Close It I Can't Just Slam it Shut Like I'm Some Kind of Caveman Closing the Tailgate of My Ford F-150
I have to gently lower it down and then once it gets to the bottom, gently push and close it. This is not how you typically shut a car door, especially one as sleek and futuristic as the Tesla Model 3. The Model 3 is a marvel of modern engineering, with features that make driving in the past seem like a relic of a bygone era. But despite its cutting-edge technology, the Model 3's design still holds onto some old-fashioned sensibilities. One of those is the absence of traditional gauges on the dashboard.
The Tesla Model 3 does not come equipped with traditional dials for monitoring speed, RPMs, or other vital signs during a drive. Instead, all that information is available on a massive central infotainment screen, affectionately referred to as "the mammoth screen" by yours truly. This behemoth of a display offers an unparalleled level of customization and interactivity, allowing drivers to access everything from navigation systems to streaming services with ease. Whether you're cruising down the highway or exploring the twists and turns of a winding road, this massive screen is always at your fingertips.
One of the most interesting features of the Model 3 is its "theater option," which allows users to select from a range of entertainment choices – including Hulu, Netflix, and YouTube. For those who enjoy watching movies or listening to music while on the go, this feature offers an unparalleled level of convenience. And for those who are looking to unwind after a long day, it's the perfect way to pass the time.
Revisiting Old Haunts with Autopilot
Sawyer and I regrouped and decided to revisit what had worked so well for us in the past using autopilot features in responsibly. Seriously guys don't do this at home – I know it looks like fun, but just don't do it. Professional drivers post coaster net Seb Wow nope deals over the years which one of us is being less safe me the guy going through your backpack or the guy without a seatbelt – I'm it.
It was finally time to do what we set out to do surprise my brother with his amazing new machine. We met up at Nick Tahoe's home of the original garbage play and told him to meet us out back where we said we were setting up for an establishing shot. I told him we had rented a Tesla to get up to Rochester, and asked if it would hurt his feelings too much to use the summon feature to call it over. He said yes, but of course I did it anyway.
The Other Reason We Came
Well, the other thing that I didn't tell you is that we're actually not here to film a garbage plate special. Why would I do that? That's your car, torch – that's your car. You went to the hospital; I felt I felt uh no you desert you deserve if anybody I know deserves an electric car it sounds like that's you I deserve nothing – no I know that I just sprung that on you pretty quick with it. But if that's a if that's what again, a kidney stone gets you where is the milk? If anybody that I know deserves a Tesla it's David.
And then when when you win the hospital and that like got you some medical bills and that just killed the the dream I was like no way not on my watch. I know it's a lot – so check it out, and we did use it to drive up here. So we borrowed this car from you for a minute – I know we're shoving the cameras in your face but no you got to figure that out no I mean you got to get yourself to the airport somehow.
We Did Take This Car
We'll go pick it up okay, we'll take this will take you Subaru yeah yeah well you want to go for a spend let's go for a spin stew – it. Though it was revealed that of course we were not here to shoot a garbage plate special, we decided to head back to Nick Tahoe's and get some of the Rochester specialty for ourselves.
A True Surprise
I can think of no better way to celebrate getting a new car David really deserved his dream car and he proved it a few days later when he excitedly told me he had pulled his own being with babish moment after selling his old car. He used thousands of dollars from the sale to sponsor a group of kids to attend technology camp in the hopes of helping fuel the next generation of Engineers.
The Ripple Effect
I've always known that kindness has a ripple effect – it reaches out and touches many more lives than those that started with. Seeing yet another example of it makes me even more excited to keep making being with babish until then, keep cooking I will if you will.
Driving the Model 3: A Newfound Barbaric Feeling
We just went from one of the most advanced cars on the planet to this old old car – and it's got a weird feeling to it. Driving the Model 3 is like stepping into a different era – one where gas-guzzlers ruled the road and electric cars were a distant dream. For me, at least, the experience was almost primal.
Stepping into the Past with Each Turn of the Wheel
As I put the pedal to the metal and feel the rush of adrenaline course through my veins, it's like I'm reliving memories from another time – one where driving was about power, speed, and raw emotion. The world outside recedes as I focus on the road ahead, the sound of the engine purring smoothly beneath me.
A Journey Through Time
This is not just a car ride; it's an experience that transcends the boundaries of time and space. It's a journey through history, one that challenges my perceptions of what driving should be. As I navigate the twists and turns of the road, I'm reminded that even in this era of electric cars and advanced technology, there's still room for adventure – for discovery – and for embracing the unknown.
The Soundtrack of the Journey
As I drive through the city streets, the soundtrack of the journey plays on – a symphony of sound that ebbs and flows with each turn of the wheel. The hum of the engine, the whine of the tires, the rush of wind against the windows – it's music to my ears.
The End of an Era
For me, at least, this is the end of an era. A time when driving was about raw emotion and primal connection with the road ahead. But as I come to a stop in front of the Model 3, I know that the journey has only just begun – one that will take me through the realms of the unknown, where electric cars rule supreme and the world is full of possibilities.
A New Era Begins
As I step out of the car and onto the pavement, I'm met with a bright future stretching out before me like an open road. The Tesla Model 3 may be just a machine to some – but to me, it's so much more: a symbol of innovation, of progress, and of the limitless potential that lies ahead.
