The New Billet K24 For The Mr2 Is Here!

The Storm Aftermath: A Hurricane Clean-Up Effort

As our cameras caught the devastating effects of the recent hurricane on our property, it was clear that we were in for a long and arduous process to restore our space back to normal. We began by assessing the damage, which had been exacerbated by the strong winds and torrential rains. Our priority was to ensure the safety of our team members, who were tasked with clearing debris and repairing damaged structures.

One of the most pressing concerns was a tree that had fallen onto its neighbor's property, causing significant damage to both houses. The tree, which was still leaning precariously in our yard, posed a major threat to our shop and surrounding buildings. Our team worked tirelessly to assess the situation, and we quickly realized that the tree needed to be removed as soon as possible. We called a local tree service, who had recently completed work on our neighbors' properties, to come and secure the tree.

As we waited for the tree service to arrive, our team got to work clearing debris from the yard, including leaves and branches that had been blown about by the storm. We also took the opportunity to inspect the shop roof, where water had begun to seep in through a gap caused by the fallen tree. To mitigate this issue, we set up a temporary tarp to catch any further rainwater.

The arrival of the tree service marked a turning point in our clean-up efforts. With their expertise and equipment, they were able to safely remove the tree from its precarious position on top of the shop. We breathed a collective sigh of relief as the team carefully dismantled the fallen tree, taking care not to damage any surrounding structures.

As we watched the tree service work their magic, our cameras captured every moment of the process. The team's skill and attention to detail were impressive, as they worked to ensure that the job was done safely and efficiently. It was clear that they had dealt with many similar situations in the past, and we were grateful for their professionalism.

Despite the challenges we faced during the clean-up effort, our team remained positive and focused on getting the job done. We knew that with their hard work and dedication, we would be back to normal in no time. And indeed, as the tree service finished up and packed away their equipment, we couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment.

The aftermath of the hurricane had left its mark on our property, but with the help of our team and the local tree service, we were able to restore order and begin the process of repair. We are now focused on getting back to our regular schedule of content creation, which will resume soon. In the meantime, we want to thank all of you for your support during this challenging time.

A Special Update: The Billet Engine

In a separate development, we have some exciting news about an upcoming project that we can't wait to share with you. As part of our World Cup event coverage, we are planning to feature a Billet engine in the MR2. We're thrilled to announce that this engine will be making its way back into the car, and we can't wait to see it roar back to life.

The preparation for this project has been underway for some time now, and we're confident that our team will deliver an outstanding result. With the Billet engine at the helm of our trusty MR2, we're ready to take on any challenge that comes our way. Stay tuned for more updates from our World Cup event coverage, as well as other exciting projects in the works.

A Brief Glimpse into the Gutter Cleaning Effort

As part of the overall clean-up effort, our team also tackled the task of clearing debris from our gutters. We were shocked at just how much material had accumulated in these normally tranquil channels, but we knew it was essential to get them cleaned out as soon as possible.

With the aid of some specialized equipment and a bit of elbow grease, we managed to clear most of the debris from the gutters. While there's still some work to be done, our team is pleased with the progress we've made so far. We'll continue to keep an eye on the situation and make any necessary repairs as needed.

A Final Look at the Damage

As we take a final look around the property, it's clear that the storm left its mark. The fallen tree has been removed, but there are still some lingering signs of damage in need of repair. We'll be keeping an eye on these areas and making any necessary adjustments as we move forward.

Despite the challenges we faced during this hurricane clean-up effort, our team remains committed to getting back to normal operations. We're grateful for your support and look forward to sharing more exciting content with you in the near future.

