while to figure it out um it's a school bus and you can select where you want to where you want to go and depending on where he is such as his Schoolhouse or his or his home um he can do different items so let's just say let's go to uh school there's two of them which function as a school I'm still trying to figure out what the difference between these two is so let's just pick this one here and so you can see he's on a little school bus driving and he arrives at a stop so once there you can see there's the ABC chalkboard and there are many different activities you can do.

Learning with Ruku Ru Chan

This one is H for him to learn his alphabet and you can see it's the Japanese most common sounds here you can learn math so you have uh four Hearts here and you scroll downward and you choose how many there are so they're four and then this one you uh choose different shapes to match it and so you can push the escape button and it goes back to mod screen and you can check how much he's learned his progress. This is for PE and this is for that game I had just shown you the alphabet, uh how well he's doing in math and the discipline and art and so you can uh take him back on the school bus you can take him either home or to this other Schoolhouse I guess that's what it is maybe the other one must be a library and so this one has more things you can do there's a math and this one's new it's there's a music so we can increase his music skills.

The Paintbrush Feature: A Favorite of Mine

This is a my favorite feature on here I think it's really cute it works kind of like an extra sketch you can uh work to draw little pictures you know like a little smiley face. You can hear uh my siblings fighting in the background sorry about that maybe just a apathetic face and then you just wait for a minute for it to accept it so he's now happy.

so there's PE and you move the buttons back and forth to get to the end of the wall and uh you can see there's discipline so when he feels upset or has a sad face you push that button it makes him happy again increases discipline you have the on and off buttons here to turn the light on this is that that's this is the study icon you actually have to get back on the bus and go home and you can study at home and he also has a TV and music entertainment at home and uh so he's pretty cute and he has a nice long chain you can see there so uh these are pretty cheap you can find them on eBay um not too often but when you do they're like $12 uh they're not all too expensive so uh this is one I would recommend having in your collection as it's a very very cute and that is all I have to say for
