My First Flick is Going Uphill

I'm just standing here feeling really cool, man, dude. I could just put this motor in my x-15 and be content. I don't see the point of any more than this insane feeling you know, man. I'm up on just the perfect amount like that's 12 pounds, carrying a pretty deep on that corner now oh that's so fun dude. I was like full lot coming up the hill, that felt so sick your car drives really well if a lock sorry if I'm on Revlimid or a little too much I need to go in fifth all right I think I could definitely had a lot better time today I didn't really go as planned this whole event I really wanted to drive a lot it kind of turned into more of a meet and greet but it's really cool because I got to meet a lot of you guys which I didn't realize there's somebody around here. But look at these guys, these guys over here man, did you really? I don't they go fo you can film some good stuff sorry I just want to say bye in the camera I already said bye but yeah yeah rad down he's gonna let me drive the super next time he promised cuz this probably one of my favorite cars that I've seen here so cool. I really like this color and they're like stripes with the vinyl or whatever it is, it's really cool too. Oh by the way, sweet drift GTO wooden me and Taylor we're talking about maybe doing one this was the car that was our inspiration I don't really get much of a chance to film all the cool cars in the pits cuz I was so busy just trying to get cars to drive and stuff but a lotta red stuff. We're kinda in like the more of the pro level pits, I'm gonna miss you, I secretly hope my engine will blow up so I can fly you in and we can hang out again, do you remember how happy I got when Nichols SR blew up it was like the same happy face, okay bye forever.

Quick Thoughts Before Getting Rid of the S5

I think my favorite thing about this car is crazy that sounds even though I prefer it to be Manuel the paddle shifters on the steering wheel remind me just of the PDK setup that the Porsches have that I've driven. Sure it's very similar technology if not the same since it's under the same brand but I really enjoyed that very zippy, just running around not as fast as I may have initially expected but it's very torquey down low, it makes a lot of fun to zip around traffic kind of like Nicole's mini, like it's a very interesting power band. It also sounds very cool but it could probably use an exhaust suspension wise to it definitely exceeded my expectations but I had to but that was once I figured out that I need to put it in, I think it's called dynamic mode or something like that and it made it feel much better. I'd say by far the thing that I'm most impressed with with this car and again how would he did not sponsor this video or anything this is just my feedback since I've been driving this car around for the past like what four days, the level of finish in the interior, I like much more than my BMW. Yes it's hard to compare because it's a much newer car compared to mine but compared to the newer BMWs I've been in as well I really like how everything feels in here I don't know necessarily functionality wise but in terms of looks everything's super super fancy in here, like it's a sweet looking cockpit. Definitely enjoyed driving us around, I think is a perfect car for the trip, I feel kind of guilty giving out a back this car so dirty but I'm hoping that their Detailers their will thank me for not taking this through like some quick car wash at a gas station that would probably scratch the paint more than it would do anything better.

The Drive from San Francisco to LA

I guess that concludes the end of this little trip out to California, right after that day of drifting I had the drive from like San Francisco to LA now I got to sleep for a little bit and then I got a flight out early in the morning. Originally I was actually supposed to stay another day but I decided to go home a day early so I could get some driving in long story I'll explain, I had a blast oh it was so great seeing Trevor and Dave meeting all you guys and all the awesome drivers at the Winter Jam, so I hope you guys enjoy his videos and I can't wait till the next time I go out there so I can bring my own cars did I say cars I don't have a two-car trailer yet one day.