still have some final cleanup to do from the hurricane and we went ahead and moved some cars around this morning we got everything cleared out from under the covering right here we got some final twigs and leaves to get cleaned up out of the way and if you guys look over here our neighbor has this tree getting cut out of their yard because it is leaning really bad it's aimed right at their house so this tree company came out with this big Crane and they got a guy up there cutting it apart piece by piece and they are going to be removing that tree completely just cuz it's a threat to their home luckily it didn't come all way over but they're going to go ahead and chop that guy up and get it out of here there goes another piece that's a big chunk of tree right there why I just got the NSX pulled out of the way and his enclosed trailer because the neighbors needed our driveway to work on this tree because they didn't have good access to it so we got the crane truck right here got the guy operating that guy and they're going to be setting this stuff down in our yard they're going to be cutting it up and Hauling it away so I'm out in front of the house right now you can see our massive pile of trees that we got going on alongside the road right here all of this stuff was on the roof of the shop I don't think that time lapse did Justice to just how much work that really was but we got it all out here ready for the tree trucks to pick it up not sure when they're going to be here might be a day or two but got that ready for when they want to come dispose of all of that the road is still flooded down there but the water level is going down so pretty much any car can make it through now which is good before you wouldn't want to go through that with a regular car it would definitely be too deep but now pretty much any car can go through there all of the roads have been cleared except for this one right here this is the same one that you guys saw in the last video the city came out and they actually put caution tape around everything because they don't want anyone messing with this site right here there's power lines tangled up that's going to be a lot of work to get cleaned up so they're going to have to wait for the city to come out with linemen and more tree guys to get that cleared up and out of the way people were starting to go through this guy's yard right here which I'm sure they did not appreciate to go out and around all of it but they got this taped up so we're going to have to wait for them to deal with that but other than that all the other paths have opened up the only thing that sucks now is that we don't know how long we're going to be out without power obviously the sooner the better but having no power isn't very convenient we got the generator so we'll be good but we're just really hoping for the power to come back on and then we'll be set well there's our hole right over the toolbox and MR2 here had a whole bunch of crap fall through when we were cleaning up that tree that freaking sucks right on the fuel cell here so we're going to have to make sure we get all that cleaned off before we try to open any of that up but uh yeah got a little mess to clean up and we're definitely going to have to throw something over that guy so it doesn't rain in here looks like they got a fire truck out here and some guys down there with some chainsaws a bucket truck and they are getting started on clearing this road right here I'm back on the shop roof because we have some cleaning up to do as you guys saw in the last video the hurricane took a big section of this tree down and it landed on top of our roof and we got most of it cleaned up out of the way all the big chunks got that stuff hauled off but we still have all this right here that needs to get cleaned up and what you're seeing has actually been here for years a lot of this is really old it has built up pretty bad you can see it's kind of wet underneath all these leaves there's bugs living in here this has been up here for a long time guys and I hate to admit this but I have done zero maintenance on the shop since I moved to this property and we've been needing to get up here and do some work for a while you guys have seen that the gutters on this thing have been packed and overflown with plants for years now I see comments every now and then on the videos like yo you guys need to clean your gutters and we're finally getting to that boys it's uh a little sad that it's taking this long I'm honestly not a big fan of climbing up here cuz it is really high up not a big height Sky when it comes to the ladder but now that I've been up here a few times it's not too bad but you can see our gutters right here are completely filled overgrown and they are not even functioning as gutters anymore so while I'm up here I'm going to get the gutters cleaned out I've already started to sweep up this half of the roof here it's looking much better got some final Leaf blowing stuff to do on this half and we'll get that gutter all good to go but I'm going to go ahead and start on all this right here as well and then if you guys didn't see in the last video we have that big old hole right there from one of the limbs that came off of that tree so the main reason I'm up here is to clean a spot around that because we need to get a tarp over that or at least cover it up somehow until we can get a fix for that either we're going to have to fix it ourselves with some new sheet or we'll have someone come out and patch it up properly but it rains a lot in Florida so I wanted to try to get that sealed up as soon as we could so we don't have any rain coming into the shop because that is going right over our toolbox basically and it would just not be ideal so we got some final cleanup to do and a hole to patch up come Ono I don't think these gutters have been cleaned in a very long time look at that thing well that's going to do it for now boys pH this roof was dirty got all that cleaned off as best I could for the time being I still got to find a tarp or something just to throw over that guy we'll get a final clean up I still have to get that backat Gutter and I got this one pretty good I'm going to let the