The Advent Calendar Conundrum: A Countdown to Christmas Special
As we sit atop the Advent calendar, it's clear that this won't be a successful arrangement. "Currently you're sitting on top of the Advent calendar and clearly that's not going to work out too well," our host, David Franco, admits. He pauses, unsure of what to do next. "What can I put you guys on top of? Does this work? The heck am I doing? Hold on guys, I got to wash you off." It seems that the cats have been a bit of a challenge for our host.
Moving on from the feline mishap, David introduces himself as welcome back to Countdown at Christmas 2023. "I almost said 2013," he notes, chuckling. "Yes, I'm using a very similar angle to the one I did yesterday." David confesses that he's running out of ideas for his special. "I love you guys, but today's a Christmas shopping day for me," he explains. "I'm going to Target for a little while to do some shopping for Charlotte."
In addition to his in-store shopping plans, David also has some gifts to check out on his Amazon card. However, the main focus of his special is on the final countdown to Christmas, specifically Among Us. With less than two weeks left until Christmas, it's starting to freak him out. "It's kind of freaking me out not going to lie," he admits.
David follows up on his previous visit to the DMV, where he timed the process from standing in line to actually getting his new license printed. The entire ordeal took about 12 minutes, and he was impressed by the efficiency of the process. "The lady at the front desk was overly enthusiastic and nice," he notes. On the other hand, the man who took his picture and information was very monotone. Despite this, David finished his task quickly and efficiently.
As we move on to Day 13 of Countdown to Christmas 2013, David reveals that they received a new Christmas tree stand. However, upon closer inspection, it's clear that the stand is much smaller than the one they had previously. "So, I guess we're going to have two Christmas trees," David says with a hint of disappointment. Despite this, he remains optimistic and expects that Day 14 will bring an even bigger surprise.
Speaking of which, David teases his special guests for tomorrow's show. He reveals that they'll be seeing Maui, who is described as "special guest" right. As the host wraps up his introduction, he expresses his excitement for the next day's episode.

yesterday we got this Christmas tree stand right today we got this Christmas tree stand but upon further investigation it's a lot smaller than yesterdays look at that so there you go so I guess we're going to have two Christmas trees um not going to lie that's a little disappointing because I was looking forward to putting a tree in the stand but I'm assuming they're setting us up for some insane Christmas tree excitement so stay tuned guys in theory day 14 we're going to get one of those Christmas trees and I will say day 14 I don't know if you can see this it's definitely a bigger door it's