engine bay what are you guys doing in there yeah it's just like a six seven power stroke I just got the turbo like in the valley look at that just V banded little dual thing it's still right in the center and then the the intake manifold is on the opposite side like going up look at the throttle body like the throttle body goes to like two intercooler pipes that goes over to like the intake manifold on the bottom very different that's pretty good look at that stock you see you just like the jay-z day look at the bay paint too look I shine you this short this engine is it's literally like a size 16 shoebox that's crazy it almost looks like a rotary sauce like how short it is let's put it in something it's funny we have like a crazy luxury car but the things we're appreciating is just like the simplicity of the engine bay it's rude because normally these things are so overly complicated to Dave wanted to take it home as a souvenir but I told him no yeah this would be like an awesome software 240 if the crank sensor is in lock and that crazy like this amazing car like we're sitting here like how can we swap this into a 240 persons like this we a little BMX spot with the rainbow tire marks on the wall where you at alright guys so I'm actually in an S 13 right now but this isn't just any s 13 so this is from a company in Santa Rosa called hexa garage but let me burn off a set of tires in it it's actually a VQ swap so like a 350z engine VQ swap s13 makes her I'm 300 horsepower all motor should be really interesting to drive I've never driven a VQ s13 just like a lot lighter than a 350z with the same power so I'm pretty excited to drive it it sounds pretty cool it's a nice little setup its cage I'm just really excited to get some time on the track I could be driving the front we've got Mini Cooper and I'd be having a ball so very thankful that they let me drive this cut my neck brace on doesn't feel like as much traction right now they just threw some old burners on that that they had so it's gonna play around with it get a feel for it all right let's see this thing feels not too bad a little bit less grip than I expected but that's gonna make it a lot easier to learn on the car it feels really cool I almost feel like I'm gonna go into fourth know with the way that the gearing was that's a fun track I like it rather than just going all over the place and driving a bunch of different tracks like you do yesterday I really just want to like focus on getting a select few tracks is really learning them glue that line the line was pretty long at that other track so I'm going to give another one to try and the goal is to link this track burns go these tires are bald wonder if I should Arum down the times were like 45 so we're gonna air them down to 32 and give that a try what's interesting since they're wide tires they had like a decent amount of forward cut but when I would hand brake or be sideways they have no like rollover so they don't have much like lateral grip huh sorry long embrace I'd almost here a little more speed there that's fun come on haha got you you definitely do better I just feel so natural flying down that hill but you need to that's weird that's not normal oh I wonder oh it looks like it slowing gas no good touch come on car you can do it so I'm with Jake from heck cigars want to tell me a little bit about this I know you guys developed these kits and pretty rad yeah so this is pretty much our kid for the S chassis we throw the BQ in it in the past three four years they've been getting a lot cheaper showing up at the junkyard so we figured it'd make the kids swamp for the S 15 it's got a lot of torque cheaper to swamp in one of these than to piece together an SR and not to mention if you have nitrogen in the mix you make like the same power that I do in my car yeah so this is actually a customer's car you said his name was Rob right yeah Rob's car he was kind enough to let me use it anything else interesting with this car I mean looks like to Bri R it fuel cell just worked for a race team so we got it all set up a corner balance and like really nice just a well-set-up are just just run all the extra parts so cool now what do you guys specifically make for the VQ swaps you know intake coolant system the power steering the engine mounts as well as the transmission mounted pronounced CD a9 yeah yes and it's a pretty simple slump honestly you know we fit us up and so this is an SR radiator right just with a crossover it's kind of like they do with the Jay Z's but the cool thing is it like I didn't realize there's that much clearance compared to Jay Z yeah because the Jay Z's you'd be like here and you can't fit anything for fans and this this stays super cool so we realized that the reason why the car is breaking up on me I wasn't out of gas was actually too cold so really gnarly oil cooler you can just you know it's about a thousand pounds lighter than a Z or G so this is the perfect swap if you just want to hop in alright so I'm in lexus is-f C right now about to finally get it to take it out for a spin we had some issues the car was out of gas and then I had a boost leak but we got it all fixed up I don't know if it's got a bad battery or bad alternator but I got a jump box because if it stalls it's not gonna start back up he said I could take a few laps in it so I'm excited just to get to drive something else it'll be my first rotary that I've ever drifted