rain take care of the rest I would wash it out but we don't have uh well water right now cuz our electricity is down but I got the gutter nice and cleaned out I mean it is dirty but from what it was it was completely clogged and if you look down at the bottom I made quite a mess so now I got to clean that up but this front side of the gutter is good roof's PR cleaned off then we just got to patch that hole and we're good to go for today but we still have some final cleanup to do up here and we'll have to get that permanently fixed I'm Kyle Wade welcome to Dirty Jobs well guys we've been without power for 2 days and thankfully our power just came back on we were prepared to go a lot longer and we were honestly expecting it to take a lot longer with how much damage was out there to the power lines and everything uh the linemen that came out here have been crushed I know there's still a lot of areas that don't have power thankfully ours did come back on so we're able to get some more done over here because it did set us back quite a bit with the storm coming through there's still a lot without power but luckily our area is starting to get back up and on its feet again that allows us to continue to work on the MR2 cuz as you guys know we are trying to get this thing ready for World Cup and we have less than like two weeks to get it turned around and it's getting real tight so the last couple things we need to do to the car before we can go test it is finish up the fire suppression system that we got showed show you previously and we just have a couple clutch changes that we're making on the slipper setup if you guys look over here why I went ahead and already got our bottle mounted up in the front of the MR2 there for the fire suppression and what's left in there we just got to run the nozzles and yeah so we're waiting on a few fittings from Amazon uh again the hurricane kind of set everything back so you know first world country problems we're waiting on some fittings to show up so we'll have those here in a day or two and then we can finish out the rest of fire suppression we're going to be doing three nozzles so one up here at the fuel tank one in the driver's uh compartment right at about Kyle's feet pointing up at him and then we'll have one back in the engine bay kind of spraying the engine down in case of a fire so we're just like I said waiting on a couple fittings we'll get that thing knocked out and we also uh got most of the clutch stuff done that KY had mentioned so we're just plugging away at this thing lots to do lots of changes were making and again going into World Cup fairly untested but at least we have just like last year like last year but at least we have a fairly good handle on this thing uh we have a lot of good data but it's probably all out the window now that we have a 24 instead of a K20 and uh yeah we we'll go testing see what happens but uh I think it's going to work a lot better all in all we just need to get back to square one and uh get it dialed in to leave right so yeah if you come look over here real quick we also relocated our CO2 bottle that's really just to control our parachute handle so we got the CO2 bottle moved up forward it used to be back here but we mounted it up there just to kind of help get more weight to the front and then I'll grab that if you look right up here we got the handle for the fire supression mounted up so in case of fire we just need to make sure this pins pulled obviously before every pass and I just pull on this red handle right here we try to put it in a spot that's comfortable for me to get to in case you know the car is like upside down or something I need to be able to get to this handle if there's a fire so that guy's mounted right there and we're just about ready to go nothing like getting the MR2 to the biggest drag racing event of the year untested again but yeah especially with new tires so a little bit different tire more torque out of this engine different clutch setup uh yeah it's a lot but I think all of this will play together to make the car go a lot faster in the long run it's just going to depend how quickly we can get it dialed in for about to be the most expensive testing tune we've ever been to but the MR2 should be ready to go I got word that the Billet engine is about to get assembled so here in a second we're going to go over to jbr and take a look at that because they need some things for me that I got got over here to drop off but it's going Billet engine and 24 untested we might get one test day before we go just like last time and then it's off to World Cup with this thing so that's where we're at and up much more involved clutch setup which will be very fun to dial we'll talk about the clutch setup when we actually go to the track it's just a little bit different and between that getting done I also got the spare transmission apart right here because I need to get the final drive changed out of this guy to go back to the taller final drive since we switched to a 24 so I'm getting the backup trans ready I'm going to have the Backup backup cast motor ready so I mean we're going to go with everything we possibly can try to do as best we can at World Cup but yeah let's head over to jbr so I'm over here at jbr these guys got affected by the hurricane as well they were without power for quite some time and I was getting a little worried that the Billet block might not happen for the MR2 for World Cup but they got their power back this weekend and Jason's D was already in here doing some machine work getting this thing knocked out and they're getting really close to getting my Billet K24 assembl for the MR2 and this is my first time seeing the Billet K24 but here she is she just needs to be honed right now right yeah pretty much all that's left is to hone it um and then final deuring and cleaning and assembly final assembly get her together so I'm pumped guys she is coming along it's pretty much just like the Billet K24 I had same company bullet but this is a 24 instead of the K20 and we are also doing three extra heads heads right yeah so this is one of them I have another one there and one in the room yeah so three heads just like how we