Daddy's Morning Coffee Run

As I watched my dad run out to get more coffee this morning, I couldn't help but wonder what he would find at the store. And guess what? He found figures! Although it wasn't immediately obvious, I've yet to remove a Hask Thug from its packaging. I was already excited because I had Han Solo, and now I got duplicates, even though this particular box isn't in great condition. The plan was to take apart the contents of the box and put them back together again, but pixie should remain in one piece, so that's what we'll do.

I was planning on doing a PILLOX of tech and travel collectibles today, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. Jedi decided she wanted to help mommy make eggs, so now I'm the only one left to open the Hask Thug by myself. And yes, I have another one of these figures that's still carded. Finn is a bit of an odd figure because while I unboxed him the other day, it was part of the first wave, and these new ones are part of the next wave. It feels like egg soup when I open them up - every bite has a hair in it!

Jedi asked if she could follow in my footsteps, which is what makes me Leonardo or Michelangelo or Donatello or Raphael. Eric captured one of the moments from this morning's TLRD perfectly. The fridge was completely empty, except for chocolate sauce and ketchup. And yes, some Parmesan cheese too! My parents are going to be visiting for a while again, so I'm trying to get everything ready. I pulled up some old home movies that were taken when I was younger - one of my favorite memories is playing the toy piano with my grandfather.

Playing with my grandfather brought back memories of eating raisins and birthday cakes when I was young. The quality of home movies from back then wasn't great, but at least we have the memories. That's why I keep vlogging for Jedi, so she can watch these videos when she's my age, which is going to be a long time from now. She's lucky enough that her movies will come with sound!

I woke up at 5:00 AM and went out to get coffee at 7:00 AM. This was my third cup of coffee for the day already! The guest room has a new organizational scheme, or maybe it's just a transitional one. I'm not sure if I'm thrilled with the placement of everything yet. The guest room has a new TV, but we're still waiting to get it donated.

On the other hand, Diana's room is looking great, and she got to try on some stickers after her bath. She's been trying to rip off the sticker before we can take a photo of it. It was Valentine's Day when I got her that cookie tin with Darth Vader and candy inside. And guess what? We finally got Jedi to sit still long enough to snap a non-blurry photo!

In this photo, Ahsoka is in the side pocket, and Jedi is holding on to Darth Vader. The master and the apprentice are being a fun duo! I remember these stickers from when they were first released, but now we own them. Why does this one look more accurate? Putting your left heel here, right foot there... it's like playing Twister! Zach sent us something very fragile.

When it comes to what we're having for dinner tonight, we'll be using either a Stormtrooper Bowl or an R2-D2 bowl because that's what the Netflix stream team sent us. Otherwise, I wouldn't have eaten anything today. But that's not all - they also sent four dinner plates with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader, C-3PO and R2-D2, and Boba Fett as options!

Who wants to go bowling tonight? If you're going with me, can I have Darth Vader and Ben Kenobi as my partners? You could have R2-D2 and C-3PO or Boba Fett or Solo and Chewbacca! As for the final box... did you guess what's inside? Most likely Forks, but we won't find out until tomorrow. Why not take a fourth cup of coffee today?
