"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwell that was a bit of a fail hello 100 welcome to see him through glass and welcome to what I was hoping to be an epic an epic intro to this video with drone shots of the Palm Beach area north of Sydney I was taught about this road and this lookout point by an excellent photographer while all credit alone and so came up here super early it's like well it's 8 a.m. so it's mostly that early go here my drone didn't work so you know on top of that my girlfriend's been bitten by about 3000 spiders and I think she's kind of fallen out of love with Australia doing its wildlife everything seems to be creeping around so I reckon that makes it time for breakfast well this is the water fund another tip from our photographer Thomas I know it's an obvious thing to say but whenever traveling try and get tips from locals of where to go and what to see because we're getting lots of recommendations online somewhere for the boat which apparently does do amazing coffee but it's quite pricey and maybe a little bit overrated if you ever went in this place which is stomach look we are on the water it's really cool it's kind of like a bit of a flamenco vibe and it's a nice way to recover from the the drone there which is a bit disappointing but still that was an epic road to drive my car this morning and I love the mornings are getting up early getting out driving and now coming for breakfast is pretty much my dream home Oh that was delicious I mean we've got a takeaway yeah um anyway today I'm headed to Otto house Hamilton who are I believe or they were Porsche specialists but I get the feeling they might be a bit like a sort of singer of Australia so I'm not sure we're gonna find out so I'm gonna enjoy my peanut butter changed so here we are then also house comforted and I've got it wrong these guys aren't the sort of singer of Australia they are this true Porsche specialist they handle everything from GT for was to original Targa's do nuts and bolt restorations a few motorsport bit and we're going to dive inside in a second have a full tour from the owner Grand but whilst sort of shops like this might be a dime a dozen in Europe and America you really don't get many setups like this down here in Australia and so these guys really are leading the way and just change them briefly before filming the segment there's really very little that they don't know about the Porsche cars yes let's dive in have a tour see some of the stuff that they're working on at the moment I think what was it going to go over to the sales room at some point and then apparently get a chance to take one of their cars out on the road let's do this why thank you so much for having you down here first but also you're going to give me a tour of this sort of workshop so I appreciate that so we'll kick things off here because I've already been staring at this Tiger ever since Martin okay so basically this is a zero to seven career of Targa so what really makes this special and I'll probably be ending it's about a mechanically fuel-injected engine so a lot of countries never got this particular motor in the in the car so it's a mechanically fuel-injected to seven so it's the same as the two 7rs in a 73 model so same engine but g-series body so 210 horse standard this makes a little bit more because we've done a few little bits and pieces but it's it's a really cool car it was delivered standard with you with the duck tail and in this color so this car is as it was delivered from Porsche oh my god incredible they're so limited very limited numbers but yeah quite a cool car now this is a super interesting part because I actually personally only learn about this a few months ago when I saw one in Portugal yeah but this is the sort of the original Carrera GT it is it's a nine to four crew GT they were basically an hotted up version of a nine to four turbo turbo four-cylinder with an intercooler body kit sports seats a bunch of other things obviously made for homologation leading into their LeMans cars which with the GTR and the GTS which are extremely rare rare and with yet ridiculous obscene amount of money or be awesome to own lines I know this is uh this yeah this is that one of the original per oggi - so it's some are they good to join the fun you know what you got a it's one of those cars that you put yourself in the period and it was an awesome car okay by today's standards obviously there's things around that are heaps quicker and all the rest of it but still it's in its day it's a lot of fun it's fun to drive obviously the v10 coyotes he came along and I think maybe my younger audience will be more familiar with that so it's quite cool it's always like the sort of forgotten forgotten original crazy tease and a lot of people um we we work on a number of these years it wasn't a lot brought to this country we only got I think we only got about 22 or 23 of them forward to Australia do you know how many they did in total I don't remember the exact number of years so I'm super flare where art is this the food it was it was kind of up I guess you would say it is is a bit of a rocket bunny kit before its time it's a cool thing and they they're a great car they put it for the day really down the side of the shop we working predominantly service car so daily daily service various bits and pieces depending on what day you here as to what you'll see obviously you know we've got we service everything in this this shot from through five six all the way through to parent ninety-nine one stop so we've got a very very loud coat so now you look at every second just brilliant we do a bunch of motorsport stuff with a lot of our customers as well so we've got GT pours that we're modifying and making better obviously down the back there we have a rally car that we're gonna build to send overseas or more later on in the year we've got to do a couple of events in Finland and in Norway Oh that'll be fun yeah that'll be all sir please put some money likes on it yeah so over the back obviously down in the back corner is rest what we call restoration so we do a restoration of every basically anything that you want but a lot of the early cars been the value that they now are we we restore mainly early 911s as 911 turbos things like that so and it's all sort of nuts and bolt we're all young improving work we so nut bolt so basically you'll strip a car and and we refurbish it back to original so but everything's new so so we also do modifications and things like that to various cars but mainly these days are given the value of a lot of the early cars lots of people are wanting us to get them back to original so so that's what we work hard to do so we're doing a lot of that at the moment there's a bit I think currently we've got about ten person housing in various states of restoration I'd say Australians good colors because going by the the orange tiger tiger and he will grave with the coming on the other side of the top a lot of what we do is mechanical restoration work so so the black car over the here has just had the transmission rebuilt this this is a custom inspector car so in other words he started with a nine six four down a car and then turned it into a speedster e-type Paul's been sick it was a pretty impressive plumber for who exactly so he's um he's modified it with our help obviously and that we're putting a bit of a hotter engine in it doing all the suspension bigger brakes all sorts of various different custom type work so again that's one of the ones that we do a bit of