did on the last one that's currently on the car completely welded so no boost or anything can get into the water jackets if a motor lets go or if it fire slots whatever it would have to really mess some stuff up to get into the cooling system but this is a solid Billet block along with a completely welded head and this thing's going to be good for pretty much everything yeah pretty much whatever the whatever the Piston rods decide to hold that day is what's going to was it going to hold I mean realistically you could make over 2,000 2,000 yeah like the big cars that we ended for 2200 okay we don't have the turbo to go to 2,000 but this block will handle everything we're going to throw at it and it looks like we should hopefully have it done just in time for World Cup it's only two weeks away till we have to leave so this hurricane really kind of set us back yeah set us back a whole week pretty much but it looks like they're still going to get it done these guys over here staying busy so I guess I got here just in time to get this thing on the honer yeah we're going to put Kyle to work today cuz I'm too busy right now so we're going to get him to load it up in the hone do all the processes before and then we can start honing it up all right and then possibly by the end of this week early next week she might be ready for pickup yeah that's the goal nice yep well cool let's get this thing in the honer That's Heavy a lot heavier than the cast block right there that to that point cuz they have little welds on the end so you don't want to clamp the block on those welds on the name then you'll you'll hurt the block pretty much pretty much put a hands with that way you make sure that away this one already has the studs on it so pretty much you just paint the studs with the ARP grease like you would normally make sure the deck is is clean make sure that's clean then you go and torque the head you know pretty big that way so this is called a torque plate right here a torque plate yeah so assimilates pretty much a head being on the Block that way when you hone it it's honed to to what it's going to be like so that simulates the tension that the head studs are putting on things okay instead of just cuz if you just did it without it once you torque it down stuff might tweak it moves yeah you see like sometimes like a th out around at the Top If you have a big step like a big step deck you see a lot of distortion at the top so this eliminates that when it's actually running and then do you torque this to 100 footb uh yeah to whatever we torque the heads to I go to 100 so can I run it or would I mess it up oh right now no I wouldn't let you run it you might mess it up it's a field thing the home all right I won't touch it from here yeah go from there you change the stones to the roughing Stone you start roughing out the cylinder little by little slowly you don't want to go too much then you overheat the block and then to get it straight again it becomes a hassle we go slow especially on the B Block they hold a lot of heat so to cool them down takes a little bit of a long time to getting are all honed out we got one of the MR2 heads over here getting some fresh seats cut out you can see we already got the intakes done right here you can see they're nice and shiny and he just fli the head over to the exhaust side right here got this tool right there with a single blade that goes around to cut and then this simulates the valve stem and it goes through the guide and we'll cut out fresh seats for all three of the new MR2 heads we'll have three Freshies ready to race for World Cup yes sir all right guys they got the the Billet block all honed out here got it cleaned off and it's actually next in line in the engine assembly room over here so they're going to get this thing knocked out here pretty soon and I'm pretty pumped about that this thing is freaking beautiful just like the last one and like I said I was a little worried that we weren't going to get a bill engine in time for the MR2 but it looks like we should be on track to get it in there before we leave to World Cup but we still have a lot to do we still got final testing to do with the cast engine before this one goes in we have changed some things with the clutch slipper and just testing the K24 right before the event is a little nerve-wracking because it is a pretty big difference we're going to have a lot more torque so it might behave differently than the K20 did but either way we're going to have the Billet engine ready to go for World Cup so that means we can hopefully send it out there and uh yeah just wanted to give you guys an update I'm going to go ahead and get out of here because these guys are really busy but we should have a Billet engine here soon so we might not be out of the danger zone yet this tree is definitely leaning more than it was yesterday I called a tree service to hopefully come get this removed before it falls on its own the same Tree Service that was doing our neighbors as you guys saw earlier but they have a lot of work lined up right now they're trying to get over here actually right now I believe I don't know if this thing's going to last another day or two it is leaning so I'm actually moving out everything from underneath it I'm going to get the John Deere out of the shed I already moved the Porsche over I'm going to see if we can get to those cars over there but that is definitely coming down it's sketchy even just kind of looking at it right here so we're going to go ahead try to clear this stuff out and hopefully the tree company gets here before it actually breaks but that just will take a little gentle breeze and I think it's coming down for sure and it would go right on the corner of the shop there could possibly Crush that little shed and definitely we come down onto the carport right here so uh yeah not looking great you can see the angle on that tree a lot better from back here look at that that thing is going to fall very soon so I'm really hoping the tree company gets here but I don't know if they're going to make it in time I don't even think that has more than a couple days before it's going if not today that has a crazy lean to it so