The Sega Saturn: A Collector's Paradise

As a Virtua Fighter fan, I was thrilled to pick up one of the most iconic games of all time, Virtua Fighter 2, in its long box complete package. The graphics on this game were revolutionary for its time, with polygonal shapes and rounded features that made it look stunning on the Saturn console. I also have a read-everywhere complete no box of Tomb Raider which was another exciting pick up.

The Sega Saturn was a powerhouse of a console in its time, offering an incredible gaming experience with its 3D graphics capabilities. The Virtua Fighter franchise was one of the pioneers of 3D fighting games, and Virtua Fighter 2 is still widely regarded as one of the best games of all time. I've always been a fan of point-and-click adventure games like Zort, and Virtua Fighter 2 was a great addition to my collection.

I missed is actually a very popular franchise, so it's still pretty cool for what it was. The game was a PC title that was later converted to play on consoles, with players moving forward by pointing and clicking or moving left right. It's just basically a point-and-click puzzle-solving adventure game, kind of like Zort but with video.

The Saturn had some amazing games, including Virtua Fighter 2 and Tomb Raider. Tomb Raider was another exciting pick up for me, which I played on the PC and later on the console. The PC version looked sharper and more detailed, but the console version still held up well. I also have a read-everywhere complete no box of Tomb Raider which was another exciting pick up.

The Saturn was also known for its unique controller, which featured a 3D pad that allowed players to experience immersive 3D gaming. The 3D controller was a game-changer at the time and added a new level of excitement to games like Virtua Fighter 2.

Unfortunately, my pickup did not include any other Saturn titles today, but I'm still excited to add these games to my collection. I think it's great that we can look back on the Saturn era and appreciate its innovative games and technology.

The Sega Saturn was an incredible console that pushed the boundaries of gaming technology. Its 3D graphics capabilities and unique controller made it a standout in the market, and games like Virtua Fighter 2 and Tomb Raider showcased its potential. As a collector, I'm thrilled to have added these titles to my collection, and I look forward to playing them for years to come.

I don't know if I can play it this way I would have to probably on a PC if I was going to enjoy it again but you know to each their own the Saturn had it and that is pretty cool hey guys the pride and joy of this pickup as a Virtua Fighter fan Virtua Fighter 2 long box complete this is absolutely beautiful this is when the graphics took a new turn we got rid of the squares we got rid of the circles of the polygons a shaped mouth they rounded them out they made things so nice and sharp the game looked gorgeous for its time and at the same time its attack on from Tekken from the PlayStation 1 franchise they did the same thing they sharpened out being rounded out they did everything as well so they were you know they were slugging it out pretty good but in the end I believe the Virtua Fighter franchise was definitely the better franchise to have and I still say that to this day as I think that overall I do adore the tekken franchise I actually like it but if I had to go head to head a Virtua Fighter series would win for me every time.

Last but not least, I got a read-everywhere complete no box of Tomb Raider which was another exciting pick up. I bought this thinking there was more but unfortunately Tomb Raider was the only game I needed now Tomb Raider of course I played this franchise on the PC and of course the PC looked a little sharper a little better but looking back at it now it doesn't look a whole lot different I do find playing it on the Saturn now without any upscaling or anything it does kind of have that dated look kind of that blur there's too much going on but it's just a great game and a hollow hollowness of the sound effects and everything you can tell how things evolved if you look you know that Tomb Raider now and Tomb Raider then of course we're looking at totally different ball game but we're also looking at totally different eras and this game was definitely a head turner when it came out on the Saturn and PlayStation 1 and so on but we're talking about the Saturn and we don't care about the PlayStation one today we got Saturn Olympian you know what it's a game I did play through quite well what I liked about on the PC of course was all the mods you know you can play with her nude I know that sounds crazy but you could at the time you could do okay even though it did not look very good back then it looked horrible even I think that's cool.

about it so let's just get right to it that's the starters of course we got two original Sega Saturn and game pads and we got the 3e pad that made me happy to know and this made my day I didn't care if I picked anything else up all day that made my day so the system everything it's all working I had to change the battery in it to make the clock and everything all go back to normal which you would expect in something as this era so battery was changed now everything was cleaned up what did I get with it I was so excited at the 3d pad nothing could get better than that but we'll start off of course with the Virtua Fighter now of course guys Virtua Fighter for me is my absolute number one fighting genre period you guys know that Virtua Fighter is just phenomenal this is the first of course you got that block he stopped graphics and you know just all the fun for for the air and the time when Tekken was just you know the thing and Virtua Fighter was the rival and it was just I was Virtua Fighter all the way and both of them kind of look the same at the time so it was that era that that polygons that weird square triangle circle make a human look that was going on on any platform it was just the way it was and then of course we moved on with the 3d controller I got nights into dreams except for the dream is very very bad and sad guys nights did not work there was paint peel everywhere I was so disappointed in that I paid more for the package thinking well I see nights there I've seen the 3d controller but anyway moving on it gets better so then there was bugs unfortunately the cases not cool but it does have the artwork at the back and everything and I mean bugs is a really cool like this kind of like a Mario meets what would I say Mario meets huh that's a good one Mario 3d I guess like when you look at the whole thing like you as you can see here in the video you got that going away coming towards you side scroll so it's got that 3d movement take a feel for a game for its era which was really really cool the game is actually a lot of fun so a little harder than I expected it was but when I was playing it testing out this unit I realized it's actually a pretty cool game so I think there was a bugs - for the system as well which I do not have so I'm gonna try and find that the bugs was pretty cool and then a game that I played on the PC and played at sequel and so on was missed so it's complete you know in decent shape and missed of course is one of those games that you well it was a PC game of course and then they they kind of converted
