Mi Soundbar Review - Amazing Sound On a Budget

it's known as the me sound bar so I'm going to give you an idea how it is I have been actually testing this for the last one week so I'll tell you what's good about this and what are the things that I do not like about this one and the good thing is that the pricing is actually very aggressive they launched this in India for just rupees 5000 bucks let's have a closer look at this one now so guys this is the top view and we see buttons over here this is for the volume control master level here and there but again if we notice we don't have any other indications over here and these are just for your inputs as we are right now connected via bluetooth this one is on but you can move to opsin line s/pdif and optical so you control it via that and nothing else is there no other indicators are there on this one apart from that so pretty basic I would say and you also don't get a remote controller with this one moving to port sits on the back let me show you so here are all the ports this is the power on/off switch your power adaptor that is supplied goes in over here this is digital out that cable Toslink cable is actually supplied in the box this is coax and it is but again the cable is not in the box you have to get it and this can be actually used as a me if you have very old television that have AV left hand draw right channel can be used with that and this is a 3.5 mm if you can use this directly to connect your smartphones and even some older TVs actually have that one thing to notice that we don't have anything like a HDMI input or something so guys this is the sound bar and this is how actually it will look if you place it around your TV and it's about two and a half feet as you can see I've just placed it here and Xiaomi hasn't mentioned us about the wattage rating but when I played this I was pleasantly surprised and also it had slight depth let me display some royalty free tracks too I don't know how well it will translate because I'm recording that vibe my microphone and then you are playing it on your what do you say smartphone or your computer speaker but let me just give you a very quick idea operated with mine or what you say phone using bluetooth and we're just gonna play some tracks I'm trying to lower the volume it can go actually very very loud I'm going to increase the volume guys but my mic has a limiter so maybe it won't translate but it can go really really loud after actually again to make you hear so loud and so the volume it can definitely go very loud and even in medium-sized room it will be very loud you don't have to worry let me also try to play one more track the Sugino royalty-free track so I hope that gives you a idea about the sound and I'll surprise that even depth and stuff was there let me now do one thing let me connect it back to the television using the Bluetooth but you can also use optical art I feel optical out as the best way to connect it and to pair it as you can see you see the sound bar I just click it and now it's painting so that's how you pair it to a bluetooth but the problem is that only one device can be actually connected at a time for the Guru then it doesn't remember the other devices but anyways movies also it's a great obviously let me actually play a trailer this is black panther to give you an idea I seen men build weapons that I couldn't even imagine unions from spy yeah so that gives you an idea for movies also it actually gives a very immersive experience and to be frank I was really surprised with the sound output without the subwoofer also we do get that bass effect which was very surprising the curse may I have tested quite a few sound birds and you simply don't get that without the subwoofer I won't say it's as effective as a dedicated servo for but we do have quite a bit of depth on this one so what do I feel about this me sound bar I would say it sounds amazing as I have shown you earlier and first let's talk about the pricing because when I got this about a week ago the Xiaomi didn't disclose me the pricing so they were hinting that it will be around 6 to 7,000 rupees but I'm very glad that they have launched it at 5,000 rupees and at 5000 rupees this is amazing nothing can even touch it at that price point because I have reviewed other some bars also for example if you recall my channel about about 2 months ago I had reviewed this JBL studio Samba this is retailing for about 9500 but on the Amazon sales and stuff it goes down to about 7500 - a ton but still there is a price gap of over 2500 to 3000 if we compare to this one and in terms of some definitely this one sounds way better than even the JBL samba but I mean this sambar is not perfect but there are some things that are missing on this sound bar that we generally found in Sambas for example there is no remote controller on this one so for even when the volume etc you are controlling of the TV you have to use the TV remote more dedicated remote is there so also we do not have any sound profile generally in some bars we have some sound profiles like movie mode music mode and stuff like that we have nothing like that on this one there is just what a test is that it is there is nothing you can customise the sound and stuff like that also going to inputs yes it has s/pdif optical and others AV and all those things but we don't have anything like HDMI or HDMI our I actually want some bars have that so that is actually sorely missing but we do have Bluetooth and it works as I've showed you so in terms of features of 1/2 - rated let's actually rate it now in terms of features I would not rate it very highly and in terms of features I would rate it about let's say six point five out of ten but now when it comes to sound for the price guys price as a consideration here I was amazed with the sound overall sound quality was very good as you've heard but efforts were reiated this is very surprising I didn't expect that the base will be that world and I think so they have been an incredible job in fact this one actually has eight drivers and I was surprised with the base so in terms of base I would rate it 8.5 out of 10 considering the fact that it does not have a dedicated subwoofer the base is really good now coming to the mid-tones and stuff this is very important for movies there was the dialogue delivery etc should be very clear this was also very clear on this and here I would written 9 out of 10 and also the high frequencies and stuff let's say glass cracking and stop that was also very clearly produced and that is also 9 out of 10 so overall if we talk about the some quality just the sound quality I would rate it 9 out of 10 considering the price point of this device and overall I would say it gets a rating of about eight point five loses some points because of that no remote and other features that I have mentioned but in terms of price I am very happy about the price and for the pricing I would say from you got a very good job it gets a 10 out of 10 so a very good sound bar if you don't have a sound bar and you wanted a great sound bar in a budget this is the one I have earlier I used to recommend with JBL but this is definitely better than the JBL in terms of sound and again I would such as go to local me stores and stuff and hear it for yourself and then you can decide how good a test so anyways guys dollars for