luckily there's no wind right now it might hang on for a little bit longer hopefully they can make it but man that is kind of sketch looks like they got here just in time that thing is leaning I set up a camera over there just in case it let go but hopefully these guys get all set up over here and they get it down before it comes down on its own dude these guys are wild you do that Greg those to these guys sending it at this guy he is so high up in that bucket man that sketch oh oh my gosh that is just hanging right over the shop that was a little bchy man they got it though they got it all right the tree service guys are leaving and we got the tree down those guys are crazy that guy in the bucket was just going at it but at least we got that tree down before it fell on its own and did possibly even more damage they're going to come back tomorrow get this pieced up and get it on the side of the road for us because they're just out taking more calls those guys I'm sure are super busy right now so GL we got it down though so I'm on the shop roof one final time before we close this video out guys you can see I got a tarp over this hole over here just a temporary fix to keep water from getting through that guy got some final taping and some weights to throw on that but we need to get that patched up for good and then we got everything else cleaned up over here as far as the gutters go I can't believe how much stuff came out of these gutters guys you saw all the leaves and everything down there there was a lot of crap in there but but this side is all clean good to go just got some debris in there that the rain water will clear out and that should about do it for all the hurricane clean up hopefully you guys don't need to see any more of that but we've been busy the last week just getting everything cleaned up that thing really came through here hard I still have to get this side so this side of the gutters are still completely clogged up you can see the tree that they got cut out of the way for us right there and this is the rest of it that fell that way that was a big old tree boys but now all that's out of the way there's no more Big overhanging Trees over the shop so there's nothing else we really have to worry about for future storms other than these trees out here still and they are leaning a little bit more than they used to so we'll have to keep that in mind as future storms come through but that's going to do it for this video guys hope you enjoyed we should have the MR2 up and running with the buet engine for World Cup so we're pumped on that we're going to get back to our regular schedule content now that this hurricane clean Up's just about over so hope you guys enjoyed and we'll see you later don't forget to get in Florida so I wanted to try to get that sealed up as soon as we could so we don't have any rain coming into the shop because that is going right over our toolbox basically and it would just not be ideal so we got some final cleanup to do and a hole to patch up come Ono I don't think these gutters have been cleaned in a very long time look at that thing well that's going to do it for now boys pH this roof was dirty got all that cleaned off as best I could for the time being I still got to find a tarp or something just to throw over that guy we'll get a final clean up I still have to get that backat Gutter and I got this one pretty good I'm going to let the rain take care of the rest I would wash it out but we don't have uh well water right now cuz our electricity is down but I got the gutter nice and cleaned out I mean it is dirty but from what it was it was completely clogged and if you look down at the bottom I made quite a mess so now I got to clean that up but this front side of the gutter is good roof's PR cleaned off then we just got to patch that hole and we're good to go for today but we still have some final cleanup to do up here and we'll have to get that permanently fixed I'm Kyle Wade welcome to Dirty Jobs well guys we've been without power for 2 days and thankfully our power just came back on we were prepared to go a lot longer and we were honestly expecting it to take a lot longer with how much damage was out there to the power lines and everything uh the linemen that came out here have been crushed I know there's still a lot of areas that don't have power thankfully ours did come back on so we're able to get some more done over here because it did set us back quite a bit with the storm coming through there's still a lot without power but luckily our area is starting to get back up and on its feet again that allows us to continue to work on the MR2 cuz as you guys know we are trying to get this thing ready for World Cup and we have less than like two weeks to get it turned around and it's getting real tight so the last couple things we need to do to the car before we can go test it is finish up the fire suppression system that we got showed show you previously and we just have a couple clutch changes that we're making on the slipper setup if you guys look over here why I went ahead and already got our bottle mounted up in the front of the MR2 there for the fire suppression and what's left in there we just got to run the nozzles and yeah so we're waiting on a few fittings from Amazon uh again the hurricane kind of set everything back so you know first world country problems we're waiting on some fittings to show up so we'll have those here in a day or two and then we can finish out the rest of fire suppression we're going to be doing three nozzles so one up here at the fuel tank one in the driver's uh compartment right at about Kyle's feet pointing up at him and then we'll have one back in the engine bay kind of spraying the engine down in case of a fire so we're just like I said waiting on a couple fittings we'll get that thing knocked out and we also uh got most of the clutch stuff done that KY had mentioned so we're just plugging away at this thing lots to do lots of changes were making and again going into World Cup fairly untested but at least we have just like last year like last year but at least we have a fairly good handle on this thing uh we have a lot of good data but it's probably