custom work here five six on the end the a is we're working on a transmission a bit of engine work and rear suspension work so amazing so you really got a bit of everything here everybody's in this place it really really does so it really depends on what day you here as to what you see do you have a personal soft spot to you a notice board are many many years I've done a lot of motorsport and a lot of rallying that pins why the rally car that's what I co drive-ins oh yes so if you have a look on youtube you'll see a bit of means and rally cars really good mates we've Richard Tuttle from the you know so we do a bit with them from time to time so yeah we've done that I've done a lot of rallying so I'm a bit of a motorsport boy I need no knees of career account there is other things just but I'm poor so one passional course it's a college I found out it's for me for me it's it's been my life so this has been I guess what is it now 32 years of passion oh it's brilliant see thank you so much for showing me why doesn't say you've got some special stuff yeah no I know I'm struggling watching it's gonna enjoy a show I'm gonna enjoy your trip around the country man daddy I have now snuck around the corner to the sort of sales and storage room this is a bit of a secret room so I'm quite lucky to be showing you what's inside because as you can see behind me there are some quite incredible things tucked up in here of course naturally lots of Porsches but a couple of other things at the back we've got gt3 RS is new 9 and 1.2 gt3 a stunning yellow karate which is almost an identical spec to the Porsche UK car that I was lent in the UK before Christmas so quite cool to see that again it's a manual so for you clarity purist that's the car that you probably would all prefer to mine but there's some other real gems in here let me spin the camera around and I'll show you what I'm talking about here we go now this car is a clever I've lost it after for a long time 996 gt3 RS often put up against my dream car the Challenge Stradale I'm really keen to have a go in one of these because I think it's probably quite a pure experience so yeah very cool to see that here with the iconic white and red livery I'm also loving this yellow gt3 here and 9 9 7 gen ones and two gen one but there let me just keep coming down you can see maybe there's other cars that I mentioned lurking at the back but we're going to focus on the Porsches because as you can see it just the lineup continues to be amazing also anything with an additional a rally light at the front is always going to be a winner and also check out the seats in this Targa oh so tempted to reupholster the entire inside of my car at some point there's that Carrera T I mentioned we've got a really nice turbo just behind it some stuff up on the racks but yeah very not going to come and checked out this room let's head back to the main workshop what a ridiculously cool place this is turned out to be I mean if I didn't want an air-cooled 911 before I do want one now that orange Targa I mean all of them all of the cousins these I didn't even show you this and it's joke pass in a second but also seeing that Carrera GT I just suddenly got this weird each one of those even though gran said it wasn't the best car in the world it just seemed super cool but yeah look at this thing what even is that incredible these guys later there's the little put it color the bees nice to meet you Wow Wowwell that was a bit of a fail hello 100 welcome to see him through glass and other side of the top a lot of what we do is mechanical restoration work so so the black car over the here has just had the transmission rebuilt this this is a custom inspector car so in other words he started with a nine six four down a car and then turned it into a speedster e-type Paul's been sick it was a pretty impressive plumber for who exactly so he's um he's modified it with our help obviously and that we're putting a bit of a hotter engine in it doing all the suspension bigger brakes all sorts of various different custom type work so again that's one of the ones that we do a bit of custom work here five six on the end the a is we're working on a transmission a bit of engine work and rear suspension work so amazing so you really got a bit of everything here everybody's in this place it really really does so it really depends on what day you here as to what you see do you have a personal soft spot to you a notice board are many many years I've done a lot of motorsport and a lot of rallying that pins why the rally car that's what I co drive-ins oh yes so if you have a look on youtube you'll see a bit of means and rally cars really good mates we've Richard Tuttle from the you know so we do a bit with them from time to time so yeah we've done that I've done a lot of rallying so I'm a bit of a motorsport boy I need no knees of career account there is other things just but I'm poor so one passional course it's a college I found out it's for me for me it's it's been my life so this has been I guess what is it now 32 years of passion oh it's brilliant see thank you so much for showing me why doesn't say you've got some special stuff yeah no I know I'm struggling watching it's gonna enjoy a show I'm gonna enjoy your trip around the country man daddy I have now snuck around the corner to the sort of sales and storage room this is a bit of a secret room so I'm quite lucky to be showing you what's inside because as you can see behind me there are some quite incredible things tucked up in here of course naturally lots of Porsches but a couple of other things at the back we've got gt3 RS is new 9 and 1.2 gt3 a stunning yellow karate which is almost an identical spec to the Porsche UK car that I was lent in the UK before Christmas so quite cool to see that again it's a manual so for you clarity purist that's the car that you probably would all prefer to mine but there's some other real gems in here let me spin the camera around and I'll show you what I'm talking about here we go now this car is a clever I've lost it after for a long time 996 gt3 RS often put up against my dream car the Challenge Stradale I'm really keen to have a go in one of these because I think it's probably quite a pure experience so yeah very cool to see that here with the iconic white and red livery I'm also loving this yellow gt3 here and 9 9 7 gen ones and two gen one but there let me just keep coming down you can see maybe there's other cars that I mentioned lurking at the back but we're going to focus on the Porsches because as you can see it just the lineup continues to be amazing also anything with an additional a rally light at the front is always going to be a winner and also check out the seats in this Targa oh so tempted to reupholster the entire inside of my car at some point there's that Carrera T I mentioned we've got a really nice turbo just behind it some stuff up on the racks but yeah very not going to come and checked out this room let's head back to the main workshop what a ridiculously cool place this is turned out to be I mean if I didn't want an air-cooled 911 before I do want one now that orange Targa I mean all of them all of the cousins these I didn't even show you this and it's joke pass in a second but also seeing that Carrera GT I just suddenly got this weird each one of those even though gran said it wasn't the best car in the world it just seemed super cool but yeah look at this thing what even is that incredible these guys later there's the little put it color the bees nice to meet you Wow Wow\n"
