Testing Futuristic Parking Tech from Amazon

Amazon that claim to make parking easier hopefully we don't mess our car up at all yep you're clear it's the worst thing we've ever tested on this entire Channel some of those products costing up to 300 but are they actually useful or is it just a bunch of cheap crap today we're gonna find out now first up is three pieces of rubberized protective gear for your car we've got the bump shock 3.0 this goes around your license plate we've got the Bumper Bully this is a big boy and we've got this thing all I had to do is scroll down and see these oh they're foam we're gonna install all three of them on the Cabrio and test them in an extreme parking scenario some jerking appropriate looked really close to us you want to count the number of turns this is going to take yeah all right here we go are you really yeah thank you three oh that's the 15 point turn to get out now let's look at our bumpers and see how good they are uh I don't know what's new we can see right here that it did protect us from something and really what this is designed to protect from is if you pull up too close to someone else or if someone else is backing up right and like hits you direct on right all right let's check out the back we can see right here it definitely protected us from some of the initial impact I'd take the chance of getting my bumper hit than having this thousand percent I mean I would rather have a couple of scuffs than a big old diaper someone had this on the car and I saw it I'd bump it let's see it works now let's check out the side look at that okay no Dent at all I mean honestly if you lived in an apartment building and like maybe you have a second car like maybe under a car cover yeah I would maybe buy these and put them on each side for storage that's a good idea I mean I would throw one of these on foreign James next on our list another bumper accessory oh sick dude finally something tough looking we've gone from bumper diaper to Door pad to now something truly metal this is not to protect anybody else's car best solid steel license plate frame bumper protector limited edition polished chrome 279 dollars what that's what we paid for this thing you can sharpen these let's throw it on the car and see how much damage this protects against but also does I'm gonna give a little bit of distance all right are you afraid this airbag's gonna go that is true we do have an airbag an old airbag you guys ready what do we hit oh my goodness I mean it kind of broke yeah we blew the pads off no damage to the car it looks like we hit right there and right there it's not meant for ramen but for 270 dollars I do not see the need for this no our Toyota Previa might look like a modern car but it does lack some of the features that a modern car has one of which being parking sensors we got the parking sensors for car reverse backup radar systems vehicle slash Auto buzzing alert LED display so this installs in the car so you have spatial awareness Wherever You Go part of the instructions is just taking a hole saw yeah to your bumper I mean this is a huge commitment man okay so that 16 bucks but say you want something a little bit more professional yeah brand motion Universal curb alert is 161 dollars this one looks a little bit better you tape it in your bumper and it has a sensor facing out you don't need to drill into it yeah we already got these installed on the car let's see what like 140 dollars difference it's already beeping yeah all right so we got our million dollar Previa yep let's park it and hopefully we don't mess our car up at all no sensors so far up it's tough having a rear sensor and no camera right okay for 16 bucks that's pretty impressive I mean I don't want it but I am impressed at how well it works yeah yeah all right now we need to get a little bit closer to the curve and test our curve sensor no noise yet I mean you might have just done too good of a job I mean I feel like it should tell you you're close to the curb as close to the curve as I can get right I mean you're on it let's go calibrate a little bit just went off went off got it see I don't know I mean with the man hours involved in this we're pulling two people this thing is getting pretty expensive just went off twice okay all right I call that total crap we really did our best yeah we did our absolute best and for the money dude no way mean this might be good we don't have a super small garage but we do have a super small truck so what if we set this up inside the office and use it as a parking space for a very small truck problem bandwidth final note that means 2.4 gigahertz and 5G it connects to your phone oh I'm sure that works flawlessly I think the idea is pretty pretty solid uh apparently we're also going to be testing out a 22 dollar backup alarm that will shout hey this car is backing up so we've already installed the backup camera on our test rig let's go check it out we're gonna use the backup camera to go through this obstacle course but we can only use the camera setup we can't look around let's do it okay what is the process here it has to be in Reverse in order for it to connect oh God it has to be in Reverse to even start connecting it but it'll still play that this car is bad that's a separate product that they chose to install okay so the lines are upside down I can lock it but then it's then