all out the window now that we have a 24 instead of a K20 and uh yeah we we'll go testing see what happens but uh I think it's going to work a lot better all in all we just need to get back to square one and uh get it dialed in to leave right so yeah if you come look over here real quick we also relocated our CO2 bottle that's really just to control our parachute handle so we got the CO2 bottle moved up forward it used to be back here but we mounted it up there just to kind of help get more weight to the front and then I'll grab that if you look right up here we got the handle for the fire supression mounted up so in case of fire we just need to make sure this pins pulled obviously before every pass and I just pull on this red handle right here we try to put it in a spot that's comfortable for me to get to in case you know the car is like upside down or something I need to be able to get to this handle if there's a fire so that guy's mounted right there and we're just about ready to go nothing like getting the MR2 to the biggest drag racing event of the year untested again but yeah especially with new tires so a little bit different tire more torque out of this engine different clutch setup uh yeah it's a lot but I think all of this will play together to make the car go a lot faster in the long run it's just going to depend how quickly we can get it dialed in for about to be the most expensive testing tune we've ever been to but the MR2 should be ready to go I got word that the Billet engine is about to get assembled so here in a second we're going to go over to jbr and take a look at that because they need some things for me that I got got over here to drop off but it's going Billet engine and 24 untested we might get one test day before we go just like last time and then it's off to World Cup with this thing so that's where we're at and up much more involved clutch setup which will be very fun to dial we'll talk about the clutch setup when we actually go to the track it's just a little bit different and between that getting done I also got the spare transmission apart right here because I need to get the final drive changed out of this guy to go back to the taller final drive since we switched to a 24 so I'm getting the backup trans ready I'm going to have the Backup backup cast motor ready so I mean we're going to go with everything we possibly can try to do as best we can at World Cup but yeah let's head over to jbr so I'm over here at jbr these guys got affected by the hurricane as well they were without power for quite some time and I was getting a little worried that the Billet block might not happen for the MR2 for World Cup but they got their power back this weekend and Jason's D was already in here doing some machine work getting this thing knocked out and they're getting really close to getting my Billet K24 assembl for the MR2 and this is my first time seeing the Billet K24 but here she is she just needs to be honed right now right yeah pretty much all that's left is to hone it um and then final deuring and cleaning and assembly final assembly get her together so I'm pumped guys she is coming along it's pretty much just like the Billet K24 I had same company bullet but this is a 24 instead of the K20 and we are also doing three extra heads heads right yeah so this is one of them I have another one there and one in the room yeah so three heads just like how we did on the last one that's currently on the car completely welded so no boost or anything can get into the water jackets if a motor lets go or if it fire slots whatever it would have to really mess some stuff up to get into the cooling system but this is a solid Billet block along with a completely welded head and this thing's going to be good for pretty much everything yeah pretty much whatever the whatever the Piston rods decide to hold that day is what's going to was it going to hold I mean realistically you could make over 2,000 2,000 yeah like the big cars that we ended for 2200 okay we don't have the turbo to go to 2,000 but this block will handle everything we're going to throw at it and it looks like we should hopefully have it done just in time for World Cup it's only two weeks away till we have to leave so this hurricane really kind of set us back yeah set us back a whole week pretty much but it looks like they're still going to get it done these guys over here staying busy so I guess I got here just in time to get this thing on the honer yeah we're going to put Kyle to work today cuz I'm too busy right now so we're going to get him to load it up in the hone do all the processes before and then we can start honing it up all right and then possibly by the end of this week early next week she might be ready for pickup yeah that's the goal nice yep well cool let's get this thing in the honer That's Heavy a lot heavier than the cast block right there that to that point cuz they have little welds on the end so you don't want to clamp the block on those welds on the name then you'll you'll hurt the block pretty much pretty much put a hands with that way you make sure that away this one already has the studs on it so pretty much you just paint the studs with the ARP grease like you would normally make sure the deck is is clean make sure that's clean then you go and torque the head you know pretty big that way so this is called a torque plate right here a torque plate yeah so assimilates pretty much a head being on the Block that way when you hone it it's honed to to what it's going to be like so that simulates the tension that the head studs are putting on things okay instead of just cuz if you just did it without it once you torque it down stuff might tweak it moves yeah you see like sometimes like a th out around at the Top If you have a big step like a big step deck you see a lot of distortion at the top so this eliminates that when it's actually running and then do you torque this to 100 footb uh yeah to whatever we torque the heads to I go to 100 so can I run it or would I mess it up oh right now no I wouldn't let you run it you might mess it up it's a field thing the home all right I won't touch it from here yeah go from there you change the stones