Samsung Galaxy S4 New Stability Update after 4.3 build XXUEMJ8

A New Update for the Samsung Galaxy S4: Stability Improvements and More

Last week, on October 21st, we received the 4.3 update for the Samsung Galaxy S4. However, it didn't take long for another software update to arrive. As of today, October 28th, Samsung has released a new update that aims to improve stability issues experienced after the previous update.

The Previous Update and Its Issues

-----------------------------------

After receiving the 4.3 update, many users reported experiencing lower battery life and heating issues with their Galaxy S4 devices. These problems were quite concerning for some owners, which is why Samsung's decision to release a new update was welcomed by many.

The New Update: A Small but Important Fix

-----------------------------------------

This time around, the update is much smaller than its predecessor, weighing in at just 16.65% of the original size. Despite its size, this update promises to improve stability and address some of the issues that plagued users after the previous update. The build number for this update is EMJ8.

Installing the Update

----------------------

Ranit, a Samsung Galaxy S4 user, decided to install this new update on his device. He opted to receive it via OTA (over-the-air) update and used his Samsung Exos model with the I9 500 processor. Although Ranit mentioned that he's unsure if this update will be available for the Snapdragon version of the phone, users who are using a different processor should check their comment section to see if they received the same update.

The Update Process

------------------

Ranit described the process of installing the update as straightforward and quick, taking only about 2 minutes to complete. However, after installation, his device took some time to reboot. This is not unusual, as software updates often require a system reboot to take effect. Once the reboot was complete, Ranit unlocked his screen and went to the "About Phone" section.

Checking for Changes

---------------------

After installing the update, Ranit checked if it had addressed some of the issues that arose after the previous update. To do this, he quickly swiped around the screens to see if the reading mode and other features were still present. He also checked to confirm whether his device was successfully updated.
