I've been sitting here working, I've had the buds connected to my computer just editing a little bit, not doing too much honestly, um but also Spotify being listened to music again, not very much also using Spotify for uh the tests that you've been hearing. But with the computer usage and a little bit of Spotify 15 minutes we are at 96 okay, let's uh test how well they stay in your ears all right, they didn't uh fall out onto the street and get run over by a car actually, they feel pretty snug I think I actually changed the ear tips on these for the larger ones and they actually feel really snug so pretty good. Okay we're at the studio again um if you're not familiar I shared this filming studio with a couple of YouTubers who you might know um but because of Kobe we can't all be here in at the same time so we're all just kind of like scheduling our own little time slots and just going in whenever you know nobody else is there which is annoying but it's you know the right thing to do.
And what can we do for now, one thing I want to test while we're here if you've seen some past episodes of this an air conditioning was just put in here as well as a fan and so these have noise cancelling they say active noise cancelling so let's test that out real quick. Uh uh okay really quick I just want to touch on what I think of the sound quality in my non-audiophile way um I think they sound good honestly, I think they sound a little bit better than the Galaxy Buds Plus there's definitely more bass, um and I think that comes down to there's a chamber in there that they use to kind of increase how the bass sounds in these. That the Galaxy Buds Plus doesn't have. Better than say the Pixel Buds, I would say as well but on the other side of that, I want to say that the touch sensitivity for like because you can tap and double tap and triple tap to do different things um is is less sensitive than I would like it to be. I want it to be a little bit more sensitive, I feel like the Galaxy Buds Plus are actually more sensitive than these are you have to be pretty deliberate when you do tap it so there's that all right.
And I've been working here in the studio for a while now and I've been using the buds the entire time, so let's check in on how they're doing for Spotify. We are now at two hours and 34 minutes and we are at 64 okay. And now let's head uh to go say hi to Fisher one of the reasons I came here to meet these guys because this guy back here just hit a million subscribers congratulations Mr. Fisher, thank you friend it is an amazing achievement and well-deserved David, can I brought your phone real quick because I want to test out what the microphones actually sound like? Okay so this first test is me on the Galaxy Buds Live there's an air conditioning nearby with a little windy out but this is what I sound like on those. This is me now talking on the Galaxy Bud Plus um you're what that sounds like in the same place, there's an air conditioning nearby and does this sound any different.
Okay calling it a night let's uh let's check in on the battery one last time we get our total of a little over three hours of using Spotify all day. And the buds are at well the right one is dead and the left one is at 15 which makes a little sense because the ear contraption that I made was a right ear and so all of those tests were done with the right one, so that's why it died first honestly, I think that's pretty good. They say that's probably about six hours of usage I never once put it back in the case which of course would have also charged it there's an extra twenty something hours in the case itself but that means that these were always connected to my device all day long even when I didn't use them so that's why they died with only three hours of Spotify usage. But I think that probably evens out, they're probably about right at that six hours of use with that plus the case pretty good but there you go. Hope you guys enjoyed that, let me know in the comments what you thought of this video of the fact that I did them on some earbuds never done that before so would like to know what you would like me to change maybe in the next one do something a little bit differently do less of more of whatever always appreciate hearing from you guys if you liked the video though, please thumbs up or share it really appreciate it. Also check out this channel if you like to see there please subscribe and ding the bell next door subscribe so you get notified when I do new videos as always regardless thanks for watching.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enanother day another wearable test today we're going to be doing it on the galaxy buds live the infamously bean shaped headphones from samsung um this is going to be a little bit different than obviously the normal phone or a laptop or a tablet uh figured we tried on the headphones and see how that goes and if you guys like it but i'm gonna kind of use them throughout my normal day we're gonna talk about the fit the quality things i like things i don't and try to give you guys a way where you can test the sound quality yourself with that being said first things first it's not coffee we actually need to go to the hardware store first man i mean it's the best i could do but like you know we got a little ear that i found on the interwebs and then uh got a little plastic tube from the hardware store and i'm putting my mic here in the back so i mean it's not the most scientific or the best way probably to do this but at least gives me some way of having you guys be able to hear what these actually sound like so let's bring this with us and we can go test what this sounds like in different environments and now we can finally get coffee so just need to take some time to get away coffee check first i just want to apologize for the royalty-free music that i have to use for the tests that you're hearing it's just it's youtube choice i also want to apologize for the way that the tests actually sound like the earbuds definitely sound better than what they sound like in this test and it's just because of the way that i've set things up maybe i can improve it in some way if you guys have ideas let me know um but they definitely sound better than they do in this test so i just figured it was better for you guys to at least hear something rather than just take my word for what it sounds like so now though i want to talk about the look and feel of the buds so yes they are being shaped and that does seem odd but in practice i find that once in your ear it doesn't really look that bad if anything i think the shape is less of what people notice as much as they do the fact that this colorway at least is just so shiny friends chai and mj from gadget match on youtube had a good point though if this color wasn't shiny it'd probably look like a hearing aid so maybe that's the reasoning for the glossy appearance by the way just something that's up to your taste now something else to note about them is that they do have these wing tips that you can swap out there's a small and a large one included and that rests inside the top of your ear and that's how they stay in okay so i've been sitting here working i've had the buds connected to my computer just editing a little bit not doing too much honestly um but also spotify