to the roughing Stone you start roughing out the cylinder little by little slowly you don't want to go too much then you overheat the block and then to get it straight again it becomes a hassle we go slow especially on the B Block they hold a lot of heat so to cool them down takes a little bit of a long time to getting are all honed out we got one of the MR2 heads over here getting some fresh seats cut out you can see we already got the intakes done right here you can see they're nice and shiny and he just fli the head over to the exhaust side right here got this tool right there with a single blade that goes around to cut and then this simulates the valve stem and it goes through the guide and we'll cut out fresh seats for all three of the new MR2 heads we'll have three Freshies ready to race for World Cup yes sir all right guys they got the the Billet block all honed out here got it cleaned off and it's actually next in line in the engine assembly room over here so they're going to get this thing knocked out here pretty soon and I'm pretty pumped about that this thing is freaking beautiful just like the last one and like I said I was a little worried that we weren't going to get a bill engine in time for the MR2 but it looks like we should be on track to get it in there before we leave to World Cup but we still have a lot to do we still got final testing to do with the cast engine before this one goes in we have changed some things with the clutch slipper and just testing the K24 right before the event is a little nerve-wracking because it is a pretty big difference we're going to have a lot more torque so it might behave differently than the K20 did but either way we're going to have the Billet engine ready to go for World Cup so that means we can hopefully send it out there and uh yeah just wanted to give you guys an update I'm going to go ahead and get out of here because these guys are really busy but we should have a Billet engine here soon so we might not be out of the danger zone yet this tree is definitely leaning more than it was yesterday I called a tree service to hopefully come get this removed before it falls on its own the same Tree Service that was doing our neighbors as you guys saw earlier but they have a lot of work lined up right now they're trying to get over here actually right now I believe I don't know if this thing's going to last another day or two it is leaning so I'm actually moving out everything from underneath it I'm going to get the John Deere out of the shed I already moved the Porsche over I'm going to see if we can get to those cars over there but that is definitely coming down it's sketchy even just kind of looking at it right here so we're going to go ahead try to clear this stuff out and hopefully the tree company gets here before it actually breaks but that just will take a little gentle breeze and I think it's coming down for sure and it would go right on the corner of the shop there could possibly Crush that little shed and definitely we come down onto the carport right here so uh yeah not looking great you can see the angle on that tree a lot better from back here look at that that thing is going to fall very soon so I'm really hoping the tree company gets here but I don't know if they're going to make it in time I don't even think that has more than a couple days before it's going if not today that has a crazy lean to it so luckily there's no wind right now it might hang on for a little bit longer hopefully they can make it but man that is kind of sketch looks like they got here just in time that thing is leaning I set up a camera over there just in case it let go but hopefully these guys get all set up over here and they get it down before it comes down on its own dude these guys are wild you do that Greg those to these guys sending it at this guy he is so high up in that bucket man that sketch oh oh my gosh that is just hanging right over the shop that was a little bchy man they got it though they got it all right the tree service guys are leaving and we got the tree down those guys are crazy that guy in the bucket was just going at it but at least we got that tree down before it fell on its own and did possibly even more damage they're going to come back tomorrow get this pieced up and get it on the side of the road for us because they're just out taking more calls those guys I'm sure are super busy right now so GL we got it down though so I'm on the shop roof one final time before we close this video out guys you can see I got a tarp over this hole over here just a temporary fix to keep water from getting through that guy got some final taping and some weights to throw on that but we need to get that patched up for good and then we got everything else cleaned up over here as far as the gutters go I can't believe how much stuff came out of these gutters guys you saw all the leaves and everything down there there was a lot of crap in there but but this side is all clean good to go just got some debris in there that the rain water will clear out and that should about do it for all the hurricane clean up hopefully you guys don't need to see any more of that but we've been busy the last week just getting everything cleaned up that thing really came through here hard I still have to get this side so this side of the gutters are still completely clogged up you can see the tree that they got cut out of the way for us right there and this is the rest of it that fell that way that was a big old tree boys but now all that's out of the way there's no more Big overhanging Trees over the shop so there's nothing else we really have to worry about for future storms other than these trees out here still and they are leaning a little bit more than they used to so we'll have to keep that in mind as future storms come through but that's going to do it for this video guys hope you enjoyed we should have the MR2 up and running with the buet engine for World Cup so we're pumped on that we're going to get back to our regular schedule content now that this hurricane clean Up's just about over so hope you guys enjoyed and we'll see you later don't forget to get entered in the giveaway it is live\n"
