**FineTune T 669 Microphone Review: A Great Option for Gaming and Podcasting**
I'm excited to share my review of the FineTune T 669 microphone, a great option for gamers and podcasters alike. But before I dive into the review, let me just check a few things... *fiddles with settings*
Ah, yes! It seems we have a bit of background noise even while I'm talking. But that's not too bad, right? *checks fan speed* Ah, perfect! The fan is on three still, and my voice should be clear.
Now, let's get started! One thing to note about this microphone is the extreme wind conditions test. When I put my fan on three, it was pretty close to being distorted... but not quite. However, when I turned it up to six-speed, that's when things got a bit crazy. The background noise was still acceptable, and my voice came through clear.
But what about at max gain? *pauses* Ah, yes! That's when the microphone truly shone. Even with the fan on maximum speed, there was no issue with distortion. And the mic performed even better at lower gains - around 50%. This is where I usually keep my mics.
Speaking of the package, I'm really impressed with what comes in the box. The included stand is a great bonus if you need to mount your arm or can't use it on your desk.
Now, one thing that's missing from this microphone is a touch mute button - something my mono mic has. However, considering the price point, I wouldn't expect this feature anyway.
Overall, guys, I think the FineTune T 669 is an amazing microphone for its price. It's perfect for gamers and podcasters who want high-quality sound without breaking the bank. And if you're looking for a great mic, I'd definitely recommend it - just be aware of the background noise at extreme wind conditions.

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello boys and girls and people all over world of YouTube it is me and I'm back and we're going to do a asked for video that's right sometimes you ask can I do and people were asking me for a cheaper alternative to the manual microphone I use when I'm doing my live streams and I'll leave a link to this video somewhere around wherever in this video and there is a beautiful alternative to it and I want to get right to it it is the fine fine key six six nine microphone and what we're gonna do we're gonna go straight to what's in the box and then we're going to go through the test and I'll give you my full thoughts especially after using the Meno for so long so let's just sit right back you're not subscribe hit that subscribe button because I'm always doing something just for you guys that was weird that was really weird people might be watching greeted with a beautiful fold-out instruction manual telling you everything about the product placement just you know well done like the color fine finds always been really good for that and your welcome card bookmark you can use it for a book I think I've said that before but look at that it's a perfect bookmark behind fine bookmark the wind sock or wind guard well nicely done here that's actually a little better than the last ones I've seen what do we have here so you actually have I guess it might be extra the elastics for the shock mount softening breaks or you need more they're right here and just looking like a 3m sticker sticky thing here so that's kind of cool you do get a full wind sock yep usb-cable very thick very thick oh I like this oh wow so aluminum NC the shaved that is a really nice touch actually very nice touch fine fine right on the USB cable all brushed aluminum now that is a cool added touch shock mount like any other shock mount of course you just have your elastic springs here for your movement and play of the shock but they are always well done and they work this is this an all plastic one there's no metal in this one except for of course on the threading but of than that does a job and this is rubberized right here so that's kind of neat no scissors stand is pretty much like anybody else's scissors stand just has an adapter here that can come off for different size mics of course the stand mount so you've just you know screw it on to your desk or wherever you're going to put it which is pretty standard with any of these scissors stands now there's something cool it's all a metal except for up here and it's actually a desktop stand if you don't want to use a scissor stand in some cases this is actually really better the scissor stand is great if you have the space and you're able to move it away but if you don't they actually included the desktop stand which is actually a beautiful touch then of course you have the microphone now the microphone only one thing I didn't like about this mic by looking at it right off the bat was it didn't have a touch mute button like my man oh does but that doesn't make it a bad thing it just makes it a little harder to do to mute whereas I just touch it on my mono and mute it but you do have your game right here which is great I wouldn't even want to mic today without the gain at least on the microphone the body is all metal so that's kind of nice all the framing here is all metal I don't know if the camera sees it but there's actually a little thing coming up here with the microphone going around like that's kind of neat kind of a really nice cool design I guess now it's just on to testing it out so let's just get right to the sound testing and what we're gonna do is we're going to test it under wind conditions we're going to go for low background noise so basically silence it's hard to do in here especially what other things running I want to see if it picks it up because this machine I have the fans turned up it's my gaming machine so there's always a hum from it in the studio and actually there's a whole lot of new changes to the studio so there's a lot of noise going on in here and then we're going to do gain test so we're gonna go mid get a like low gain packin full gain see how that performs and just give you my overall thoughts of this microphone so let's just get right