The KILLER Huawei P30 Pro Feature No One is Talking About… _ The Tech Chap

As Tama Tech Chat, I've been eager to share my thoughts on the new Huawei P30 Pro with all of you. You might have already seen some videos about this phone, and I must say, it's definitely a powerhouse. One thing that's getting a lot of attention is the camera, and for good reason – it takes some of the best low-light shots out there. The five times optical zoom, ten times hybrid zoom, and 50 times digital zoom are all insane options that blow the competition out of the water.

But what really caught my attention was the new time-of-flight 3D depth sensor. This feature allows for different levels of bokeh blur in portrait shots, which means you get a more professional-looking effect without having to use third-party apps. The background becomes progressively more blurred the further you go back in the picture, creating a beautiful and seamless look.

Of course, no phone is perfect, and the P30 Pro is no exception. One thing that I was initially excited about was the design and color options – they're all sleek and modern, with my personal favorite being Rora Blue. However, it's the battery life that really puts this phone ahead of the competition. With a 4200 milliamp hour cell, the P30 Pro has one of the longest battery lives of any flagship phone on the market.

Now, I know what you're thinking – isn't that a bit surprising, considering how new this phone is? The answer is yes, it's indeed impressive. But there's a catch: the Mate 20 Pro also has a 4200 milliamp hour cell, and while it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the P30 Pro, it still offers a great experience.

One thing that I love about the P30 Pro is its flexibility. With a battery life like this, you can use your phone however you want without worrying about running out of juice. However, there are some downsides to consider – if you keep your screen at native high resolution (which some people prefer), it will drain the battery faster. And while the P30 Pro has more RAM and storage than the Mate 20 Pro, that doesn't necessarily mean it's better for everyone.

I recently ran an intense battery rundown test between the P30 Pro and the Galaxy S10 Plus, with the Samsung lasting around seven hours and five minutes compared to the P30 Pro's seven hours and two minutes. While this might not seem like a huge difference, it does show that you'll need to be more mindful of your screen time or use power-saving modes if you want to get the most out of your phone.

That being said, I do think the P30 Pro offers one major advantage – its ability to top up other Qi wireless devices. With 40 watt super charging and faster 15 watt wireless charging, you can quickly recharge your phone on the go. And while it might not be as fast as some other phones, it's still a convenient feature that I think a lot of people will appreciate.

Overall, my experience with the P30 Pro has been incredibly positive, and I think it's definitely worth considering if you're in the market for a new phone. The camera is incredible, the design is sleek, and the battery life is unmatched. Of course, there are some trade-offs to consider, but overall, I think this phone offers an unbeatable package that will keep you going all day long.

As always, be sure to check out my full review of the P30 Pro when it comes out – I'll have a detailed breakdown of its features and performance. "WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enOh went further back when I thought well hey guys I'm Tama tech chat and you've probably already seen a whole bunch of videos on the new Huawei P 30 pro I've even made an unboxing and a camera comparison so far and of course it is that camera that everybody's talking about it takes the best low-light shots it has the best zoom I mean the five times optical ten times Hybrid and even 50 times digital is just insane and it blows the competition out of the water plus I really like the new time-of-flight 3d depth sensor which gives you different levels of bokeh blur in portrait shots so it's not just you and then the background it gets progressively more bokeh the further you go back in the picture and of course it's also a beautiful looking phone I love the design and the range of colors although I think all rora blue is my favorite but for me the biggest selling point of the p30 Pro and the reason why I'm probably going to switch this as my new daily driver is the battery life yes it's not as sexy as the shiny new colors or the crazy zoom but the p30 Pro has the best battery life on any flagship phone that you can buy right now with a forty two hundred million hours cell that's a hundred more than the galaxy s 10 plus but wait what about the huawei mate 20 Pro which also has a 4200 milli amp hour battery the same size as a P 30 Pro well of course you will get similar battery life but also remember that first of all the mate Tony Pro has a quad HD plus resolution screen so if you do keep it at that native high res which some people do prefer it will drain the battery a little bit quicker but then you do have to consider with the mate 20 Pro you're missing out on the new quad camera setup with that brand new sensor the longer zoom and improve night mode plus you get more RAM and more storage on the p30 Pro but they are both great options and so having that big battery means that by the end of a normal day for me and I've been using the p3 Pro pretty intensely by around 11:30 p.m. at night I still have about 40% of my battery life remaining so if you don't go over the top two full days of use is definitely achievable I run an intense battery rundown test between the p30 Pro and the Galaxy S 10 plus with the Samsung lasting for seven hours and five minutes versus seven hours and two minutes for the p30 Pro so your new phone could have all the bells and whistles in the world but if you have to ration how you use it and keep it in power-saving mode all the time which reduces performance and lowers a resolution you keep having to close all the background apps well that's not really ideal so one of the best things about the people Pro in my opinion is the fact that you can use it however you want and not have to worry about the battery life but even when it does run down if you use huawei's 40 watt super charger that comes bundled with the phone it will go from zero to 70% which will give you at least another full day of use in just 30 minutes it also supports faster 15 watt wireless charging and of course we also get wireless reverse charging which we first introduced on the mate 20 Pro so that means you can top-up other qi wireless devices so maybe a friend's phone or a pair of wireless earphones just by putting it on top of the p30 pro now to be fair it is still very slow I had kind of hoped that improved it since the may 20 but if your friend's phone is completely died at they never night out and you can top them up to maybe 5% so they can get an uber home something I actually have done myself it can be pretty handy so I just wanted to make this quick video highlighting how genuinely incredible the battery life on the p30 Pro is as a car seems just a little bit forgotten as everyone else is talking about that awesome camera make sure you do subscribe and stay tuned though for my full review coming soon and if you do want to see just how good the camera is on this thing click on