I drove like an rx-8 around town but that has no turbos and he's boring so it should be exciting I'm pretty excited and it doesn't make a ton of power it's probably - Annah horsepower I think he said but should be good enough for some fun don't know how the audio is gonna be since this is my first time like filming in a proper convertible Stockham brake it was cool I'm excited let's start out on the super simple track just make it easy all the cards enough power steering either it's not alike and interesting I'm excited though he doesn't really drive this car much it just kind of sits and he lets friends take it out it is smoking a bit oil but it's a rotary so I guess that's normal and it's leaking cooling a little bit but I guess it's okay because it's not a lot I don't know just very crappy so appreciative everyone who's been letting me drive their car really curious how it's gonna feel I've never drifted in FC or an FD for that matter this tracks really only like one corner so I figured it'd be good for testing out the car I'm curious to see how she slides oh there's a bunch of dirt on the road there huh I'm gonna put my visor down not fun and the cars smoking a ton I feel like with the amount of smoke of this cars making it's not okay even though I said it's normal I don't really want to drive it I don't want to mess it up like out clean and often ie6 is I love it so as you said the smoking died down so I'm gonna give a shot of just doing like the chill back section of this course since I don't think I'm ready to do this car going too fast so just doing one tree here engines memories no I don't know but that was fun it's weird without power steering though you gotta kind of help it more if the slide is good though like it kind of feels like an S Jessie I think I'm gonna return the car though in one piece I just really don't feel like messing up someone's car kind of just got to know when to not push it you know oh yeah she's just smoking Trevor's doing the compeer and he actually qualified second we're about to watch his first battle be proud of him Dave yeah I'm very proud we're up in the grandstands just eating our food right now that was a good rod Trevor followed by the Boston teacher yeah Trevor Dave and I were saying like we're so fortunate to have the Audi on this event honestly like I would consider like getting one of these bringing it in the trailer to be our designated Pitt vehicle a feature like most people have small spurts he's just the big vehicle yeah just making around and gonna go take some photos this car for the last 15 minutes of winter gym so let me do some laps not a long line there but that's chaos that's where all the crashes happened so I don't want to drive that what is this guy doing sorry about that sketchy run I didn't mean to scare you the car is so much more grip than those other cars I got used to driving it's hard to extend it down that hill yeah I felt us starting to stall - I got still like mixed up and everything that I wasn't keeping on throttle but I think for whatever reason it came back alive yeah it's so scary to stay in throttle there but you have to it feels like you're picking up so much speed but you're not every time I come up short if I had like a car that felt like my car but had a 2j power in it I'd be happy like an hour you get used to it yeah bet sometimes I was a breaking to the left and then one me me what yeah Hwang and I did install and I didn't crash were you scared no I was a little scared that was sick I was at an outside clip do you really wanted to tan him and I told him no but he still followed he pushed me as a driver I owe my life to forests Hwang that's fun I like that that are the cones there makes a little easier that one felt a lot better I just I went to go to put it in third and then I was like now I don't need to it must be nice to have power I think if I didn't bobble going to put it in the third that would've been really good cuz like I feel like the important part of that course is to hang really wide on the uphill and then to stay wide again to push yourself towards outside it's just like North course you know it's crazy this to me feels like what I would imagine driving an FD car would be like with power and grip what the heck is -15 gonna feel like like dude this is such an adrenaline rush like throwing it up the hill like if just feels so grippy and like lapping it up and we're not even on grippy tires the crazy thing is like uphill there I still hesitated a little bit which is why I fumble with the wheel but when I stay in it perfectly it's so smooth this is really fun up until right now I was kind a perfect car for the trip I feel kind of guilty giving out a back this car so dirty but I'm hoping that their Detailers their will thank me for not taking this through like some quick car wash at a gas station that would probably scratch the paint more than it would do anything better the idea the front desk saw my helmet and asked if I did like motorcycle stuff told her I did drifting and she goes oh like NASCAR pretty much we just turned both ways alright guys so I guess that concludes the end of this little trip out to California right after that day of drifting I had the drive from like San Francisco to LA now I got to sleep for a little bit and then I got a flight out early in the morning originally I was actually supposed to stay another day but I decided to go home a day early so