back to it sit back relax grab a beer grab a Diet Pepsi I said Pepsi if you're a coke drinker then your coke drinker anyway sometimes you might've just want to grab a Perrier for the test of the fine fine tea six six nine first test we're actually going to test this microphone at low gain so this is low gain no fans on no other than regular background noise going on let's see what you think now we are at half gain and with half gain the same exact environment only what's on in the background no extra fans on or anything like that going this is just half gain on the t66 nine and i'm about eight inches away from the microphone it's gonna make that clear all my testing is gonna be about eight inches away and I could go all the way back here and see what that sounds like about we could do that also the gain is maxed on the t6 69 at about eight inches away still with the same environment in the background so now we are at max game this is the loud this is the loud me my radio voice that's scary with just my background noise that I have now is I'm just gonna stop talking at full game okay so now the mic is at half gain now I'm going to be quiet once again be quiet that's funny and see if there's any background noise now on the T 669 we're at low gain so I'm just about at the point where I would pretty much turn to gain off and we're just going to sit back relax and see if there's any background noise but now for this next test we're going to take my trusty controller here we're going to turn on the wind tunnel and we're going to put it at 3 first which is the fan speed that I would use during gaming at all times to keep myself somewhat cool in this hot room so we're going to turn it on now we're gonna go to 3 adjust the fan to come at the microphone come on then the fan is now hitting the microphone so my fan is on 3 speed right now this is where I would stay the coolest and I just want to know is there background noise at the lowest gain okay now we're going to half game is still on three we're at half game do I pick up any fan noise and even while I'm talking I guess it would be disruptions or distortions but now we're on full game the fan is on three still and let's see during my talk anything now I should be on the highest pickup game is there any Distortion now on the find find T 669 we're gonna go under extreme or what I'll call extreme weight conditions by putting my fan to six-speed we are on the lowest gain now I guess is to find out if my voice is getting distorted is there background noise now we have the game set at halfway fan is still on speed six the maximum my fan can do is there background noise is my voice distorted well let me know now we are on max gain is there background noise how is it is it crazy should we just smash the mic off the wall or is it awesome so the 556 69 is definitely a great mic overall at max game I found the mic to be a little intrusive at the 8 inch spacing you definitely do not need that much game but at the same time it's nice that you can possibly do that if you're going to be somewhere else across the room so for example if I'm way over here and I want to adjust that game it won't be so intrusive versus being closer to the mic that being said this mic is definitely great at about 50% gain that is where I pretty much keep most of my mics I believe this one is just under 50 percents probably at about 40% and that's one thing I expected and hope for around that areas where you want to be so you're not too overbearing in your live streams or coming off to anybody in a presentation as far as what comes in the box this kit is actually pretty full the included stand is a really big bonus if you cannot mount your arm so you can put that down have it wherever you want on your desk and I thought that was a great addition to the package now that being said the only downside I have with this microphone 1 under extreme wind conditions yes we heard background noise and let's face it that's to be somewhat expected but it wasn't to the point where it was unbarring if I was talking it still came off very clear so I was still impressed with it but it was definitely noise in the background he did not just Dork my voice until of course it distorted itself at max gain so again at 50% gains the noise in the background with the fan on were acceptable and my voice was still clear now on three so my fan speed at three so the fan air was still hitting the microphone but it was quiet the mic did pass that test for me so that is great because moving forward this is probably going to be my voice over mic or if anybody else after co bid gets to come and be in my studio and be part of the podcast live with me here and not remote there's a second microphone that is quite decent so for the money and the quality of bill I say that this is a great purchase the only only negative thing that I give this microphone is the fact that it didn't have a touch mute button like my mono does but again we are not in the same price point we're about 50 $60 in difference here I wouldn't expect that on there it would be an amazing feature if it was on there this would be like the winner of winners for microphones because who needs to be in extreme wind conditions on a microphone built like this it is not meant for it and it still did a great test to it so overall guys I think the fine 5 t 669 is a great microphone for your money definitely win I won't even Amazon link down below which is also an affiliate link so it helps the channel if you're looking for a microphone please use that link and if you're happy with everything of course give me a thumbs up if you hated my video then give me a thumbs down thank you but anyway other than that guys thank you for watching I hope you enjoyed if you are looking for a great microphone for gaming podcasting video contest you're just a microphone in general that you can put on a swing arm that gets out of your way when not needed then I definitely recommend the fine fine six six nine till next time guys game
