The iPad 2 and iPhone 4S Jailbreak Has Finally Been Released

Hey guys, it's Apple Pro here, and I'm excited to say that the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S jailbreak has finally been released. Yes, this will work on iOS 5.0.1, yes, it's untethered, now it's both for Mac and Windows, and if you have an iPhone 4S, it'll work on both 5.0 and the new and old versions of iOS 5.0.1. Now, for the iPad 2, this will just work on iOS 5.0.1.

So, let's go ahead and get started now. The tool we're going to be using is called Absinthe. You can either use Red Snow or Absent. I'll post links for both down below in the description, so definitely check that out. Also, a little guide but all you need to do is go ahead and connect your iPhone to your computer. Okay, and all you're going to do is click Jailbreak on your little Absinthe popup. It's connecting to your device now this will be really easy guys, you don't even need to put it into DFU mode, and just watch as your iPhone or iPad is jailbroken.

And you'll get this little popup that the restore is in progress. Don't worry about that, the jailbreak is working, so give it a couple minutes, and this jailbreak basically puts your device into restore mode. It's as if it's restoring it to a custom backup but that's not actually what's going on; it's actually a different process, but this does take a little bit. And you just leave your iPhone or iPad 2 alone and in a little bit the jailbreak will be done.

Once you guys see Absinthe has finished the loading bar will be full. You'll go ahead and slide to unlock and on your springboard you will see the little Absinthe logo, so you'll click on that and chances are it will be white. You'll get this little error message, and what you guys have to do is slide over into General and click VPN. Now you're going to wait this will take a little bit, and your iPhone will restart after that we will see Cydia on our springboard.

And I'll be right back. And there you go. You do get a little VPN error message but that's okay, your iPhone will restart and in a second here we will have Cydia on our springboard.
