🌈how to [be productive] for lazy people 💤 + morning routine tips & healthy habits!☀️
**The Importance of Non-Negotiables**
For me, non-negotiables are like a discipline - it's something that no matter what always gets done and is always prioritized. These are the things that make you happy at the end of the day, and to me, they're almost like a lack of respect for myself if I don't carve them into my daily routine. When I move past these non-negotiables, I feel like I'm just running on emptiness, and it's not a feeling I want to experience.
That's why I've started making time for rituals that bring me joy and calmness each day. These are the little pockets of tranquility that I need to feel fulfilled and content. To help me stay on track, I've created worksheets with habit trackers and New Year's goal setting guides - all free and available below.
**Goal Setting: Begin with the End in Mind**
I love this approach to goal setting because it's not about making a long list of things I want to achieve, but rather about acknowledging my intentions and setting intentional plans for my goals. This year, I sat down and reflected on all the categories of my life - health, work, relationships, finance, home, and learning - and organized what I wanted my year to look like.
I created a system in Notion that allows me to organize my goals into one place, with deadlines for each month. It's amazing how much more productive I've become since implementing this system - it takes just five minutes of my time each month to stay on track. And the best part? I can actually see what I've accomplished and make adjustments as needed.
**Automating Tasks**
One of the most powerful tactics I've discovered is automating tasks that tend to get procrastinated. That's why I dedicate one day a month to "life admin" - blocking out an entire day to tackle those annoying, tedious tasks that always seem to pile up.
I keep a note on my phone where I add all these tasks throughout the month, and then spend an hour or so reviewing them before starting work on any of them. It's amazing how much more efficient I am now that I've got this system in place!
**Notion: My Secret to Staying Organized**
For me, Notion has been a game-changer when it comes to staying organized and productive. With several different categories ranging from work to home, I can easily see what needs to be done each day. This month, for example, my focus is solely on my home goals, and I've created a specific page in Notion with all the tasks I want to complete.
Each week, I take five minutes to review my progress and make any necessary adjustments. It's incredible how much more productive I am now that I have this system in place - and it's something I wish I had known about sooner! If you're looking for a way to streamline your life and boost your productivity, I highly recommend checking out Notion.
**Building Healthy Habits**
Finally, I want to talk about the importance of building healthy habits. For me, one of my non-negotiables is reading more - but it's not just about setting a goal, it's about creating an action plan to make it happen. Each month, I add a new book to my list and set a deadline for finishing it by the end of the month.
That means I'm committing to read 10 minutes each day, which is something that's achievable but still challenging enough to keep me engaged. And it works! I've never felt more accomplished or fulfilled since implementing this habit into my daily routine.
**Conclusion**
In conclusion, having non-negotiables that bring you joy and calmness each day is crucial for living a happy and fulfilling life. By prioritizing these things and making time for rituals that nourish your mind and soul, you'll feel more content and fulfilled at the end of each day. Whether it's reading more or automating tasks, the key is to find what works for you and stick to it.

goals and i like to organize them into the current month and so this month for example is january and so it looks a little bit like this and i remind myself throughout the month what i want to do and then i start adding some of those goals into each month so that way each month i am actually like reminding myself of those goals and here's the key i'm adding deadlines to them meaning at the end of the month i've either worked through them or i'm finished so it's also just a great way to build slow healthy habits without it getting so overwhelming by writing the goal and exactly writing what you want to do with it so for example one of my goals this month is to read more so i know it can sound very vague for me to just say hey i want to finish like one book but what i'm doing is i'm actually saying i want to read 12 books by the end of this year and so what i do is every single month i'll add the book of the month and then i know that i have to finish it by the end of the month it gives
