Moto E Unboxing _ First Boot _ SIM Install & Hands on Overview

**Unboxing and Hands-On Overview of the Moto E**

As I take the Moto E out of its packaging, I'm immediately impressed with its sleek design and build quality. The device feels sturdy in my hand, and the weight distribution is evenly balanced, making it comfortable to hold and use.

The first thing that caught my attention was the notification tray. We have a lot of notifications just let me clear that and let's look at the brightness as you can see it does have that auto brightness sensor so that is pretty good generally in very budget-oriented phones we do not find this so it's glad to see see that we have an auto brightness sensor.

Let me put it at max brightness so that you get an idea this is at max brightness it's pretty bright let me just lower it again and let's look at the Android version let's go to the settings and if we go to about the device as you can see it's running out of the box with the Android version 4.4.2 that is KitKat so we are getting the latest version of Android with this one that is nice and Motorola has said that this phone this Moto E will get one more major Android update so you don't have to worry about it.

Let's look at the storage the internal storage is for gigs but let's see out of that four gigs how much is available to you and we have added an 8gb SD card so let's look at the storage and out of that four gigs you have around two gigs that is available to you. I have added a SD card it says move media to SD card I'll test this later when I test this phone if the apps etc are movable to the SD card or not.

Moving on to the physical overview, we have the 3.5mm headphone jack a secondary microphone also that's interesting. We have the power button over here and nothing else on the bottom. We have the microUSB slot that will be used for charging this device and on this end actually nothing moving towards the back. We have that five-megapixel camera no LED flash Motorola logo nothing else if we don't have any front-facing camera on this model.

Let's take a look at the earpieces over here, which are also speakers on this Moto E. The speaker is a front-firing speaker, so let me just switch it on and let's listen to how it behaves. We have FM radio so that's nice and you also have Motorola Assist so as we are not connected to my Wi-Fi network, let's quickly fire up the browser we have the Chrome browser by default.

Let me just invoke the keyboard and we have to accept the terms and conditions. Let me put the settings brightness to auto let's see how it behaves and I'll say you know. This is the stock keyboard that we get and we do get haptic feedback whenever we touch any key so this is tech. Tobi's calm and again if you notice it does loading that fairly quickly regarding the dramatized one gig of ram and the GPU is the Adreno 3:02.

Let's just open up one of the stories, we have a YouTube video and let's see how it handles. Let me just zoom in and we have couple of YouTube videos. We will just select this one and see how it handles it. The speaker is pretty loud I have to say I didn't expect and that was not at max.

I couldn't match handling it without any issues viewing angles are also decent but definitely the Moto G had better viewing angles but overall it looks like a very good package for the price that is around 7000 or so let's also quickly look at the camera this is the camera interface that we get. This is very similar to what we got on Moto X and Moto G also and you can enable tap to control the exposure is such as that you do that.

Let's we also have the HDR mode so that is interesting panorama is their location and we can also set the storage to the phone or HD cam let's keep it to the SD card because we have already an SD card. And let's try actually there is no or you can just move around and you just click in to take snaps.

The camera initial impressions, the camera does not look that great it's the pictures came out to be pretty soft but definitely I'll test this camera a lot more as you can see these are the pictures exposure is all over the place. I would say again I'll test the camera a lot more so if you have any particular questions regarding this Moto I do post them in the YouTube comments.

I try to include them in my review and also be making a lot more videos on this moto e so stay tuned to my channel

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi there this is Ranjith and I have this moto e which is a budget oriented Android phone back Motorola though the pricing is very good it sells in India for just six thousand 999 that's almost seven thousand rupees the specs on this phone are pretty good and we'll be doing the unboxing and also be installing this SIM card and the micro SD card yes this phone has a micro SD card slot and also going to be doing the first boot and I'll give you my hands on overview so let's get on with the unboxing of this Moto e so here is the Moto e box and it looks very similar to the Moto G's box but one thing you notice is that it does not say a Google company now nor it says it's a Lenovo company so that's interesting pretty small box and here at the back it gives you some of the features it says that it has motor - LC as the back cover can be changed with different colors the one I ordered is in black color and exports of Gorilla Glass 3 and it is based on the Snapdragon 200 chipset which is a 1.2 gigahertz dual-core processor and it says Google Maps and also this says it it is water resistant coating that is nano coating like we had on the Moto G so let me just break the scene and this is Motorola over here so let's open this up and as I told you I ordered the black hello the white one is also available and this is sold in India exclusively by Flipkart yeah and if you are buying it from Flipkart I'll have the link for flipcard in the show notes and if you find this device do use the link that I posted in the show notes it will really help me so here is the Moto e we'll come back to this a bit later and initial impression the feel is very close to the Moto G let's open this up you also have a headset over here let me show you that and it's an ordinary one though it has that Motorola logo em over here let me just zoom in let me show you that as you can see and we also have a button here to take our end calls and a microphone over here we also have this power adapter which has the u.s. micro USB cord attached so you're not getting a separate micro USB cable and it just wraps on the documentation let me take out all the space we have a Moodle e guide and Hindi same thing in English again its color so it gives you basic info how to set up your phone if you are new to android again in the safety and regulatory guide and the warranty statement so that's it for the packaging let me keep these things to the side and let's look at the Moto e itself so here is the Moto e and we have this protective cover let me take it out and the screen on this is a 4.3 inch screen yes sounds armed and let's boot this device yes the back can be open let's do that and insert our SIM card and a micro SD card micro SD cards up to 32gb are supported and it's a dual SIM model so you can add in two micro SIM and you can open the back cover like this tough to pick up but definitely you can take it out and here it says that we can add our SIM cards over here and the micro SD card so we will just do that I just have one sim card so I'll insert one of my sims and we will also add our micro SD card here up to 32gb is supported so here is this like a SD card and let's put back this back cover the camera is a 5 megapixel shooter and this can record video up to 720p HD and we also have the floater lab look at the backs and the back cover is though it's plastic but it has that soft rubber finish so in the field Department it feels very hurt let's try to do the first boot for this device I hope it has some charge yes screen is pretty bright it sports a 4.3 inch screen which is a qHD screen that is resolution is 540 by 960 and yes this screen resolution is not 720p HD but again this is a budget oriented phone and in many of the budget oriented phones you don't even get this type of resolution for example you in some high-end phones like the LG l90 or the Xperia M which costs around 20,000 just have a qHD swing that is the same one on this one so I would say motorola did a very good job of providing that qHD screen and let me quickly just set this up yes it's connected and it says about your privacy I'll accept that we can set up our gmail account I won't do that right away we'll do that a bit later and we can migrate our data from an existing Android phone if you have but I won't do that we will do that again later let's quickly just look at it and we are booted actually this is the first boot let's just go to the notification tray we have a lot of notifications just let me clear that and let's look at the brightness as you can see it does have that auto brightness sensor so that is pretty good generally in very budget oriented phones we do not find this so it's glad to see see that we have a auto
